We will solve the problem (NO Soldering required) of the Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 not turning on and not charging the battery. This repair guide will be an easy method and you will have it done in no time!
This solution may work for most of the Galaxy A Series.
Not Turning On And Temperature Warning While Trying to Charge. Shorted defective Charging Port Modul And An Insulted dead Battery... Battery got replaced as well. Teardown, Screen Replacement, #battery Replacement, Camera ,Button Replacement.

Ordered a new power button as I was replacing the display aswell, realized it's still not working, looked the issue up again, found this vid, tried starting without charging connector attached, works You freaking genius, I would've never thought abt this, my next option would've been a new mainboard aka buy a new phone for my sis Thanks a bunch, helped me a lot

First thanks this video help me, after turn on... i reconnected the flex cable... put all back together.... Is it change the charging board solve the problem?

We have the same issue a7 2018, i tried to change the battery but still not opening. By the way what is the purpose of the thing that you took off? Will it affect the phone?

if you are talking about the flexcable described as "thing" it connects the lower board to the mainboard (will affect: Mic, Charging and Speaker).

what size screwdriver works for most these phones? i have a Samsung A20 and my screwdrivers just dont grip or cannot move the screws in mine! im thinking of purchasing a wera? (but cant afford the whole kit!)

Hi, I have a galaxy A7 2018 and after 1 year of using it if had and heat in the top part of the screen then suddenly it restarted very quickly then I re-restarted it again after that I truned it off for a while for reason to decrease that heat and when I wanted to turn it on again it wouldn't turn on nor charging ?? I hope that you can help me and thank you

Hey Oussama, the reason why the upper of the phone side is getting hot is, because there is the mainboard placed. Did you use different kind of chargers? Kan be a lot, often the charging curcuit... also cold solder=no good connection...and so on. But defenitely a board issue.

Hi My A7 is not starting up, showed my phone to nearest repair guy, he was unable to fix the issue and told me that there is some sort of problem with MMC.. phone is not charging and not turning on,, can you please help ?

if the emmc is corrupded than there is only a serious data recovery "maybe" possible, but expensive. Try another shop.

I have a problem with my a7,it dont want to turn on but vibration of it still working for example,i screenshot and it work just fine,and also the alarm,i set it before around 6.15AM and it just ring,its weird cause i can slide up to turn off the alarm,the only problem is the screen is just blank,any solution?

Can i ask, what seems to be the problem if the screen is black and then the phone is still on like the phone can still alarm? Samsung a7(2018) to be specific

And i can also stop the alarm but no display. Just plain black. I can touch the screen to disable the alarm. I can stop the alarm by guessing which part is the off alarm

Can be a cracked screen, or liquid damage on the screen connector area. What happend to the phone?

Thank you, probably the phone is fake charging and the battery could be drained. I would check charging port, fpc connector or fpc cable for cold solder joints etc

First thing i allways try, is celaning the charging port. Then dissasembling and make visual inspektion of the board/daughter board. Look for waterdamage, burnt parts or anything suspisious.

Hola yo uso el A7 desde Noviembre 2018 ya 3 años en uso y siempre esta bien solo que se me destapo la parte trasera pero yo lo tape otravez y es malo eso que se destapo

I would first check the charging port module, fpc flex and connectors

@@ivanivanoff7428 open it up and make a visual inspection, push lightly on the connectors, maybe there are cold solder connections. Does it charge the battery? without any tools you have to bring it to a repair shop...

I lost whole lot than a phone, my friends list, Contacts Numbers in the phone, my personal key for banking 2 banking and I had been frame as a bad person by this lady the pity thing I am grown women. Been twice in Samsung walking repair stores yet it a share unfair. I lost my daughter due her number being loop to other contact and it cost her roaming fee that made her so stressed out then my youngest got it to by rapist a full grown man holding 9years old they get all her contacts and ruin our daughter friends the trigger word you spoke your families dead. So I am eager to fix and get the mole
