@@mbillah8091 I have it and honestly I have mixed feelings about it. It charges the battery from 0% to 100% in like an hour or less, but it also runs out faster than other phones that I've had. This phone has about 128GB, I still have 100GBs left and I'm worried, that it will drain my phones battery very quickly, If I have to use more GB's.
@ceylani Bruh it doesn't mean his humor is whack or bad bc that had nothing to do with humor. The dude was talking about how it sounds BAD. and besides, it does sound bad. you must be living under a rock...
Just bought this camera today in order to upgrade my old S6. I was worried about comments elsewhere, but I think this camera will be just fine for me. Thank you!
@@AshTheDuke personally iPhones are way too expensive for me so if you need and low budget phone that will give you great pics and take you all day long .. then yes
I've had the Galaxy A51 since May 2020, no problems at all , I'm just a basic photographer but are pleased with the quality etc. A good priced phone, down the track I'll upgrade to the A53 or whatever comes out next, Cheers.
I have the Samsung Galaxy A20 right now. Best phone I have ever had in my life so far. I don't upgrade very often but I'm upgrading to this phone tommorow!
I have this phone as as an alternative to my iPhone 12 Pro. While performance isn't as tight, I only paid 1/4th the price for this than I did my iPhone. The camera leaves something to be desired, especially in low light situations. I find the switching from one camera to another to be annoying. The iPhone can change cameras seamlessly where as as you pinch out or in, there's a noticable delay from camera to camera. The one feature about this phone that really stands out is the AMOLED display. I like the in-glass finger print sensor. It works quite well. Shows a nice bright green to let you know if your finger needs to be lined up. As for the speaker, it is very tinny yet does pack some volume. As for the feel of it, feels great in my hand. The plastic does feel satisfying for plastic. Phone feels solid. Upgrade potential is good. It is expected to get 3 generations of Android upgrades, so this phone should cover you up to Android 13. As for the phone itself, I can't say much about that since I only ever had the SIM card installed to do the initial set up. Speed on this phone is overall decent, however at points, the phone does hang for 2-3 seconds for certain things. Apps do load fairly quickly. I think the phone does pack value. If you look around and be patient, you can get it on sale with a nice discount.
This phone will sell well here in the UK. I would change the macro lens to a 3x telephoto lens with at least 8 - 12 mp sensor. Update the camera software to fix the issues you mentioned, then it would be perfect. I am currently using a S8 and it works well, even with the single camera. Then there is the A71 which would be my go to. I like that the A series are dual sim, so I can have one phone instead of two plus the microSD storage expansion. The Chinese rivals are tempting, but i need to know about them more. I have heard that the Chinese phones have ad's to keep the price down, unlike the Samsung's.
Those ads on Chinese phones comein their pre installed apps. Xiaomi tried displaying ads on ui but after furious backlash from the community, they moved ads to apps only, but you can always uninstall those apps.
@Nuno Filipe ive had it ... f.e. in all the animations not huge but clearly to notice like many and i mean MANY micro lags and THATS annoying...only gonna get worse in the future...
Hi, thanks for all the great reviews. Somehow you always cover everything I'd actually have questions about. Can You recommend a budget phone with camera good enough to take product photos (need photos for my e-shop)?
tbh the a5 2017 was one of the better A series phone. it had an ip rating, less cameras but its single was pretty good. and the battery was awesome. would still be using it if i hadnt dropped it from my f'ing roof
Just got my hands on a factory unlocked version of this and am enjoying having a phone I don't have to get rid of if I change carriers. Also, the cameras are nice. they do a good all-round job, but I will still carry a dedicated digital rig for my more serious work :) Aside from this, I do love the snappy speed and response time this gives me when doing everyday work and using apps. Not a bad everyday driver.
@@sentimentaloldme because that's not the point. They have the main camera. Then there are other cameras that are specialized in other thinks (e.g. telephoto). If you don't know anything about it at least do your research or don't call it a scam.
