Bought this phone a few days ago and so good so far. Not lagging for me or any problems. 2hrs worth of calls, plenty of RU-vid and net surfing today and 12hrs later battery is at 70%
Just bought this phone. Great phone so far, I was worried about lag compared to the S10 it replaced but honestly it is pretty quick. Got it unlocked for $299 with trade-in from Samsung, also came with free choice of Samsung Buds2 or Buds Live. I chose the Buds2 because they fit and sound better. Overall the best feature on this phone is the FHD+ display at 120 hz, not many midrange phones in the U.S. that can compare to the quality of it.
You should try to reduce the animations in the developers menu for a snappier feel..I also think that the cpu is quite new and samsung will improve it a bit with some updates..Believe it or not i'm still rocking a galaxy s6 edge+ and the phone is totally usable and stable like a rock.
I love my s22. I got it for 350(256gb) model with no trade in. I got a golden unit though because my s22 gets 9 hours of battery life on wifi and 7 on mobile data
It'll probably do well in the US market, where there's a woeful lack of midrange competition. Elsewhere in the world there are any number of devices that give you far more bang for your buck
I love they were talking about this comparison I will say luxury brands do look nicer but in terms of longevity functionality and just overall experience economy brands are pretty much killing luxury brands. Once you get over the fact that you just spent $50,000 on this thing and you actually look at what the thing offers it actually don't offer more than a Camry! In most situations the luxury brand actually offers less and performs worse than the economy brands.
Samsung made this phone. While they make luxury phones, they just plain and simple make good phones. I am not sure I'd refer to it as an "economy" brand.
Good review! The camera lag you showcased would be a deal breaker for me, it was worse then my 4 year old midranger. Other reviewers have had different results with performance, do you think some updates could fix some of the lags?
I'm sure for regular usage this device will probably be just fine. All of the reviews though kind of point to the Exynos processor being a huge bottleneck to this phone.
I used it with both 15w Samsung charger and then went ahead and brought Samsung 25w charger but charging time is more or less in Galaxy A53 with either of them. Looks like Samsung playing it little too safe.
But this is pretty much why I scoff at people saying the 13 pro Max kills every phone in battery I don't necessarily think it does when my battery literally lasts me all day and some of the next day and on top of that my phone charges faster on Android I don't think anybody has battery anxiety on Android anymore no matter what phone they have but what I do know is I'm not spending $1,300 on a phone just so my phone last all day iPhone users need to do better that is a sad stat to be talking about!
That's also another bad take from the internet the iPhone SE literally is so below the bar when it comes to mid-range Android phones the fact that people are saying that the iPhone SE compares to most Androids is a flat out lie the iPhone SE is an abomination it is a child's toy it shouldn't even be considered a phone, that thing cannot last somebody to lunch time I do not understand why people are recommending that phone to anyone the internet is so sad!
This phone is slow in terms of 5G connection There is a problem as well with using a different charger, sincer super charge only works with Samsung's PD 25w charger.
Make sure u have the 6gb selected. It out of the box only has the 4gb enabled. U go to device care memory click on it select 6gb. It helps with speed. And install nova launcher use it. Use Gboard over Samsung keyboard. Use Google messenger instead Samsung's. All this should make the phone almost feel fluid. Also use chrome or any other browser over Samsung's browsers. It should make the phone fast. It seems Samsung software apps and such are not very well optimized at all on this device and cause issues.
but not a Samsung.... For me Samsung has proven their reliability and software support in the long term. I am still rockin' 2 S9+ phones and they have worked extremely hard since day one. Same with S6 that I used before that. I just won't risk it with any other brand at this point.
I don't know but I heard the A52s has 5G problems here in the US, that would be far worse than a slower chip..you can't buy them from any carrier here anyway they only have the A52.
Depends on use case, A53 has a larger battery and will get 2 more major android versions. A52s has (at least according to most reviews) a better processor and a headphone jack.
@@K0lii Yes, the rumours are true .. minor stutters here and there , really minor ones, but not anything major that ruins the midrange experience ... When it comes to games is where you see it obvious that the exynos 1280 is barely keeping up ... I also have the a52s and yes, the SD778G is smoooother to everything compared to the exynos1280 ... But if you ain't a gamer, the A53 battery life is quite stellar
@@K0lii the A53 is the successor of the A52 and the A52 5G, the successor of the A52s will be, eventually if it exists, the A53s, and the system lags are fixed with the updates, my A52 (4G) is much better with One UI 4.1, without lags and much more optimized than One UI 4.0 which still had some bugs and had some very annoying lags in the notification bar and in multitasking and One UI 4.1 fixed this and is currently flawless
I got my own piece 3 days back. Feeling stutter here and there. Mainly in camera app and Instagram reels. Really hope they make this smooth after updates. I don't play games so want better battery life. In device care it shows 10hr of battery left for me, isn't it less?
Redmi Note 10 Pro does not have the same panel as S21's panel, even though they are 120Hz Amoled, S21 has hdr10+ and higher brightness. I guess you could say Swq's display is slightly better
The A53 is not a very compelling Mid-Ranger compared to the IPhone SE 2, and A33. The IPhone SE 2 has a Flagship Processor, Flagship Software, and Flagship Camera Quality and Software. The A33 Costs Less than the A53 and yet has the same Exynos Chipset
I'm waiting for the pixel 6A there is no phone in the market that brings value more than that phone. The fingerprint scanner is going to be flawless just like on the pixel 6 I know this because unlike 90% of people on the internet I actually use the pixel 6 pro and the fingerprint scanner is actually pretty fast so I can't wait for the 6A that phone is literally going to kick everybody in the face! And also zero bugs because we all know no pixel has bugs. Only RU-vidrs like MKBHD lying just so Apple don't lose market share!
its a garbage of phone, overpriced one!! it costs 20-30% more then a52s and it have weaker chipsets and some other things too and vs xiaomi mi11T/pro are simply joke and now comes pocof4GT which have chipsets on the level of 1500$ phones
@@parshakamarsh S21 FE same battery, same fingerprint scanner, same display, same cameras, as the S20 FE. Not much of an improvement over the previous generation especially with the loss of the MicroSD slot. The A53 has a MicroSD slot and a 5000mah battery capacity.
