Summy was a beautiful girl from Cholistan, living with her mother. She was kidnapped by a village ruffian. Her mother in the absence of her daughter used to cry and often does walling. Her lamenting change into words, so the Summy folk lore was formed. So it is not a love song rather a lamenting of a mother for her daughter. There is a narration about this story that in Cholistan when rains do not fall for a long time and the drought lasts months. The people come out of their homes and sing Summy. The group lamenting is so heart rending that even sky's eyes become wet and it start to weep with torrential rains.

*Actually UMAIR JASWAL stole the show. His performance was so energetic and btw he recently got married with SANA JAVED, Pakistani popular Drama Actress* His brother is also a singer you can check his songs too in Coke Studio seasons.

I am from pothohar a region in punjab, and Sami is our traditional dance, a dance of joy, happiness, mostly done on weddings while the dhol party and people singing sami meri waar main wari..... (Not the Umair's part lol).

Ahad, Sarah, QB and many more are all there... My next recommendation is "Aima Baig x Abdullah Siddiqui | Be Myself | Official Video" - an English song which in my view deserves global exposure!

Ladies! QB made UJ dance to her tune, what else we want :) :) :) ;) ;) ;) Yesssss...the flute, the mandolin, Mr. Mannu putting on a Superman top & counting "1,2,3" on his bass guitar, Mr. Ahad Nayani, backup vocalists were awesome. UJ's part of the song was created around the QB's core part, & I feel that UJ's high vocals overtook QB's vocals in the end, or may be he got too excited ;) :) Butttt...your reaction...spot on, as always...cheers!!!

Bhola you were spot on, I felt the same way that something is off at the end, a lot was happening. My vote is for Mannu, he chills. Umer and QB, both have very distinctive voices, maybe they didn’t go together that well? Jo please do another one by Auj, a song named saanwre , it was originally done by NFAK.

Ahad Nayani was at his absolute best in this song! You should also listen to Charkha Nolakha if you haven't already. It's with Atif and Uzair Jaswal (and I think it's among Uzair's best performances in CS).

Since you have listened Umair Jaswal, now I want you to react on the soulful legendary song "Charkha" by Atif Aslam and Qayas (Umair Jaswal). This is the best coke studio pakistan song, ever. I guess season 5. Umair jaswal (vocals) n uzair jaswal (guitars) earlier made a rock band called Qayas. Then they both goes solo n start singing. So atif aslam n qayas created that master piece "charkha".

Sammi is a Wedding Dance that's preformed in the Pothwar Region of Pakistani Punjab. The Sammi Dance is Performed by Tapping Sticks, Similar to the Gujarati Stick Dance.

Very very nice reaction. I want to admire the way you react very unique & pleasant. You always pick the right points in the song which always hits us. Talking of the flute work. If you want to see great flute work in Coke studio then you should listen to: 1. "Nawai Ney" by Tina Sani had really great flute & violin combo. It is from coke studio season 2 and Rohail Hyatt is composer. It is worth listening. It will take you to another level 2. "Yar Daddi" by Ali Zafar which is masterpiece of Ali Zafar from coke studio season 2. It has also great flute work. Also want to recommend you "Charkha Nolakha" by Atif Aslam & Umair Jaswal I think from coke studio season 5 produced by Rohail Hyatt which is sufiscore with powerhouse voices of both singers. I hope yoy will one day react to my suggestions as well. Thanks