I just bought this phone today from Amazon due to watching your videos on it. Could you tell me if the phone came with a pre fitted screen protector? A lot of American sites say they do but not sure about uk version. Your help would be appreciated as I need to know whether to purchase the separately. Cheers, love the vids you do to there very informative 👍
Xperia is good. After a few years battery goes bad. I had one. It was xperia m2 and i decided to try sell after 1 yr of use and no one wanted cause it was so bad
Looooool the emoji app did you DIRTY! Anyway, cheers for the detailed review. I'm trying to find the best android phone under £300 at present, and this looks to be a good contender. Other people commenting seem to be happy with it, after all. Never had Samsung before though, so it makes me hesitate.
My Samsung S8 has been a dream, but thinking of upgrading without breaking the bank. Like the look of the A71, but the A51 has an ip rating and is cheaper.....what to do? Either way, Samsung is good.
Take A51. A51 has a Super amoled screen resolution. Better picture and video clarity/resolution compare to IPS Lcd of Nova5t. Super Amoled screen also helps clarity of taken pictures.
@@jamesguy3428 Thanks for the advice, but I have bought the Nova 5t and I don't regret. As far as image quality goes you are wrong! Display technology does not have any relation with the image quality! It's the same if you say that DSLR or Mirrorless cameras take worse pictures than any smartphone because their screens are 3.5" LCD. As for the LCD vs AMOLED technology goes, I also prefer AMOLED, but this LCD is very high quality screen, as many reviewers said, it's an iPhone level LCD. And as someone coming from a Galaxy S7 edge I can tell you that after 24h I didn't miss the old AMOLED.
Tbh that front facing video is freaking incredible lol. That looked better than anything before it. Problem is whenever I look up the specs for this phone it says front facing camera goes up to 1080p... Not 4K.
Ram mean to take files size to how much you open without close. Example if your phone is 4gb Your speed is works the same when you open play pubg. You open like 12 apps then it slow it down. Cause you open to much apps that pass 4gb. Ram doesn't do any game provmenr it's to how much you open files. You can reset ram each time it slow down in the setting. What makes your game run incredible fast is finding the best processor speed GHz clock core.
How come you haven't reviewed the A71. I got one about a week ago for £16/month (just for the phone) with Sky. It's a really good device. Don't really see any performance issues.
Bro, is the Apple Pro the best for video though? Am using the Mate 20 Pro and the P20 Pro with Filmic, but am really getting irritated with Androids quips when it comes to video. Even in Pro mode, I'm finding an older iPhone 7 to shoot better video.
Do you know why can't I lock exposure and focus, when trying to record a video with the wide angle camera? And can I do that (lock AF and AE) on a samsung device that has pro video? Thank you!
Which one is better Between Motorola One Zoom vs Samsung A51. I am very confused between these two. Can you help me with this? I don't have any option for hands-on experience due to the COVID-19 situation here. I will be very glad If you help me with it. The price difference is around $35$
I’m an Apple sheep and I’ve used apple products since 2012, recently I’ve been having storage problems with my phone. My iPhone has a storage limit of 32GB, and I have hardly any apps because I’ve had to delete some apps due to my storage, I had a look of what’s taking up most of my storage... IT’S THE OTHER CATEGORY AND IT’S TAKING UP 25GB, it’s a category based on all my phones needs, so basically Apple is putting more storage onto my phone to make me buy their new products. It’s disgusting, so I’m actually thinking about switching to Samsung for a while. Needless to say I’m on a budget, this phone is perfect.
@@anasfasahat4347 sadly no. I have both 7 plus and a51. Image quality and colour is much realistic and better on the 7 plus. However, I like the macro and wide angle. And with good lighting the pics from a51 is not bad. But selfie camera is not very good, and no optical zoom or anything on the a51.
this phone has a problem that no one is talking about, bluetooth connectivity. whenever you play music over a bluetooth device tthere's a lot of stuttering, and cutting outt every soo often and it's really annoying. Can you addresss this issue, please.
@@thedistance1155 maybe you are trash. I had a previous device and it worked perfectly well with my bluetooth devices. But the moment i got this phone and connectec it to the same bluetooth speaker, the first thing i notice is the stuttering.
