What would you buy between Samsung au 7105 or Toshiba QA7D63DG??? PLEASE ANSWER!! I just bought Samsung and LG the last 15 years and I never heard anything about Toshiba except this one I saw good reviews...
I've said it before, but it bares repeating. You really do produce genuinely entertaining and useful reviews. Love that you involve your family, and love your passion for tech and travel. Keep up the great work
43 and 50 inch versions of the Hisense should have better black levels as they come in a VA panel, whereas these bigger ones, 55 inch and above are IPS panels which give better viewing angles, but come at the expense of worse black levels and more blooming
I had Samsung TV and after 2 years it was brocken! Now my hisense TV is working 6 years and it works like at the first Day! So i think hisense do a very well Job! 👍
Looks like it’s not just me whose TV died and we ended up here. I already have the various models of Hisense in my cart, waiting for discount on 7th July. Thank you for this review and comparison
Thanks Tech Giant Family! My TV blew up beyond repair yesterday and this was the exact comparison video I needed, I cant say how much you've helped me with my decision. Definitely subscribing and excited to see whats to come!
Oh well looks like I picked the wrong one then as I had the choice between the two and went for the Samsung. Totally agree with you about the sound it is rubbish and lets the tv down. But looking at the picture quality the Samsung is more natural and not as vivid which makes it easier to watch. Also after reading the reviews the Hisense faired badly on quality which was a big minus point. The smart remote on the Samsung is one of the best around and so nice to use compared to the standard brick format!
You made a good decision. Motion handling and upscaling is better on the Samsungs. Yes picture quality and color saturation may be better on the hisense. All really depends on what you use the tv mostly for. Think the input lag is also better on the Samsungs
@@paulmidgley8040 Downhill in what sense? Clearly you haven’t been reading the reviews of the S95B that are blowing away the LG Oleds in terms of colour and brightness.
@@Neo_Rain146 clearly I haven't. I just go by the tvs I have bought and was going to buy. I own a qled but it still disappoints me they cant see it would be better to put Dolby vision on their sets. As for lg most tvs blow lg tvs out of the water. The nano sets are utter crap anything with an ips panel is crap. The only lg sets that are good are obviously the oled. But hey I'm not an expert I just know what I want in a TV and lately samsung just doesn't do it for me.
Having owned some hisense and tcl in the past I can say they are certainly good bang for the buck. Great image quality and they certainly exceed the Samsungs in some areas BUT I recently bought my first Samsung and something immediately stuck out to me - Motion handling and upscaling is just better on Samsungs. Watching sport is now a pleasure whereas before on my Tcl or hisense there would be noticeable judder. Fast moving scene are smoother. I have the Q70A which I think has a slightly better processor than the Crystal processor on that AU9000 but is in that region now in terms of price so is also a good option.
The sound is great on Samsung smart Tvs you just have to maybe change from standard mode to Amplify mode in volume settings and Tv will sound really good.
The top TV seems to show more vibrance and detail whereas the bottom one is just slightly washed out that you can't see as much detail especially in the ground tiles. Also...is the top TV stabilising?

getting Hisense to upgrade the kitchen tv as my 7 year old lg is giving up and it's extremely blue screen. I don't expect a lot as it won't be the main tv , main one is lg c1 with the full Sonos theater system ;) bought Hisense 50inch for 309 new so very cheap now
Hello Mr. Tech Giant. I'm after the A7G myslef, but since I'm more budget limited, I'm thinking of going with the 43". Now, since you're comparing the 65" variants of these two models, I believe you're comparing a VA (Samsung) with an IPS (Hisense). Given that the 43" A7G is a VA, do you think that the difference in the black levels would be reduced?
