While I can empathize, I don't quite understand the moaning about the headphone jack. Any audiophile worth their salt would use a dedicated usb DAC for their high end headphones anyway because the DACs on these phone headphone jacks aren't very good at all (unless you have those old LG phones). Those who aren't audiophiles but can't afford a RM50 dac should really reprioritize their spending better since it is really silly to buy a RM2k++ phone when a RM50 DAC could break their finances.
You are absolutely spot on my friend, I hope that everyone who complaints about not having a headphone jack sees your comment, pinning your comment now! 🔥❤️
I dont want to spend more money to buy bluetooth headphones and usb headphones..i just want to use the same earphones i have used with my laptop..why spend more money? I dont care about DAC laa...
One of the best reviews I’ve seen for the A73, almost all of the reviewers were complaining about the price and comparing the a73 to the Poco f3 which I couldn’t stand for miui problems and the lack of proximity sensor and the average cameras etc. and they forgot to mention that 4 years of software updates alone deserve that price tag and the stability of One Ui 4.1. Great review brother, you earned a new subscriber 👍
@@heshangunathilake nah the review was genuine, but calling poco f3 bad? Bruh. That a73 won't be smooth as new after like 2 yrs. Poco f3 on the other hand will stay strong for 4 yrs+
I bought my A73 on April 30th; all I can say is, awesome! The only complaint I have with Samsung is the charging speed. I hoped for at least around 60% charged in 30 minutes yet I only managed to get around 45% in 30 minutes throughout my experience till now. However, other aspects, especially the screen, the software and the camera are exceptionally well. Hopefully, Samsung will improve the charging speed in the future but it doesn't have to be super fast like those 100 watts charging in my opinion. Edit: But if you are a heavy user and need more performance than anything else, perhaps the Realme GT Neo2 is a better choice (or simply wait for the GT Neo3).
I ordered it but now looking to cancel it after watching camera reviews. People saying a52s/s21 fe camera better then this. Also watched pics on u tube and observe some reddish selfies and low light image poor quality.? Do u guide about the issue.? Ordered with 37k .
@@PoojaYadav-bm9fi Not sure about A52s but S21 FE is definitely better than A73 I believe. Maybe it's just me, I didn't compare a lot about the photos I shot with other devices so I don't know about those issues you mentioned.
Hey may i ask? How about your battery performance? Because my A73 only get 4 - 5 Screen on time it is really bad as i don't play games or heavy user. I only use for media social only. Is it because the phone still new and the battery still learning my usage pattern? When i open battery setting it says "learning usage pattern". Is it a problem or i just have to wait? @GYS
@@yash2042 My A73's battery also drained significantly faster during the first week. But it become normal after the system know my usage pattern so it shouldn't be a problem to you. As of now, I usually get around 7-8 hours SOT from 100% to around 20%. If I play Genshin, it'll be shorter to just around 6 hours or less depending on how long I play the game.
Ya! I needed a bigger screen phone! So, I traded-in my S22 with A73 5G! There is reason for me to upgrade and pay more for S22+ just for a bigger screen! I have been using the A73 5G for 1 week now! It's awesome! The camera is superb! It's made of plastic and it's so light for one-hand usage and weight friendly in the pants pocket compared to S22+!
Thanks for the review...One major point to note is that the software updates are excellent if compared to the other brands using android and I do agree with you that in this price range the A73 is an excellent choice... As for me, can't wait for you to review the Honor Magic 4 as I have shortlisted with this A73😎😎😎
Finally a comment that makes sense 😂. Thanks for getting where I am going about in this video and you are super on point indeed. Will try my get hands on the Honor Magic 4 buddy 🙂
You can easily buy this phone with a cheaper price as samsung midrange tends to drop price quickly...it was around RM 1800++ (8+256) if you can go to physical shop...tapi tkde power brick ni mmg buat aku sakit hati
A FAIR REVIEW COMING FROM YOU SIR KEEP IT UP. I HAVE BEEN USING A71 FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS AND TO MY EXPERIENCE THERE IS NO DOWNSIDE. STILL I AM ON A WATCH LOOKING IF THERE IS SOMETHING WORTH MENTIONING IN TERMS OF THE PHONE'S SERVICE OR REAL TIME USAGE.
Since I totally don't mind not having a headphone jack but certainly I can't live without a microSD card slot not because I wanted a storage expansion but because it makes it way easier to backup files and data you have and this is actually the reason that I am considering possible downgrading of phones from a Note series to an A series. Originally I am planning to get an S22 Ultra to replace my ageing Note10+ bought few days before the 2020 pandemic. Possibly the few things I think that I would dislike it is the optical fingerprint sensor instead of an ultrasonic ones found on S or Note series, the smaller than usual RAM of just 8GB instead of 12GB that I am already used to and some of the flagship features that makes a high-end Samsung phone a flagship like recording 4K@60fps, Wireless Charging, 45W Ultra Fast Charging, The Premium Build Materials and most importantly the 12GB RAM which is just phenomenal for a Samsung phone. If only A73 has atleast a 12GB variant I would feel less bad about getting an A73 over an S22 Ultra (256GB/512GB).
