So since it comes up here and there the reason why certain scenes aren’t here was cause I wanted to avoid copyright blocking the video,Again. It was blocked prior like 3-4 times because of certain scenes so trying to cut them down to fit in the video while still showing the scenes was Super difficult,so a chunk of the later episode clips are definitely not as many as I wanted

It really sheds a light on light on musical numbers in media, sure we can hear the music and maybe the characters can as well. But everyone else is just like, “Why the fuck are they singing? Are they auditioning for a musical?”

I was more happy with the banter between him and angel in that fight over him using his wings. Husk: THESE ANGELS JUST KEEP COMING! Angeldust: Ha! Husk: yeah ok, I walked into that one. Omg s1 was such a hit, ALMOST MAKES THE 5 YEAR WAIT SEEM WORTH IT VIVZIE! lol

i've always loved Keith David's voice acting and I especially love a lot of his delivery for Husk. Like at 5:10 it feels like he's part angry, part genuinely uncomfortable bc Angel finally pushed him too far and crossed a real personal boundary for him. its so good
I was a bit unsure with him being husk but I'm glad to be proven wrong. And as for that scene, it's because Angel actually LIKE LIKES Husk. He's 'coming onto him' because he wants to be close to Husk and has a thing for him. It's just, as Husk said, he sees everything about everyone- he knows Angel's got issues and knows that there's a lot Angel's gotta deal with before he even starts to be okay with the concept of maybe wanting to try liking Angel back. The rejection Angel feels isn't that Husk has 'different preferences' it's that Husk rejects HIM.
Keith David has played two characters who have lost their souls to deals- Al Simmons and Husk. For this role, you really couldn't get anyone more fitting for the character.

He’s literally a drunk to sober, grumpy cat in the hat and I love him 😭😭😭 I love how Keith David chose to go from a drunkish voice, to a sober and more genuine one by the end of the series. Great character and VA :) Edit: I think Husk is slowly getting redeemed without knowing it. First of all, the drunk to sober voice, and also, in the finale, he thought that Alastor was dead, which means he thought he was free. And in the beginning of the series, he said he wouldn’t stay at the hotel if he had the choice. But in the finale, he thought he was free, which means he knew he had the option to stay. And he did. YAYYYYY
I like how at the beginning when Husk is introduced, his voice is grovely, similar to his voice in the pilot Makes me wonder if the studio planned on keeping that at the beginning but decided to lose it a few episodes in and just let Keith David speak normally

I honestly hope we get to see more interaction with Husk and the others in season 2. From calling her "Princess" to "Charlie", to showing worry when he saw the symbols on the ceiling confirming a deal with Al, to acknowledging her speech before the battle, grieving Sir Pentious, using his wings to protect both Angel and Cherri, to helping rebuild the hotel (willingly) to joining the group hugs. I love this grumpy old cat sm ❤
I love that even though he thought Alastor was dead and his deal was nullified, he still stayed to help rebuild the hotel and presumably work there, and he was even smiling while doing it. And then when Alastor returns his smile dissappears
4:03 I like how husk talks about charlie like that not just because she's lucifer's daughter and would be killed if he dared to say anything bad, but out of respect she'd do anything to help anyone no matter how irredeemable they may be

Just managed to pause to look at the shot of Angel and Husk’s shot when Lucifer made his Freudian slip; literally a blessing that the exorcist was just as confused as them, otherwise she would have run him through with the blade in her other hand.
So I don't know if you guys noticed this little animation mistake but I did. During the time between 1:09 and 1:13 the inside of Husk wings were first Red when the shot showed the whole group but once it was cut to Alastor then back to the group the inside of Husk's wings were now Black. I just wanted to point out that detail I noticed.
Am I the only one who hears the little cat sounds Husk makes every now and then? there so cute and silly help😭 0:23 when he says "Call me whiskers again-" you can hear a annoyed cat sound (idk what to call it💀) same with 0:35 :3

The movement Angel uses one of Husk’s wings to wrap around him I think is revealing a lot more of Angel’s past and what he is into then we are lead to believe. We all know what this implies deep down.
Husk is the true “Grumpy Cat”, and I’m all for it. Despite being so stoic, Husk’s been around the block for quite some time, so even if he doesn’t seem up to it he will still let you lay your head on his shoulder, provided you order some booze and don’t tick him off. Husk is also very smart knowing the personality traits of the main character.

2:54 Nifty throwing herself off like that gave me a strange idea. Since alot of people think she was an overlord maybe she was by climbing her way up like Alastor and when he beat her she thought it was hilarious and became his friend