Great video!. What would you say about Q80t vs this Hisense regarding SDR an black levels? There are bargains with the q80t currently. Thanks for sharing
have you tested the hisense U8GQ? can get for similar price and dont know if it is superior to the A7G, all other comparison videos are for the US model U8G which i think is different from UK U8GQ
DO NOT buy a Hisense, even if the picture/sound quality is a little better, TV will pack up sooner than a branded one and if you're unlucky enough, like I was, to have a broken 10 month old Hisense, brace yourself when you have to deal with Hisense Support... Over a month and a half later, I managed somehow to get my money back. Always buy big brands, you know what they say, buy cheap, buy twice :)
My friend bought 2 LG OLED $4000 broken upon arrival , from Bestbuy too. They swabbed twice. My 2 Hiesnse panels (FLAGship Panel , not cheap) doing so good I just bought 3rd one flagship 75” . Solid.
Yeah thats what i thought and bought a samsung with 2year waranty and after 2 years and 2 month the displey just stop working, now i bought a hisense 55E7H with 5 year warranty, will see if i made a mistake again 😁
The saying goes, "You pay for what you get" but I think Hisense AND TCL are both upcoming competitors although Hisense has proven themselves with their more top end TVs. Also you can't find Dolby vision in these other TVs in this price range. Thanks!
Hisense really delivers. 1:45, the pale floor brick…hisense has Soo much detail. Samsung just 1 white chunk. The white umbrella to d left , hisense 3D, Samsung chunky. D blue sky, Hisense u can see depth, samsung just white mush. D white tent, hisense has 3D feel, Samsung looks flat. Both look good tho. Just Hisense has clear advantage.
Friend, please help! I have a problem. A couple of days ago I bought a TV HISENSE 55 A7GQ. Excellent design and workmanship. General ... sound and picture top. Picture directly over the net on clips in 4K and 8K resolution perfect as well as over HDMI input where is connected to the computer. In both modes it gives me normal picture settings, but through the HDMI input which is conected TV BOX it only gives me picture settings in HDR variant ... where HDR cannot be deactivated (so picture modes are only with HDR)!!! So I can't set the picture on the TV channel to be normal...because HDR it either shines white or red or something else! I tried all possible settings, but nothing turns out quite right! On one occasion yesterday I turned it off tv ... and soon turned it on again ... and the picture on the channels was great! Then I go into the picture settings and watch miraculously there are normal settings without HDR modes! So I was hoping the problem was finally solved! But when i before going to bed turned off TV and turned it on in the morning ... when I have something to see! Picture again on TV chanells again in HDR mode ... I go in to check the settings and there again the picture settings with HDR !!! What to do and do you have a solution ?? ?Thanks in advance...
Unfortunately I do t have the TV anymore for me to take a look at the settings. And this being the first Hisense that I've ever tested, I'm not overly familiar with the settings. One thing that might be worth checking is to see if the TV is set to Home mode and not retail / store mode.
Well comparing a UHD vs a qled tv that closely compares like this shows something to samsung a qled should always beat out a uhd but a good margin the samsung does a great job by default and if you mess with the settings you can make it even better yes the hisense tv is technically better but the reason why im stick with the big brands is due to how long they last before you have to buy a new one the hisense and other budget tvs won’t last as long unfortunately
The A7g is beautiful with bright and colorful scenes but a terrible tv when the scenes are darker, its gray and there is extreme blooming on all the corners
Yeah the blacks levels are a bit of a disappointment. But at this price point there is always going to be trade offs. So it really boils down to what areas you are willing to put up with those sacrifices.
@@TheTechGiantRU-vid I need your expert opinion on a predicament Im in, I have LG 86QNED996 got it two weeks ago. The back light dims and brigthens om certains scenes randomly as if backlight algorithm is confused then black scenes look incredibly fuzzy and patchy. What do you suggest? Shall I keep the TV pr replace it with a differnt make and model? My budget is £4k ish. Do you think my LG is faulty or is it normal? I have 10 more days for a return window of 28 days. Please help.
Depends if you get 55 and above its the terrible ips panels 50 is va and the blacks are absolutely fine. You need to mess about with setting but once you get there it's a great set.
