@@SaberScorpion No joke. Just looked up Kath Soucie on my phone, I never though I’d see a filmography as long as some of the heavy hitters like Jim Cummings, Frank Welker, and Tress Macneille, for someone I knew very little about. The worst thing is she isn’t playing just bit parts. She’s been some really long running characters in their respective series.
In the summer of 1988, Greendale Community College in Greendale, Colorado. was taken over by a Powerful Business-Fox and was turned into a drug and criminal empire that expanded from Colorado to the sun washed avenues of Paradise City...wealth, power and passion beyond his wildest dreams. He was Miles "Tails" Prower, He loved the American Dream with a vengeance. The world will remember him by another name ...SCAR-TAILS. And will also remember the series of events that went down by the name of... Community but sonic but SCARFACE.
@Verbose Atrocities yes I know, I was speaking relative to the timeline of the two clips shown here, which was fallout 1 first in 1997 and mickey mouse clubhouse somewhere in the late 2000s/early 2010s
Jim Cummings, a legdenary voice actor. He did the Death Mask in Splatterhouse too. Jim voiced a massive majority of my youth. everyone growing up in the 90s youth really.
Not only he has an insane amount of range of his voice but he has replaced some actors lines (mostly the singing) and you will never know the voice has changed unless you were to look up the credits
People adding “he also did this character!” but just saying one. Dude has literally done like five million character voices. Once you start noticing his voice, you won’t stop hearing it in everything, everywhere. Cummings is ubiquitous.
The Master is actually a combination of Jim Cummings and Kath Soucie (the female voice that you hear in his voice occasionally). Kath Soucie also voiced a ton of cartoon characters and some other video game characters too.
He also voices Winnie the Poo, Tigger, Darkwing Duck ... he's been in a ton of Disney stuff. Man's got some pretty good range. Also worth noting, in Fallout 1, he also voices Gizmo in Junktown.
He also voices every elderly male character in vanilla Skyrim, so to me hearing that Mickey Mouse character in the beginning was just an unusally happy Vignar Grey-Mane.
I grew up playing Army Men: Sarge's Heroes which he voiced a bunch of characters in and I remember being super excited the first time I found his voice in Skyrim.
The fact that the Master switches from calm to Negaduck on a dime is a testament to both Jim Cummings's acting ability and just how unhinged the Master is.
Don't forget the guy forgot that mutants can't bread and if they could I highly doubt it would be stable and most likely all deaths would be stillborns
always had a dream of being a voice actor and jim cummings is pretty much a hero to me in that regard. dude can show up in practically anything from kiddie shows to gore shows never know were he might poke his voice out.
It’s incredibly fun to listen to voice actors work when they have a wide spectrum of work genres. That gal who voiced princess azula comes to mind, she played some psychotic roles, sultry roles, cutesy kiddy roles, etc.I only wish there was more footage of the actors recording their work. I am pretty sure I have seen billy west talk to himself with his different characters.
Jim Cummings is an absolute anomaly, because his while his voice is probably THE most distinct one I’ve ever heard in my life, the incredible RANGE of his performance capabilities always throws me for a loop. He voices Pete the Cat, then goes on to voice Captain Matthias of the USG Ishimura in Dead Space: Downfall, and countless others. What an absolute legend.
I swear, I never be able to fully comprehend the sheer talent and vocal range that voice actors have. Even when I know ahead of time that two different characters share a voice actor, the difference in voices always has me going "wait, these were both voiced by the same person?!"
A bit of context: The second part depicts the final boss of Fallout 1, "The Master". I can't recommend you enough playing it at least once, despite it's outdated graphics. You're in for one hell of a ride!
@@onesaucynougat7471archaic? it's pretty approachable especially compared to other crpgs of that era, like icewind dale. hell, unarmed is a million times more fun in fo1 and 2 than in any of the 3d games
the VA for Mr House also voiced Azmuth from the Ben 10 franchise in the Omniverse installment. Doctor Dala's VA did some voicework on the My Life as a Teenage Robot series, no major characters mind you, but still a fascinating connection there.
don’t forget Ed from The Lion King Olfrid Battle-Born from Skyrim among others Cat from Catdog and basically random voices for every children’s cartoon and video game your whole life. he’s by far the greatest voice actor who ever lived.
Good voice actors are real treasures, same voice actor plays SpongeBob and Commander Peepers in Wander Over Yonder. Outside of both being child friendly characters, doesn't get much more opposite than that. But man that "Oh no!" is his signature 😂
Meh. I agree with your sentiment, but with Kenny, atleast you could guess without knowing. This video is much more opposite. Another example is Mark Hamil, Luke Skywalker , but also the most iconic and deranged voice of Joker ever. True opposites.
I'm starting to like this trend because it's more so praising the vocal talent of some actors than it is poking fun at their wildly inconsistent IMDB pages
I met him at a con once. He's the sweetest man ever! He does Chef Pisgetti on Curious George and that's my little sister's favorite show. So, he agreed to do a special message in Chef voice just for her! She was thrilled!
The voice actors were fantastic for these original games and surprisingly quite experienced in other roles, fallout 1 would not be as great a game without these wonderful voice actors new vegas had good ones too
Fun Fact: did you know that Jim Cummings also voiced Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger, and Cat (CatDog), and Kraven the Hunter, and Thanos, and Scar, and Ed, and Don Karnage, AND KAA, AND DR. EGGMAN, AND TASMANIAN DEVIL, AND DARKWING DUCK, AND KING TRITON, AND STEELE, AND A CRAP-TON MORE?!??
hes like the voice of every other old man character in skyrim also fallout 1 is an interplay and black isle entertainment game in 1997, 7 years before bethesda aquired the rights to the IP when the two previously mentioned companies completely disintegrated
The game is Fallout 1, and this guy actually has some of the best written dialogue I’ve ever experienced. It’s an isometric RPG, but you should totally check out what “The Master” final dialogue is like. It’s pretty sick
@@TheGenuineDWNUT A joke is a display of humour in which words are used within a specific and well-defined narrative structure to make people laugh and is usually not meant to be interpreted literally. It usually takes the form of a story, often with dialogue, and ends in a punch line, whereby the humorous element of the story is revealed; this can be done using a pun or other type of word play, irony or sarcasm, logical incompatibility, hyperbole, or other means.
dude imagine spending (if i remember the lore correctly) DOZENS of years trying to create the ultimate race, just to realize they can't breed. Godspeed, Master. Godspeed.
Jim Cummings is a phenomenal voice actor. He also voiced Darkwing Duck, Winnie The Pooh, Tigger, Ray the Firefly (Princess and the Frog) Bonkers D. Bobcat, Dr. Robotnik from Sonic SatAM and a ton of other characters.