@@nabilsamir4171 NO that's not true! VIRTUAL RAM is one of the biggest Android Smartphone B.S. EVER! I have a Note10+ and supposedly if I add 8GB virtual RAM it would be 20GB of RAM or even just 4GB to make it virtually 16GB RAM of a phone but performance wise nothing has changed so far! It didn't made my phone any faster and any snappier. It still feels like I am using a 12GB RAM. So that jusr proves that VIRTUAL RAM ≠ REAL PHYSICAL RAM. #GaguhanLangTalagaYangVirtualRAM
The sad thing about the a73 pricing in my country is that it is only less than 100usd cheaper than the standard Mi 12. And the built quality and specs are miles ahead. Anyways, still using my 2+ yrs old Mi 9T with No lags whatsoever while the similarly priced/competition at the time, A50 of my friend is already lagging even after just 1 year and yep, no One UI update was able to save that.
Camera stabilisation and dynamic range look great for the price:) I was looking at the slightly older Motorola Edge 20 pro; which has some beefier specs on paper than the A73 but the Edge's camera stabilisation, dynamic range and low light shooting looked a little shonky when put in real world scenarios. After seeing how the camera performed here I think the A73's software/hardware combination (in regards to the camera) takes the cake! Thanks for the awesome review:)
i like your personality, and i meant your expressions and the way you're explaining. It actually makes me want to listen to you and not getting bored of it. good joba!
It would be nicer if Samsung used telephoto lense instead of macro lense. Somehow, I found being able to zoom in at least 3 to 5x has better use compared to macro lense.
@@AdamLoboTV Thanks Adam for creating great content be it sponsored or non sponsored. I have been tuning into your channel since it was born so please keep up the good work. 🙂
I am first time to this channel I noticed a good thing in this channel the camera switching is very good I didn't see this much of good camera switching in any channel.
This is the review that i have been waiting for..I really want this phone and most of the complains are all about the headphone jack which for me is not a big deal at all..They can use a type c headset with this one..the software and the processor are the important ones to consider..And with this review i would definitely buy this phone..Thank you for a great review 👍
Great video I am thinking of importing the samsung a73 5g from another region because I still live in the uk If I import it to the UK would the 5G connectivity still work on a english sim card carrier? Thank you
Using it for a month and this is my first android phone to be honest I didnt like the cameras at all photos are very sharp at the edges of images and not looking natural but videos are somehow better than photos .The screen is quite succesfull .Would I buy it again? NO not for this price YES if it was 40% cheaper
Just got a used one 8-256gb with 11 months and 15 days warranty remaining for as low as 350$ such a deal breaker. No regrets moving from exynos s21 ultra. Huge downgrade but in my real life use of phone I don't really use the camera much often. I prefer using my phone as my working phone with a perfect battery life
So the battery doing better after only update as i understood... ..so..If i turn on dark mode and make 90 hz refresh..is it expected by these steps for it to last more than 7 hours ??
This a review that I'm looking for. It is very detailed and covered all the aspects of the phone. I will be getting the A73 for sure this November. Thank you 😁
Thanks for your review! How is battery life today. Can you still use Fisplay on for 6-7 hrs or does it run shorter after the following updates? Thanks bro!
Samsung A73 5G i purchase from Dubai last week, the auto call recording option disappeared, my previous device samsung A71 was in it. Is this the reason now or will the next update actually come recording? Has anyone encountered this problem ????????
Very crisp and to the point review. Looking forward to buying this one as my current phone is 6 android generations older which ran on Marshmallow and got Nougat update in 2017. I am not a heavy gamer so i don't mind the 778 SoC. Some people may go for the SD 800 series SoC. But for my needs i think this phone serves well. In terms of software and security updates Samsung is best. So i think this phone will serve me well for the next 5-6 years again. So i think it is worth spending the extra money considering the return on investment.
Should I get the Samsung A73 or Poco F4 ? the one main reason so I don't want to leave samsung because I use galaxy buds pro, because I can't use other features of Buds Pro if I don't use Samsung Device
The A72 was a great phone but the only issue was the weight with the awful 203 grams ! It was pain in the neck after using it for a long hours. Has the A73 improved in the weight area ? I know its lesser now and not sure after using the phone cover it makes any difference ? Thanks
My friend has the a72 and J just bought mine 2 couple of days ago and I was surprised because a73 is waaaaayyyyyy lighter than the a72. It feels like you are not holding a big phone 😄
The need to charge your wireless earphone is very irritating also not only you need to charge a phone and earphone which means you need extra charger for that but they also remove the charger in the box and also they remove charger and headphone jack no more earphone in the box included and no more jelly case and it becomes more expensive no more 3x zoom with OIS. Not worrying of charging is the best thing at the same time you can have an option of connecting your wireless earphone as well even by having a jack.
