You are spot on about the auto brightness, weight distribution and battery life. I moved back to samsung after nearly 3 years. Experimented with moto g5s+ and Nokia 6.1+ and I must say I am happy with the homecoming. I have used galaxy before Samsung j5... and I am really happy with this model.

I'm thinking of getting this phone. I've few queries which I request you to answer: 1. How strongly it catches network signal & 4G data signal as compared to my current moto g4+? 2. Does it heat up during charging, call, internet usage? 3. If you speak about call quality, noise cancellation, cache slowdown, gallery app which we use to store images etc it'll be useful. 4. Is it dual 4G sim phone? 5. Does it need tempered glass for protection or a screen guard would be good? Thanks Harsh

Display Is Really Awesome. Good Thing Is That One UI Is There. Agree With You 4000mAh Battery Is There So Battery Backup Will Be Awesome For Sure. Fast Charging Is Also There Which Is Good. In Display Fingerprint Scanner Is Not So Fast Though But Almost Accurate.

I much prefer the ''punch hole''cameras on the s10 it looks alot better than any type of notch. plus the hole punch cameras are innovative and will probably lead to the cameras being hidden under the screen somehow, so you only see the lenses when you put the phone in camera mode.

I am a A50 user. But i didnt got any screen freezing issues in call. May be its ur unit's bug.

Hey Ranjith, Yesterday I got a specific Biometric update from Samsung. Now Fingerprint Sensor is Fast and accurate like my other mobile Redmi K20 pro. You can remove this from Cons.

*Those who are complaining why only 360p... because when you upload video it takes 20 minutes to go from 144p to 1080p*

Hi Ranjeet, in the video, you have mentioned that the screen freezes when device is in use and we get a call, this issue i have also noticed which i think need to be fixed. It will be helpful if you can inform about this bug to samsung folks and we get a fix in future updates.

Watching it on my a50.. best phone in the 20k segment by Samsung..feels like a premium phone with the display and amazing battery, even the cameras are good enough and you even get fast charging and the performance is also very Good..only the fingerprint sensor was slow initially but with the software update it has improved.. best phone launched by Samsung after so long in the mid range

I faced the same bug in my galaxy s6 edge and i just did a refresh network under the settings and its fixed for good

I'm using 6gb variant of a50 i agree with all the pros But about cons i agree with the call freezing problem ( hope it will get fixed soon ), haven't came across other cons, one more thing if you're using tampered glass fingerprint sensor will be bugged a bit more i don't know with other but I've felt that error, considering there two cons apart I'm really loving this phone and in my version ringtone volume and call volume both are loud

Using my A50 since 20days now...it's the best phone I ever used...Redmi is cheap for a reason n now I get why it's cheap...🙂 If u r looking for a phone around 18k...go for this one guys...Don't just follow the crowd who have nothing better to do than play Pubg on their phones...😅😅

The call freeze bug happens due to ambient light sensor not working properly or having some issue. run a hardware diagnose test on it you'll find the result. Same thing happened with my friend's Redmi Note 5 Pro so have a rough idea about it.

Got Android 10 update on this phone few days back. 😎.. Overall a good phone with premium look and feel.

Hi... I'm using the 6gb variant since around 20 days. There are lot of pros in this phone, but I faced two major issues which I wanted to highlight here. 1. The screen got froze for around half an hour last day and I was unable to attend any call or swipe to unlock the phone or switch off or restart the phone either. The service centre person restarted the phone by pressing volume down and power button together and informed me that the problem could be because of any software glitch. 2. Bixby pops up while using other apps, like when playing videos.

Got a software update yesterday (29/07/2019) and the WiFi Connectivity issue including the 5Ghz range issue STANDS RESOLVED. Just here to say that the 5Ghz and general WiFi connectivity issue shared by this video was the only thing that worried me before purchase. AND ONLY GEEKYRANJIT NOTICED THIS ISSUE. GO AHEAD WITH THE MOBILE PURCHASE! Apart from the 1 day only battery FOR EXTREME USERS, this is an amazing phone. The display is 😍😍 and everything else about it. Hope this helps.

Hello sir, I've been using the OnePlus 3 for 3 years now and I wanna switch to a decent mid-range phone below 20k. As I'm coming from a super AMOLED display phone, I will continue using sAMOLED phones only. And Samsung's the one to offer best quality sAMOLED panels. So, as I've come across so much positive reviews for this phone should I go for this or opt for the realme X ?

Samsung (hangsung) will show its lagging issues only after 1 year not yet .

I do have A50 but I have never noticed call receptn/ screen freezing issue. Also you can disable lock screen stories anytime in settings .

Hello Ranjit, Could you please make a short video( if time permits) comparing the processors( keen to know about Snapdragon and Exynos) which are currently available in the market? Would really love to know which processors age well. Which processor is most affected in terms of performance with time ( i mean after an year or two) as i have seen most phones lasting about an year and a half with my regular usage( majorly watching videos and calling, i don't play any games). A50. The top camera is 8Mp wide lens no auto focus, mid camera is 25Mp auto focus lens, the camera switches between these two when you want to take pictures and video but it can be set. With the 25Mp camera you can choose whether it should be in 8Mp, 12Mp, 16Mp or 25Mp in the ratio at the top menu. the bottom camera is 5Mp maybe it is for low light I did not make it work in settings. There is no stabilizer in photo only in video mode I have discovered but you can probably buy an photo app that has it, My screen projector was taken off two days after because the phone did not work and did strange things, wasted money, buy a cover there can be closed. The phone is large so you have to have large pockets. The phone is fast for daily use and the processor keeps minimal power consumption and is quick to charge the battery. The phone is ok for the price.
