Moto on the right track with such a future is enabled in budget mobile.

Dex is super useful. I use my galaxy tab S7 as laptop replacement with mouse and keyboard. I got a USB hub for it specifically, and never regret my decision. Better than any chromebook ever.

Expected a few features but never knew both of these options have so much baked into it. For a dex or Readyfor user this video will be very useful. 👍

In pc, the dex is slow, but once you use electric dock and display monitor then the speed is just like windows

Good to see Moto coming with such feature. Does Ready For work with Chromecast? Samsung Dex works only with Miracast in wireless mode so no compatibility with Google TV or Android TV. That means it can be used only with TizenOS, WebOS and FireTV operating system based TVs.

Hey! I wanted to ask about docking stations. If you use one - Aren't you worried about overcharging the battery/shortening its life? Since it's charging constantly. Or about connecting your phone to an external monitor (on daily basis). I found no workaround for this issue saldy and want to use an external monitor that has OLED touchscreen. Couldn't find anything that had a battery (monitors with batteries), OLED and a price that is not something bad completely. I was thinking about Magedok 13,3 fullhd OLED touchscreen. Close enough to Asus zenscreen OLED 13,3 (can't get the later in my country for a long time from now still). I have some questions, maybe you can help. 1. Firstly, Does plugging the power source (to the monitor) stop phone battery drainage? Does it even slow it? I watched reviews, but all they say is that plugging the monitor I can just boost the brightness. So I'm worried it would still consume my phone's battery even when I connect my monitor to energy source (using it's charger). 2. Secondly, if instead the phone is ALSO CHARGED when monitor uses its own charger - Is there any way for me to stop charging my phone when it's not needed? Having the phone charging constantly is very destructive for the battery in smartphones (I had one exploding in the past from being charged too often). 3. If it's not possible to stop charging the phone (when monitor is charging with its own charger) - Can I disconnect the charger from monitor and run the monitor using my phone only (with my phone's battery as the only energy source)? Then I could simply drain the battery to the moment where charging is okay once more (and connect monitor to its charger again). 4. Here I'm worried that 4k OLED could have a bigger energy consumption and won't run with my phone without plugging the monitor into its charger, as I'm interested in either their fullhd or 4k option (I use it pretty close to my face and do very detilaed work so even with small screen it still matters to me). To make your task easier - My phone is Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. It has battery 4500 mAh (if this info helps you with anything). Thanks

@GyanTherapy I have used both, but I find Motorola READY FOR far more better. I feel Samsung is not working on improvising DEX

I have a moto edge 30 and I use it regularly with TV, I have a smart TV but Ready For makes it heck of a lot smarter.

Dex is great. Been using it wired on my 27 inch monitor. It works flawlessly and of course there is no lag what so ever in a wired connection

DEX is more refined since it is a bit old, while ReadyFor released just last year. But i like ReadyFor because it is available even on a Rs. 22k phone, while DEX is only on premium phones. Both are very much similar in terms of functionality. Thanks for the video Rakesh bro
