What are you talking about? This phone is getting 4 full android updates. A quick Google search will reveal that. 5 years of security patches. I think this is a great phone for even $400. I got mine on special for $200. A great deal! I plan on this being my daily driver for at least 4 years, if not 5.
@@TechTitan1those are Chinese companies! They don't care about software and security updates! This phone will get 4 years os updates and 5 years security updates! Before posting stuff, make sure you clearly know what you're saying. Smh!🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@TechTitan1Are you ignorant of Samsung or what? You are a tech channel. Literally 1-Apple, 2-Google and the 3rd most popular brand for updates is Samsung even A05S has 2 years of android and 4 years of security updates
Just got my s23 fe recently moving up from z fold 3 makes me feel good that my phone will continue to work well considering the a54 is considered 1 step below
I got the Samsung Galaxy a54 fully unlocked brand new on sale in August 2023 for $350 plus taxes was $370 for the phone. It's an great phone but as far as camera the fully unlocked Pixel 7a I used to have has alot better camera quality but the signal /reception sucked like crazy that's why I got rid of the Pixel 7a and bought the Samsung Galaxy a54 for the better signal/reception. Going to replace the Samsung Galaxy a54 very soon with another phone that has the snapdragon processer because that processer is best/superior for signal/reception in a phone where I live and the areas I travel to work, home, stores, etc. Great video!!!
Sounds like the s23 FE would be perfect for you. It's literally an a54 but with a way more powerful snapdragon processor and much better cameras. I'm pretty sure the screen quality is even better and brighter too. I'm getting ready to upgrade from a54 to an s23 fe myself so I can run better mobile gaming
i watched some reviews of you and i must say i am always amazed about how little informed you are. samsung has an update policy for a while now with 5 years security updates and 4 years OS updates. until the new pixel came out with garanteed 7 years, they were the best on the android market updatewise. and the A 5X series is the most important for samsung - so OF COURSE the A54 will get the garanteed updates! how can you make a video on a samsung phone not knowing this?
@subgivtara let’s be clear I did use the phone and the sides I haven’t peeled them because I like to keep them to protect the phone goofy get your facts before making an accusation
A54 is a nice midrange device. Have it for a month i'm happy with my choice. It has much better battery life than my Xiaomi and much more polished UI. Performance is smooth and flawless for a light user
7 month of use? And this device looks like it just came out of the box, even the homescreen is the out of box experience? Do you think your viewers will fall for that?
I have been using my S9+ for going on 6 years now. Heavy use. The screen is still absolutely like new. Beautiful. I bought this A 54 because the battery in the S9 is only lasting about 4 hours before needing another charge when gaming. It lasts much longer without that. Otherwise that old flagship is working great. I like this phone fine..paid 349.00 US for it..
When you said it has heating issue, can you tell us how do you use this phone? Do you play games on it or does it heats while watching youtube videos or when charging?
Is the heating better than the snapdragon base s22? I'm still within my return policy and it's always hot with 10 minutes of normal use I can't stand it.
10 minutes use and you're already experiencing heat problems on a flagship phone? That's just unbelievable but if that's the case, the A54 doesn't heat that fast with the 5.1 software update. It might heat during heavy gaming, but personally it takes about 1 to 2 hours of continuous use for it to start heating. It doesn't lag at all.
Hello, I got this phone 1 day ago and I have already completed my first day with it and I am very happy! I come from a Galaxy S20+ whose battery lasted just half a day and a poor 3 hours of active screen. I feel that the cameras are good for the price at which I bought it (254.40 dollars) and in terms of autonomy it is brilliant, more than 5 hours on active screen on the first use and still analyzing patterns! It is more ergonomic than a 6.7 screen but not as comfortable as a 6.1 for those with small hands. Without a doubt very happy and I hope to soon make the jump to a base S23FE or S23, if you have any questions I can answer them! greetings from Chile 🇨🇱
For almost a year I have searched for a phone that suits my type of usage, which is more on daily usage especially on social media and camera. But I do like to play some online games. In that span of time I have never seen a better phone that fits my type of usage than galaxy a54. And I really like it. After learning about a54 I stopped looking for alternatives because I really loved that it can last me for many years, im poor so I cannot afford to buy a new one after 2 years. Now my question is. With my type of usage, does a54 is the perfect phone for me or there are other phones to consider. And also does it perform as advertised. Thank you!
