Khasi Halwa!
Ingredients
White Pumpkin - 2 Kg
Ghee - 60 Grams
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Saffron - 1 Gram
Cardamom powder - ½ TSPN
Cashew nuts and Dry Grapes - 50 Grams
Cloves - 25 Grams
Cinnamomum Camphora - 10 Grams
Method
Finely chop the pumpkin using grater then filter the pumpkin’s water using a clean cloth.
Boil the filtered water in a separate pan.
Add pumpkin in the water, cook well. Add sugar, Saffron , few drops of lemon, ghee, Cardamom powder and a pinch of Cinnamomum Camphora and mix it all well.
Fry few Dry Grapes and Cashew Nuts in Ghee then mix it with the cooked Halwa.
