Sammy Davis Jr. remembered - Larry King Live (part 5 of 5) 

I can't think of anyone who possessed the range of talent owned by Sammy. He was unique.

Hurts my soul as to what all that man went through in life all the way to the horrible end. A great talent that I was so fortunate to see him perform live once He was with Frank & Lisa in Miami. It was to be Dean but Lisa filled in. They all did a wonderful job but I was most impressed with Mr. Sammy Davis Jr RIP dear Sammy. If there is an afterlife, you're in a wonderful place of peace for a long while now. Thanks for all the wonderful music and entertainment that will last forever. Great work and job well done. We did care about you even if we were only fans who didn't know you personally.

God bless you Mr. Davis. you were a great man and entertainer it's a shame you died so young. rest in peace

Altovise got a lot of shade... but she was married to Sammy the longest . She was much younger and they didn't have the conventional relationship. But she was the one there who undressed him when he was sick , she was there until the end and they loved one another. She passed in 2009.
