"Sampelot" is the Kapampangan name for "Ginataang Halo-Halo", that popular Filipino merienda - a mix of glutinous rice balls, kamote, bananas, and langka, cooked in creamy coconut milk. It is very similar to the Visayan "Binignit". We show you our version with a few cooking tips which we hope you will find useful. The video also includes a recipe for "inangit", the usual accompaniment to "sampelot", that is very similar to Thai sticky rice.
