Recently, I have been working on a lot of CB radios. Mostly because they can be had for a couple of dollars each, they frequently need repair, and they are a very basic AM and/or SSB transceiver. Since they are so simple, it is easy to use them to learn electronics repair.
Last night, I heard that there was going to be a garage sale at the local electronics parts store, which had gone out of business in the spring. I went looking for some spare tips, for my Weller TC202, but I found much, much more. I purchased what might be a complete set, plus some duplicates, of the Sams Photofact CB Radio Series.
Now, I need to sort through them, sell the duplicates, and get to work on some of the radios that I have laying around.
