What I did was listening the whole song on the vinyl. That way to get to discover parts you may want to sample. Another gem is, when people are giving away their vinyl records. My collection grew when the parents of a classmate of mine gave me all their vinyl. It was ALOT haha. I prefer doing both. Sample Packs (When done good) and Vinyl are good in my books. I even make beats from scratch. Solid video!

Most of the sample packs are Royalty Free, Im not required to pay the creator anything past the initial payment, no publishing to pay. If I buy a sample pack it better be clearly advised that its not royalty free if there expecting publishing money.

I dont sample from Vinyl because I don't have the space plus I have hundreds of random CDs I might as well sample those first. Samples of classical music are My favourite but I make My own and have for a while.

@theycallmeheat yea. I was kinda feeling a way when I saw they didn't have vinyl.. but I just said to myself check the cd books.. u can tell this was a baby boomers collection.. and it was in prestine condition. Maybe this is my path for now. Lol

Sample packs a lot of times have the same sounds in it from other packs so i avoid that

Depending on where you are getting them. I’m all about quality, so any packs I release or talk about on my channel I believe in or really enjoy myself and wouldn’t share any “recycled” packs.

Well, all good my brother but why would you go 50/50 with a producer who don"t own the rights to the song/sample record from the sample pack?
@theycallmeheat
@theycallmeheat 7 месяцев назад
If you purchase a sample pack, the person who made it owns it. So you should do good biz by doing 50/50 with them

@HOLLASOUNDS 7 месяцев назад
@@theycallmeheat Not if its not stipulated in a terms of use with the correct names of the product. I bought a sample pack from Slavida and its got a turns of use and says about 50 50 slits however its got the wrong name on there. The product name I bought is not used and it says nothing on his website so technically Im not required to pay him anything because the agreement is void because He used the wrong name of the product in the terms and conditions.