For me, the review of this guy is quite decent and interesting. I like the fact that he did justice to the phone and the price. Also to appreciate, is the way he edits the contents in alluring way. 😊👍🏼
I saw this comment on gsm arena.. A53 camera is better. It has Sony IMX 682 and photo processing is far ahead than in A73, which is equipped with Samsung ISOCELL H2 sensor.
I really wanted this phone but it is not compatible with Verizon & since I have spectrum mobile I can't use it on my network!! I am not happy about that at all! 😢😢😢
I heard from the other reviewer that there is an app or in phone itself that there is a linking of your cards debit/credit for easy payment. Is it true? Thanks.
The sad thing is that oneui lags on my tab s7 fe. It's my first samsung gadget and now im scared to shell out any more money to try another samsung. It's even more scary that a73 and tab s7fe have similar processors.
I'm a little sad, the a73 wil not come to the smartphone market in the Netherlands. And the dutch departement of Samsung does not know why, nor there were any statements explaining why...
I am unable to listen to a FM Radio Station in Islamabad, Pakistan. I have reported the matter to Samsung, The guy at the helpline center said he would report it to technical people and hopefully in the next update the problem would be fixed.
Only 2 thinks needs.....6000 battery and SD778Gplus instead of Sd778G Build quality is Front Gorilla glass 5 Back and frame is plastic About Head phone jack you can use the usb and working perfect with headphones So still u can use wire headphones if u.prefer compare with wireless

@@AdamLoboTV Yeah, i know that Samsung devices has one of the best quality especially the software but for the price, it should be at least Snapdragon 870.
Paying that price for a phone with a measly 778G in 2022 makes no sense at all, particularly when phones like the Xiaomi 11 lite NE retail for half the price. Better battery life, 37W charging, high refresh rate screen with actual HDR10+ and with the same chipset. Come on, Samsung.
Hi Adam, the picture quality from the phone seems awesome. I guess they have not been edited and came straight out of the camera? I got the s22 plus and battery life wasn't great.
I find battery life average. Not great. My usage also something like yours. Mainly WhatsApp, Instagram, taking pictures every now and then. RU-vid but not for long. Average battery life. Hope they can further improve.
Totally agree I have the redmi note 10 Pro global version and I use it with 120hz on all the time and dark mode turned on and I still get 8 hours screen on time what's the point of having fast refresh rate if your not going to use it
my G a 52 is useless like play 4K RU-vid videos are lagging, themes no free what so ever.. I'm done with Samsung. no more. Apple🍏 iPhone are more stable in every way. I'm not a Apple fans, i just use iPhone in couple a month. so far so good👍🏻
Good perspective but I'll still pick Xiaomi 11 lite 5G NE 🤣better camera cheaper has better display small bezels and will get android 12 to 14 ,,so either way ...it's way better device for the price over the A53/A74
@@Kiragayana yea most people in the US opt for just picking a phone through their carrier and paying on the phone each month with their service bill vs just buying the phone outright. People will also switch carriers if they have a phone they want, this happens more in larger areas though where the signal for any of the carriers is roughly the same. Unfortunately though the selection of phones through carriers is usually limited often only having like 15 phones to choose from and really its only Samsung or Apple. Motorola and LG used to be in the running years ago but you barely see them anymore. Because of the lack of brands and options through carriers many people in the US don't have access to all the other great brands, because no brick and mortar places have them they don't know its available and so they don't search for them online, and it is also a budget thing not being able to buy it out rite.
@@mandywaynick8725 that's the conundrum of being bubbled choice offered by carrier options and not brick and mortar yes out of USA most have options and you know the funny thing ?most people want iphones more than this other options 😅😅,or apple products they sell ridiculously outside of USA it's impossible to even have a logic as to why but still came to realise the mi 11 lite 5G NE had good cameras as good as iphone 12 most people have done comparison, but videos iphones are king still, but you do know even if you shop ,shipping to the USA from other countries including from china is faster than to rest of the world , hopefully Xiaomi and oppo and other brands will start to offer options to your domestic market
@@mandywaynick8725 learning insights how USA mobile phones distribution works ,,how about carriers themselves do they have exclusive non compete with only preference to Samsung or apple that they would not risk and bring others Mobile phone brands so users have choices plus I feel the ridiculous prices of nearly 2000 dollars on phones came as a result of people having carriers financed phones not caring much koz if they had options and choices most would have gave it a skip ,as for iphones I like two things cameras and software support ...they make controversial choices in name of profits but u are guaranteed a reliable software and hardware that is something that's is essential in a gadget you gonna likely keep a yr or two or even three if u don't upgrade as often as two or four yrs ,if android makers decided to give 5 yrs of android support,it will be an equaliser to the apple support everyone enjoys
@@Kiragayana I'm not sure if they have an exclusive non compete agreement or not, honestly it wouldn't surprise me. Even if you were to ask an associate I'm sure they would say they don't know. It would be like asking Lowes why they sell this brand of mower vs another brand. Honestly I think 2k for a phone is quite rediculous. I believe the most expensive phone we sell within carriers is the Galaxy Z fold which according to google is $1,600
