On the 11th of March, 2023, ChessBase India celebrated the completion of one exciting year of the ChessBase India Chess Club at the Phoenix Marketcity in Kurla, Mumbai. A special chess tournament - ChessBase India Chess Club 1 year Special was organized and more than 200 players participated in the event. Samay Raina was also there and played a fantastic game against the current Maharashtra State under-10 Champion Neemay Bhanushali. Enjoy the wonderful commentary of the entire event by IM Sagar Shah.

I wont lie. I have always dealt with anxiety and have won my way to final rounds and been surrounded by people and cameras. My brain turns to mush every time and my rating drops by about 1000 elo. Woahh at time stamp around 18:05 Samay took pawn on B5 with bishop it was a great move... As A7 pawn was hanging and rook on D7 should be traded soon as it's a lethal weapon and that was also stopped as the Bishop on B5 was covering square D8. I just can't believe Samay played such a nice tactical move which was winning on the spot

blunder was if queen takes pawn then bishop goes a6 , now a bishop + a queen is pinned obviously he'll move the queen then bishops goes all of a sudden

@@shubhampawar8862 No bro wrong idea. If white bishop goes to a6. Black queen takes the white queen on d1. Either of white rooks have to take then black bishop on b7 takes the white bishop on a6. And black is up a full piece. Maybe you're somewhere around 600elo. The actual idea is that is black queen takes the pawn on d6. The white bishop goes to h7+ (checking the king). The king has to move or capture. Either way the black queen is lost. As no piece is defending it.
