If you are a judo player invest in learning butterfly guard, use grip fighting to the inside and getting around shoulders / under hooks. Judo skills transition great to this game - 6x judo national champ USA brown belt in bjj
Your humor for me amplifies my learning ability (which is a smart psychological fact). You also explain it with fundamentals and practical explanations which i havent had before, my gym was like "just do it bro"
Dude, you're good. It is really amazing to watch. As a (retired) judoka, the moves themselves, apart from the leg locks, aren't exactly completely new, but the level of detail on how you control your arms, hips etc, in every situation, is truly amazing grappling. The lightspeed breakdown, is your humoros style, but forces me to pause, or rewatch. 😊
Here’s something that can change your way of life or thinking. This is the most important thing you will hear/read today. If you’ve told one lie, stolen anything, or lusted (which is adultery of the heart), you’ll be found guilty on Judgment Day and end up in Hell. But there’s good news: Though we broke God’s Law, Jesus, the prophesied Messiah, perfectly kept the Law, fulfilling all righteousness. He paid the fine for sinners ( that we could never pay ) by suffering and dying on the cross-absorbing the wrath of God that we deserve. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds of eyewitnesses. Today, repent and trust Jesus; God will grant you forgiveness and the gift of eternal life. God bless God bless ❤❤
I'm about to start judo and the dojo that teaches it teach no gi grappling as well. I'm gonna learn them both so I can be just as dangerous on the ground as I am on on my feet.
@@slickwilly6868 Sounds good, but no-gi is not that essential to stand-up or ground game. It is just different. Sure, you have more options with throws, but you also have a few more submission/pin options. It's just a different philosophy.
Such good breakdowns, I’m not much of an auditory learner, always replaying things to hear people through their motions but you deconstruct your videos so well! Keep it up:)
6:23 that was uki-goshi and finished with harai-goshi, for it to be taio-toshi he had to plant the feet on the ground and throw you over his leg, not his hip. great vid jedi, keep em comin 💪
People need to realize that there is no such thing as the ultimate style. It all depends on how it is taught. Also, students each come to their own conclusion about the style. How they use it depends on how they find ways to adapt it to their needs.
Love your videos man, great commentary funny stuff, excellent job at letting people know what’s happening in the moment. Im a purple belt myself just wanted you to know I appreciate your videos. Great job keep em coming
I don’t know squat about either of those ma styles but the narration was great. High energy, succinct, humorous, and informative/educational. That and the obvious ma skills make me want to watch more.
Love watching your video. BJJ is made expensive around my area so it isn't in my family budget and I can't roll with my wife for various reasons so in my mind I'm keeping up the BJJ thought process by watching your vids! I'll eventually get back in but for now, thanks for your tutelage!
When u have that 2 on 1 and they frame on ur head you can just post off the crease in their elbow with the hand controlling the wrist and drop to a double leg
First off Welcome to my country! 2nd excellent explanation of the action. Footlocks are a must to learn in the current grappling landscape. And also can you roll with a Catch styled wrestler at some point to see how BJJ works? Grappling ftw!
Yo I'm a brand new white belt watching how y'all roll is very fun I hope I can get to an experience level where I can have non exhausting rolls like this where we actually play the game & not just try to force things. Great commentary too btw ya nerd
I love your commentary technically and the way you speak great job ... You all must be on a different level you're like I don't really do foot and leg locks but I'll casually submit a sambo champion. Also I like it when I find myself in some of the positions you were in you didn't like. But all in all it must be another level, I mean I wouldn't mind getting an arm drag and then bring their other hand to frame but you didn't like it.
