Its funny that the price of SE is (exactly) double how much you pay for an A51 in my country :)))

In Spain: A51: 128gb version around 300€(but can be found cheaper) SE 128gb: 540€

Good comparison, although I'm pretty sure the Galaxy A51 is selling for much less than $399 right now. More like $280-$300. In fact the Galaxy S10e 128GB can now be found for $450-ish on Amazon.

Galaxy A51 is nowhere near $400. Yes it retailed for that price in December 2019 but it can be found for $275 in the US or even less depending where you look. The larger these youtube channels get, the less informational and accurate they seem to be.

I rewatched the beginning of the video and I thought the audio recorded sounds WAY better on the samsung.

Tells you 1 thing, Apple is over priced, can be made cheaper

I think you should compare this with A71 instead. Because A51 is less than $400.

it's so refreshing to watch a camera review from the straight go, kudos for the simplicity and creativity... most reviewers make long intros and talk about obvious things most of their videos.

Wow, I was quite impress with A51 photos, the video is the major point for Apple here.

some of the comments on here is part of the reason why some reviewers tend to shy away from giving their honest opinion about these things.

Pro Tip: There is a dedicated button on A51 when you are in video mode. That button is located on the top and it is for stability. It works amazing and the difference is huge compared to the normal video mode.

Sadly, here in Brazil, the iPhone SE launched with the price of 2 A51's.

The 4K video stabilization is such a major feature that it would be a deal breaker for me if a phone didn't have it. Other than that, I'd say the images are a toss up.

A51 definitely has a better selfie camera

Here in India Samsung A51 around Rs 24000 i.e $320. And iPhone SE is around Rs45000 i.e $600 around.

Depends on what you want to do but that macro and ultrawide camera settings is good. 1080p OIS is good enough for cellphone viewing.

Nice video you made . I bought my A51 dual which has 4 GB Ram and 128 internal storage plus a memory card slot $300 early February in my country ( Cameroon) and I much appreciate what the phone does.

I'm no apple guy and I always prefer android for flexibility and functionality, but I always liked how apple's software renders better photos with inferior hardware than android with better hardware and so much enhancements that make photos look bad

i'll go with the Galaxy A51 because it's cheaper than the iPhone SE and versatile with 4 cameras for the video i don't take that much videos but i'll have different modes like the night shots and the macro shots ...etc

I would give this round for Apple in terms of camera. This lady is the only one I trust in CNET for reviews and comparison. Definitely she's not in the Apple cult like the others.

Had the A51 for a week now ,really like it , not an iphone fan at all.

The A51 sells for much less than the iPhone SE in every country both phones are sold; the proper $400 Galaxy to compare to the SE is the 10e, which is now selling for close to the SE everywhere I checked.

The iPhone SE would have been an amazing buy if it had good battery life but unfortunately, the battery inside is tiny.

A51 has versitile camera, but for hdr in front and raer photos, portrait, se is way better and for video recording A51 is no match its not even close ,

Really it comes down to personal preferance.I like photos that come out of A51 but the videos are waay better on the iphone.

In EU A51 costs almost 2 times less,then SE. Infact, in Russia it costs 2.3 times less. Does in US it cost 400$ and more, really? You can buy S10 in EU for the price of SE (~500€).

Good comparison..I have the iPhone SE 2020 and I think it’s a great deal for the price. I also think that the the size is also a key feature between the phones. The iPhone being compact, is a plus. The battery life, in my opinion, is the one thing against the iPhone. Otherwise a great all around phone.