I'm looking at the samsung and atm can get the 50inch model for £360 should I bite the bullet and just order it ? Its mainly for tv watching but also my main TV for using my ps5
@@TheTechGiantRU-vid Hello... my living room is illuminated by natural light, obviously when I lower the blinds the natural light of the day enters... which of these two televisions do you recommend for that environment? and at the same time I also want it to play... thank you very much and congratulations for such a good job that you do
Hey dude bin watching your vids about au 9000 im thinking of getting 50 inch tomorrow 380£ brand new ive got 450 £ to spend u knw of any tvs to look at whats better than the au 9000 forgaming on next gen xbox thanks in advance buddy keep up the gd reviws 👍
If I'm being honest, I've limited experience with TV's in this price bracket, so I can't really say. But I would say either of these TV's are major flops when it comes to gaming. The AU9000 certainly has some good gaming features, such as the game bar. I have gaming test videos coming up for both TV's and both with the Xbox Series X and PS5 🙂
@@allstarbury cheers bud ive checked every shop online there no tvs with hdmi 2.1 for 450£ price range the au9000 best ive seen at 4k 60hz or 1080p at 120 hz also its got lo input lag
@@TheTechGiantRU-vid ok cheers pal when u do the vid if possiblecould u show fps on au 9000 ide like to c difference between 1080p 120 hz and 4k 60 hz or your opinion on it as we cant realy c diffrence i assume via watching on youtube 👌
Not sure if it's the camera not picking it up (doubt it) but I'm every shot the hisense has wayyyy more detail. Look at the pavements and the sea waves. Well anything really, they're a blurry mess on the Samsung.
never buy these cheaper brands no matter what these youtubers say.. only go for sony, samsung or lg.. telling from my and friend's experience.. even the after sales service matters alot
It’s a bit more standyouty that’s a new tech term 😂🤦♂️🤦♂️💨 brilliant Cheaper qled looks more appealing the processor on the Samsung seems to run smoother
Great comparison! Cant Wait until you see the s95b you will shit yourself haha. Excuse my language but its so true! Finally the first tv to cover 90 percent of bt2020 the highest we have right now is like 70 percent that's a massive massive difference. It has an even wider Valor gamut also. It hit 1500 nits in 1 and 2 percent windows even when in ita most accurate mode and it hit 1k nits at 10percent snd finally over 200nits full field. It's crazy because whne watching it seems like a massive leap when it comes to real content. It feels like an led with oled blacks and richness lol.
@@SteveSmith-cm1hx no he's going to get one to test. I said I can't wait for him to get one as he does content snd shows tvs lol. He will get one from his shop and he will be able to use it and compare with other tvs. This isn't about him buying a tv it's about him seeing something new that's very impressive.
@@reviewforthetube6485 I'm pretty sure he was just being funny LOL. I can totally get your excitement over the new QD Oled tho LOL. I'm still excited over my X95J every day & so thankful.
Samsung is losing every year in their mid range and lower TVs to other TV manufacturers.. they literally just call their TVs different names every year.. without change in picture quality,. just selling features
It built in China! people think capitalism doesn't lower prices of course it does not left socialism . Chinese TV come along way so I paid $500 less than a Samsung
Government invention left socialism has never help consumers wallet and this show , hisense is on par with Samsung picture quality & sound for a cheaper price
have you tested the hisense U8GQ? can get for similar price and dont know if it is superior to the A7G, all other comparison videos are for the US model U8G which i think is different from UK U8GQ
u8 is better also more expensive, it has local dimming so it will give out depper blacks but its pretty much the same in bright images, it also has 120hz refresh rate
@@valdrinrexhepi2244 i WATCHED this video on my Hisense U8G 65" lol . u are right. ..i see so much details on my TV..its Amazing with 360 Local dimming. I think the 2023 model coming to UK U8K ....will have 1000 Local Dimming, Xchip, Subwofer in tv wohoo! Save up! I am getting 1 in 75". THEY ARE AMAZING !
