I just got one of these. Say I want to save it as a voice that I can bring up as a user preset? How do I do this? I've been digging but can't find anything?
Hi there. Thank you for the question. It is not straight forward and simple at the same time. First of all, you need to import the samples in SAMPLING and create a user Waveform that you need to save to USB with all the other waveforms you may have. Then you switch to VOICE mode and I would suggest you initialise one of the voices first. Then you create a new instrument using your Waveforms. Once you have completed all the effects, splits and endless parameters tweaking and you are happy with it - save your preset. Once saved, you need to save it to USB with all the voices you have in that bank. Next time you switch you keyboard on - you would have to import Waveform data in order for your voice to sound as expected. If you load a different VOICE bank in between - you would need to re-load the VOICE bank with your voice in it. There could be an easier way of doing it but that is what I ended up doing. Thank you Darren - that is exactly the way. Utility - Control - MIDI - Local > OFF. DO not forget to change it back when what to get the sound of the keyboard :-)

I could easily be wrong but as far as I am aware sampling is the process of recording a sound of any nature and any length and using it in a new production whether as is or modified in any way. It would be nice to learn about your understanding of sampling if you do not mind. Thank you for watching the video
