This Dance is cultural dance of Pashtun called "Attan". Pashtun have been stereotyped as a extremists but its cultural is full of dance and romance. Attan is essence of Pakhtun cultural dance, Flute, Rabab are considered major instrument of music., and it is being played in every gathering whether friends are gathering or wedding or any other

But Attan is a war dance lol, There's nothing "dance" or "romantic" about it, It has roots in zoroastarianism and Pashtuns have been doing it to symbolize war or a warrior spirit, Not saying that it's a bad thing but lets not change what our dances mean.

Back in the days, on #Pashtun weddings, when family sit around "gharra" (mungi in #Pashtu) singing the song, playing this folk music, boys girls folk dancing, at the end some elders would join, festive, celebratory music #Khumariyan re-surrected the folk ....like from the dead, beautifully, with energy, great vibes. when you are reacting to a new band, its an opportunity for you and us to explore more about them. Tamasha is one song that give khumariyan fame. You should listen to it even you react to it or not. But being a music fan i would recommend.

I enjoy live performance of Ya Qurban live at Momentum PC karachi. It was life time experience honestly. Yet I am from Sindh Pakistan, astonishingly feeling pashtoon traditional dance attar in my veins, even foreigners were dancing, while khumariya was playing ya Qurban.

Khumariyaan is the instrumental band with their first track "Tamasha* It's more like Eluveitie... But the Eluveitie is Scandinavian Music fusion and Khumariyaan are Pashto music fusion.

This is a cultural instruments of pushtoon which we cannot forget till now and the words which is used in song has a deep meaning which can be explained by an old aged man .we people called it palsapa.

The other song of them from coke studio is (rasha mama)other pashto folk featuring zarsanga and gulpanra(i bet you cant pronounce it😂😂) and is not totally instrumental
