I liked hearing your review of the fridge. I just got nearly the same one. Mine is a Bespoke model with the interchangeable panels, and no family hub, but same other functions as yours. Mine is also a counter depth, but being that it is 2 cu feet bigger than our previous fridge, feels like more than enough room for us. My draw to the counter-depth was not wanting it to stick out so far into the room, and as a shorter woman with short arms, I can reach the back of the fridge easily. Having the fridge at eye level is so NICE! I didn't want a pull out "cavern" style freezer on the bottom. Knowing me, it would be just dumped full of items, most of which would never be seen again! I was so impressed by the french door style freezer and the pull out shelves and that was a big deal maker for me. The beverage center is going to be really nice to have, but not having it wouldn't have been a hardship. We live in an area with very pure tap water, and I've been drinking water from the sink all my life. When I travel to see my kids who live in AZ or TX, the water is definitely not nice from the tap. Having said that, I know my grandkids will really enjoy the beverage center. Our previous fridge is only 6 years old and works beautifully. We thought about keeping it as a 2nd fridge, but it's just 2 of us now, and we truly don't need that. My daughter and her family will be enjoying it in there home. They will soon have 3 teens, and I am sure they can use the extra food space. I see you have the Duo-Flex range. We got one a few months ago. Ours has electric cooktop though. So far I am really enjoying it!
Thanks for showing. I’ll be going with the black stainless for all 4. I’m torn on the counter depth vs the standard. One gives a cleaner look, but space can be a premium
Also noticed the counter depth hits my wall and countertop so I’m exchanging for the regular size. I also feel like I ran out of room faster in my fridge
We are currently looking at purchased all new appliances and your video made the decision for us. Thanks for putting it together. It was great! Thank you
Thank you for Sharing! My Husband got us the same Samsung Dishwasher and a 29 + cubic feet Fridge for Christmas! The Dishwasher has already been delivered and installed and we are still waiting on the Fridge … scheduled to be delivered in April! I am so excited! The Dishwasher so far is exceptional!!! Love the Quiet functions! It’s so roomy … I can fit so much more in there! So far very Pleased with this product!!! Please do an Update on your appliances functionalities in a couple of Months to share how they are still doing! I am so excited!!!!! Love your Stove but we are electric here and have a electric glass top! Love Gas ranges but not available in this home that we bought a few years ago! Have you seen the new Samsung glass tops? OH My Gosh! They are Awesome!!!! I would like to get the same Microwave you have next Christmas! Keeping my Fingers Crossed! Tee hee. Thank you again for Sharing!!!!!! Jacqueline from Texas!
Yes those glass Cooktops look pretty nice. Hopefully your fridge works out as mine has. These appliances cost a lot of money so we always hope it is money well spent and so far it has been for me. On another note hopefully one day I can migrate to Texas 🙂
I love the sleek look espcially with no handles sticking out. Our fridge is 11 years old and on its last days soon. Our kitchen isn't huge, so my husband and I were looking at new modles with fridges. I saw the newer models amd brands of fridges woth no handles. We saw the samsung and I instantly fell in love. Yes the price can range from $2400-$3000 depending if you can the hub on it. The only thing I am still hesitant is the ice maker. I'm seeing many videos on 10 month "older" samsung models that their ice maker stopped working. My neighbor had her samsumg fridge for 3 years and after 4 months her ice maker stopped working. Of course this is a newer update modle.. So do another video a few months down the road about your fridge to see if your ice maker machine and water filter still are working perfectly. Because this fridge isn't cheap.
Your reasons for looking at this fridge was basically all my reasons. I also was worried about paying so much for my fridge and have the ice maker break. I have owned this fridge for about 8 months and can say I have had zero problems. I actually purchased through best buy so I could have an extended 2 year warranty! The fridge fits great in my smaller kitchen. It's rather spacious even though it has a small footprint. I absolutely love the water pitcher. I know it's only been 8 months but maybe I really should make an update video 🤔.
Oh yes, I love the pitcher of water! At first I thought it was a gimmick but absolutely not. I use it for coffee pot or just filling a glass of water quickly. It also fills up almost instantly when you place it back in its spot. 😊
I've Learned throughout my life to get what you really want if you can afford it but only if you can afford it. You gotta learn be happy with what you can afford today otherwise you will drive yourself crazy.
