No, it isn't spelt or pronounced the same way as the Tongan word. In Samoan, accents are put on the E and U in order to elongate the pronounciation of the letters E and U. Therefore, it's spelt 'lēmū' and is pronounced leee-muuu
Im samoan and some tongan songs if translate to samoan are swear words.... but every now and then i tend to fast forward past the bad part and continue playing.... 😂.. especially if its a good song...😅.
Why tf y’all tripping about? Toko is singing, “fai fai lemu mai pea = keep it calm 🎶” and y’all wanna argue over whose translation is correct. Se keste ia🤧🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can someone please translate the song. My best friend/sista is Tongan and I want to prank her on her birthday and "accidentally" play this song. Please and thank you
Let’s keep taking it easy (or going with the flow). The things others are saying - they won’t get anything from it (in other words, what they’re saying doesn’t matter and don’t let it affect us).
why is your dad like my dad when my dad hears somebody singing a samoan song whitch say tongan BAD words hes like grooving to it and i just hum it in my head because i don't understand togan and im like when i saw this video Me: im dead....
A Tongan girl told me that a lot of Samoan words sound like curse words in Tongan. How common is this? And is this the cause of a lot of animosity between them?