@@no-one7672 I would say that a good update to the A54 would be the S23FE in a year's time, since the price will drop and if you take good care of your Galaxy you can give it as part of the payment ;)
@@flippoboy1216 Correction, it was 266 dollars and I bought it through an Instagram page here in Chile which has been selling devices for about 7 years, it is already the third device I have bought on this page. It should be noted that the device was the 256GB A54, sealed and with a one-year warranty on the brand (Samsung).
@rodrigocatalan4639 the only problem with the s23 fe is they used snapdragon 8 gen 1 which as we saw with the s22 doesn't have good battery life. No idea why they did this because the FE models have usually had the same chipset as the others.
Well, no, and yes , yes, if you are using the gfx tools, then you will get nearly the 90 frames but if not then 30 at high frame rate which is bad from pubg for not optimistic the cpu for high graphics possible, if you wanna play pubg new state them sure you can get 90 frame rate without gfx
Long story short.....I went from a S10 with a broken USB port that i could only charge wireless to a new S24......I never used the s24,cause it had no micro sd slot and then i brough a A54 and so i went over from S10 to the A54............Pro,s are only battery life is great on the A54 but anything feels the same and cons are the design/shape is pretty simple bulky and hard to hold in 1 hand and operate with 2 fingers.. So i brought a broken s10 with a broken screen and a good motherboard and charging port and very soon i step back from the A54 to the s10 with a new battery cause i like the size the feel of the s10 vs this bulky brick (with a amazing battery). The S10 feels so much better in the hand the position of the on off button and sound buttons is great as i mix up the power and volume button up 10x a day.....i like the slim design and in terms of speed and and and i notice diffence for me a phone is whatsapp and emails and youtube and and.................
Anybody else notice the a54 can not play yt vids at 4k 60fps? If its just regular 4k it can play it fine and looks great but if its 60fps and you try to throw it up to 4k60 it's just so glitchy & laggy especially if its hdr, always have to throw it down to 1440p60fps... which is just fine. Looks just as outstanding usually. Just noticed that. I had the a51 couple years ago and it was exactly the same, i just definitely thought the a54 would've been able to do it especially sheerly how its been miles and miles better than the a51 in every other spec and experience
@extremboon Have you never heard of "upscaled" or how that's a thing lol, been a thing for a while. Example say that 5 years ago before the ps5 you had a 4k Samsung TV or something and you had a regular ps4 hooked up to it, the original ps4 only displays at 1080p BUT, since it's a 4k TV, the TV itself upscales what you're seeing and looks closer to 4k than 1080p. But see a ps4 Pro is capable of running 4k so on that same TV screen that's 4k pixels total itself, that's called true 4k and it's gonna look a lil better, but it's not even gonna look THAT much better because the TV upscales the og ps4's 1080p to 4k. If you're still skeptical you can look all that up. It's exactly the same on like this a54 and turning up to 4k quality on yt. If you change videos from 1080p to 4k, you sure as hell notice a better difference. It's just not the full, true 4k viewing experience.
The performance might be slightly better when playing certain games and some apps may perhaps launch faster on A34. Otherwise the A54 is the superior device.
Yes it will get it. Supposed to be in the next month or so. In Europe release date was November 13th. But they missed that date. So in the US it won't be too long after that.
@@eternal7631I mean, the cheaper phone isn't all that bad. I fell in love with S23FE when I was about to buy an Iphone. But then I found out A54 is way cheaper so I bought it after watching tons of reviews. Personally, when I saw the S23FE display at a phone store it was heating as much as the A54. If I were you, I'd save the extra $200 and go for A54 if you're not a heavy user/gamer.
