He voiced as a leader Gargoyle, hero like demon powers, Disney Voodoo man, Giant Salamander King, a cat that talks but only in the different world, the president who's competition with Rick, and an acholic Barber talking cat.
Don't forget about the time he was a homeless man that fought shapeshifting mind controlling aliens that used subliminal messages to hide the fact that all media and politics were a ploy to destroy earth
Also depends how old you were, I was a kid (11 years old) when it was released and I loved it. It didn't scare or creep me out, but I remember I didn't like chicken run which I watched when I was even younger so
No matter how many times I hear his voice, I will never get tired of it. While I would have loved the original cast from the pilot to reprise their roles… at least they got some amazing talent for the characters. I mean, seriously, how did they get Keith David, a legendary VA, to voice and SING as Husk!? That is beyond amazing!
@@PhantomPraetor They have the money for sure, but to invest it in a brand new IP like this is shocking and wonderful at the same time. Sure, the pilot has almost 100 million views, but that doesn’t always mean the show itself will be a success. I’m just glad that they did invest in the show and that it is doing great in terms of views. I can’t wait until the second season!
@@KHMDarknessSame. It was a little rocky for me but I got used to it and everyone voices. Some are almost similar to their old ones it's hard to tell it was changed
@@meme-ih1wb Yeah, I think they did their best to sound as much like the original cast as possible, although I remember hearing that the original VA for Alastor was actually trying to sound like the exact same person who now voices the character. So that’s probably one reason why it’s really hard to even notice that they are different. Though Keith David can’t really help that e sounds so different. That voice, man! It’s always amazing! 🤣
He's voiced a character who got dragged down to Hell, a character who came from Hell, a cat who goes back and forth through Hell, and a cat who used to be a ruler in Hell. He knows what he's good at.
@@kingbeef66 Sorry, but how is Husk or the Cheshire Cat "literal" cats? The one from Coraline I can excuse, cause it was just a regular cat that could enter the other world and gained the ability to talk there. But neither Husk nor Cheshire are in any way "literal" cats. Ones a demon who's appearance resembles a winged cat-like being and the other is a mystical shapeshifting creature that happens to look like a cat.

when i watched hazbin hotel as soon as husk spoke i knew it was keith david since i recognized him from his role as the president in rick and morty, but i do love the coraline film and im shocked i didnt recognize it

Keith goes from the cat, Spawn, The fucking Arbiter from Halo 3, to Commander Zavala in Destiny, to now Husk. this man’s wide range of voice acting is incredible
Literally King Andrias, Goliath, Dr Facilier. The man has some DISNEY credits….no wonder they picked him for a musical show about hell. With all his wacky roles he was perfect🥹
Keith David is the most underrated actor/VA. I mean he is literally the OG voice for spawn for Christ sake. Not to mention he voiced Dr. Facilier. He needs more attention