Thanks a bunch, buddy!! Super awesome review! Your review helped me choose this exact same model for our Kitchen and am going to order it from Costco right now :-) Thanks again. Great job with the review!
You can also connect your smart devices to smartthings on your phone and then use bixby on your watch to control them. I can see that you have all the tools for a bad ass snarthome already. Including the galaxy watch. Anything connected to smartthings on your phone can be controlled by bixby on your watch. Unlock doors, turn on lights, turn on TV "if you have a samsung tv connected to smartthings " etc. All from your watch.
@@T_B_C_L Yeah. I agree. Alexa has eaten up or monopolised the market. Even google can't compete in the home. In the car, yes. But not in the home. People generally complain about monopolies but the consumer makes the monopoly. In the smart home Alexa is the monopoly. This is why I say monopoly is not such a bad thing as People generally dont want to try new things out. As I said it,s the consumer who creates the monopoly. Not the company. For example, a lot of people have bixby at their disposal but since they are already used to Alexa, they stick with Alexa which solidifies alexa,s monopoly status in the smart home, as people use what they are used to and don't really like to try out new things. It,s human nature. So people complaining about monopoly companies don't really get the gist. Humans gravitate to the familiar.
@@lollymanna that's a perfect perspective to the virtual assist situation! Lots of people complain that they want only one assistant whether it's Google or siri or Bixby or Alexa, but what they don't think about is all this competition keeps these companies moving forward. Competition is a great thing!
That rubber piece was already attached when I open the dishwasher. Now there was a small metal plate behind the rubber that attaches with 2 Phillip screws.
Thanks for posting this. I noticed that the fridge top shelf isn't adjustable and I can't find out what the heights are from shelf to shelf. Can you provide that for how you have it now, and if it's not to difficult what it is when you move that middle shelf to the higher position? We usually have some really tall juice containers in our fridge and that shelf where half tucks in isn't going to do it for us.
Hey I was wondering how tall the fridge is because my cabinets are 71.5 and I heard online it's 72. I was wondering if there's anyway you could check that for me thanks so much!
@@T_B_C_L your appliances are very nice. I have a Samsung fridge now but been having issues with the ice machine that’s the only reason looking to replace it. My wife and I are debating on a new Samsung with extra warranty or LG has nice ones as well.
@@T_B_C_L hopefully not but it’s a good idea to buy. I have a Samsung dryer I bought at Best Buy have already used the warranty twice within 3 years once for the mother board and other for rollers
@@Daniel-z2j2v I have a set of maytag front load washer and dryer that I bought from sears like 20 years ago that still work perfect. I did one repair myself replacing a small board that I purchased after a quick Google search revealed what I needed. If and when I have to get another set I will definitely be buying maytag again.
It slides right underneath the top cabinets. Are the cabinets usable.... Well I do have stuff up there but it's more of a storage because you definitely need a step to get to them. Good news is my last standard size fridge was the same if not worse so you should not worry about it to much.
Hey man! Just a question I have a small kitchen and I’ve got 900mm width 1800 height Depth is easily 650-700 Can this fridge fit?? I’m concerned about the width!
Hey thank you so much for this. Wanted to check Your latest update on the refrigerator. Is it working well ? Is the smart hub worth it? any other issues he noticed.
I've had zero issues with the refrigerator. Ice maker has worked perfectly and the water pitcher is a game changer in my opinion. The hub is obviously over top and not essential but the cool factor is 11 out of 10. I loaded up some family pictures and they scroll in a loop which is pretty awesome. The hub has recipes, music and easy access to all of the refrigerator settings. It's been about a year so I can definitely recommend this refrigerator. With look and functionality I just have to give it a 10 out of 10. I do plan on making another video soon with an official 1 year update. Hope this information is helpful!
@@T_B_C_L thanks a lot sir! Happy to see you get full worth of your hard earned money. These ain’t cheap. Looking forward to your new video. Am sure a lot will benefit During this thanksgiving sale.
