She now lives in Philadelphia broke during the time when Sammy Davis Junior was catching his last breath started taking everything out of his house even his manager did the same thing

SD Jr. exalted his own career above everything and everyone-- including his two marriages and his children. Is that honorable? No. But if one chooses to prioritize career above all else, shouldn't we remember him in terms of career achievements first? SD was a swinger, a drunk, a cocaine addict, an absentee father, a reckless spender, etc. We know all of this. But when most people, including myself, think of Sammy they remember his singing, dancing, acting and eloquence. That's just how it is.

I think you've got that backwards. A person's career is their footnote in life. It's not what you do for a living but whom you are as a human being what's important...at least to me. If he thought so little about his wife... what do you think he thought about you?

@frickadele And I suppose you are flawless. Oh ok. Sammy Davis Jr. is celebrated for his tremendous, once in a lifetime wealth of talent. We all have our flaws. Sammy had his. Former child stars all seem to battle financial issues of one sort or another no matter how much they've made. Do you remember Michael Jackson?.. But when people think of Sammy Davis Jr., they think of his groundbreaking 60 year career. His shortcomings are simply the footnotes of his life story.