Planning to get it does it have camaras I have this one RF28T5F01SG/AA it has the family hub and camaras and I want it to have the water inside like this new 4 door fridge.
hey, I have the same fridge as you (SRF9300BFH in Australia) but in matte black. For me the ice bites usually fill up so much that when I attempt to retrieve some ice bites, every now and then, they'll fall off the back of the container (and into the lower level of the freezer). Do you not have such an issue? Samsung support has been utterly useless when I contacted them.
thanks for the reply. Today I was trying the test switch for the ice bites and noticed an arm comes down in the right section of the container. I guess that is the sensor as when I moved some ice out of its way it dispensed some ice but when I put some extra ice under it, it did not dispense ice. So I believe to get it to function as expected, I’ll have to ensure that ice is present on the right side of the container and the level doesn’t go down much there.
Yea no further ice bites have fallen since I moved the ice to the right of the container. However all the older ones below all stick together so it’s difficult to separate them.
@grrahul yea I always dump and clean the old ice out of the bins every time I change the water filter. This helps to keep things running smooth. Glad you figured it out 🙂
Hi! I just purhcased this fride but noticed that it is missing the side panel for the Smarthing temperature control for the Flex drawer. And I see that your's does not have it either, but according to their website it should come with it and I also see people's video showing it, do you have any idea?:)
OK so, I just looked at my owners manual and it doesn't say anything about adjustable drawers. Only compartment that's adjustable is the lower right freezer compartment. Samsung must have different variations of this refrigerator with different features.
I know it's preference but, I prefer this type of water and ice setup vs the outside exposed. In the past I had the outside type. I had an issue with the ice dispensing so I dissembled the cover. I was pretty flabbergasted at the amount of algae that was built up around that entire area. I think because there was a constant room temperature mixing with the moisture it caused this. I could be wrong but I would think the water ice dispensing from a extremely cold environment will help to prevent this.
hey man my house is the same... got eyelashes everywhere....... I own the RF29A9771SG Question on the microwave over the range. Does it have a fan that works like a hood and vent it outside ?
Dude.... I was like what is he talking about... Then I saw the eyelashes.... 😂 🤣 😂. And yes the microwave vents to the outside on my setup. It will do recirculation back into the house or vent to the outside. It comes ready to vent outside, if you want it to recirculate then you have to flip the fans on the back but it looks like it's simple to do.
I have the tray but it didn’t come with a scooper. So I bought one from Samsung and it’s too big….. I wish there was a way you could tell me your part number
@@prettywoman1205 yea, I'm not exactly sure how to align the door. I only see the the mechanism to adjust the door opening distance. Sorry, wish I was more help.
Great video! What I would like to really know about this fridge is: 1 - Can you connect any external speakers via Bluetooth to the fridge, to play music from spotify (on the fridge) via any external bluetooth speakers? 2 - Do the Nest Doorbell and Nest Cameras work with this fridge? I know the fridge has Samsung's SmartThings support, but it has been previously reported by users that the fridge will not prompt with a video feed with notifications when the Nest Doorbell is pressed. Additioanally, as reported, the camera feed will not work on the fridge as well. These are the two questins that are keeping me from buying the fridge at the moment.... and no one online seems to be able to answer any of those.... :(
Well I can't help you with the nest cameras as I only own ring cameras but I can try to connect a blutooth speaker. I'll update you when I get sometime to try it out.
OK so I had sometime today and it seems you are not able to connect an external speaker to the fridge. I will say the speaker on the fridge is actually quite good. Let's just say it was much better than expected when playing all types of music. This was through Amazon music app.
@@BarmanBean just a bunch of haters but it's all good! By the way.... The pitcher is one of my favorite things about this fride seriously. Having a big container of filtered water at hand at all times comes in handy so much. From Making a pot of coffee to filling my dogs water bowl! It refills super fast as well. Also I really appreciate the positive feedback 🍻
How are all the appliances holding up a year later? We ordered the same fridge and also everything else Samsung to match and everyone’s telling us they’re the worst and now we don’t know if we made a mistake 🥲
Well I can't speak on anyone else's experience but my experience has been great. I really haven't had any issues with the refrigerator or any of my other appliances. The only 1 really small complaint I have is some minor wear on one of the knobs on my range. Other than that everything has been about as perfect as it could be. No issues with the ice maker as I know that was a huge issue on these Samsung refrigerators. I've even made a couple of update videos as I felt it would be beneficial for other to hear about my experience over time. Hope this helps!
