I think if you're planning to buy the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G you should rather get the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G because it has the same specs but cheaper!!
I would rather get the A52S 5G, since it has the same Snapdragon 778G as the A73, but the A52S 5G has a headphone jack and comes with a charger, if only apple didn’t decide to remove the charger with the iPhone 12, the idea of removing the charger is just terrible.
I feel if ur needing a new phone and have an a73 in mind, you should probably go for an s21 fe because it has a lot more value for just a little price increase over the a73.
Always enjoy your content! I only use smartphones for the "basic" activities such as calling, email & apps. With that in mind, the A53 5G is a better value. On a side note, I watched your review of the A51 before getting one for $70. I am very satisfied - received the latest android and security update 5/15/22. And it has a headphone jack!!
Hopefully, we would also have a comparison against the A73 predecessor, the Galaxy A72. As it's very good from a camera perspective, 108MP is pointless if it lacks additional usable cameras on the back.
@@butch8849 People when buying older or stopped flagships should consider that they now have a shorter year of supported software updates by samsung. There will still be small monthly updates but it will no longer be as effective as the actual samsung support.
I don't think you missed anything however I do think you made a good selling point for the A73 for gamers specifically. I actually decided on the A73 because of this aspect and really appreciate your honesty on this. Thank you for this video
I'm upgrading from a 2019 Galaxy S9+ (6GB of RAM, 60Hz) to an A73 (8 GB, 120 Hz). Upgrade wise, I think it was a rationale decision. It's important to note that aside a bigger screen, A73 has thinner bezels than A53, better CPU and GPU combination, which will supposedly allow the phone to last with good performance for longer time than A53, and an overall better optical system. I think, at least in my country, the difference in prices (about 50 US dollars, sometimes even less) justify the choice for the Galaxy A73 over the A53.
Great comparison. A73 makes much more sense this year in my opinion. It is very unfortunate that Samsung has categorized the A53 into the same league as the A33 now. Anyways, keep up the good work.
A73 is overpriced for what is offers in my opinion. A52s has the same processor for less price. If extra updates are not a big problem I think S20 FE Snapdragon version is still excellent
I bought the A33 directly from Samsung for £9 a month which is around $11 a month and I've got it for 3 years which I don't mind. I love it, feels like a high end smartphone for less money and its blue!
go to your settings and find the ram settings and change it to 6gb of usage ( you might be at 4 atm) it will say it will take up more spaace ( ram is doesn;t take up physical space)

I was thinking the same thing. You can slap a 1 Terabyte sd card on the A53/A73 and go crazy with it but with the S21FE you are stuck with the 128 or 256 gigs. I doubt it goes to 512 i'm just assuming based on what i know.
I got the A53 5G from Boost Mobile for 99 bucks and 157 with tax and other fees. It's a great phone. Moving up front a Moto G Fast It's very nice especially since the Motorola cost 79 bucks. The Samsung is a very solid phone at such a low price.

The a53 is a good option flr the deals. I got mine from metro out the door, service, and screen protector, and phone for 209$. That deal is honestly better than anything I've found in my area
A 1 second lag won't be of much issue in my opinion though. With regards to the plastic bodies of A33 A53 and A73, a good backcover and an extra protective front glass will serve just as fine as a metal body
I am watching with my A53 and this phone is already big and good enough for me. It costs around 500$ in my country so it is kind of expensive in my opinion.
I agree on the comments for the A73. Well I will settle for the A73. Currently, I am using the A113. Its an OK phone, nothing much to complain about. Hangs a little bit of the 128 storage. Other than that, it's one great phone to use.
I rarely game on my phone. I’m mostly watching YT and other general stuff. Im going to upgrade to the A53 from an iPhone SE 2020. iPhone se is a kinda a joke now. It’s super fast, but the battery and small screen sucks. Sure, I prefer iOS and the lifespan of support and updates. But I’ve heard Samsung will update and support these phones for 4 years, which sounds amazing. I can’t wait to upgrade to a much better phone.
Peach color option is NOT IMPORTANT (???) This is THE MOST IMPORTANT color option !!! A53 looks better and feels better. At least, for me A53 is BETTER CHOICE
I just got an a53 and was really excited because the camera is a huge step up from my old phone. But that terrible yellowish white balance really detracts from it for me especially because I can never tell what the pictures I'm taking will actually look like on a device with normal white balance. Think I'm gonna have to take it back to the store and go for the a73 instead.
@Elizabeth Pienaar Very happy, I love the slow mo mode and the macro mode. Definitely the best quality camera I've ever had on a phone (I mean, this is the most expensive phone I've ever bought, so that's probably why) Also, I got used to the different white balance, and now I don't even notice it.
I don't think the better chipset only makes a difference for gaming. The better chipset makes using the phone a lot faster, allowing for a better experience. Correct me if I'm wrong?
I'll be upgrading next year from A30 and I've been undecided between A53 and A73, I had decided on the A73 and watching your video has confirmed it for me. I have had my A30 now for 3 years and someone had commented that it takes nice photos. Samsung has never let me down in that area.
Same. I've have my a30 for 3 years and now it's time to move on, because the battery is, after 3 years, becomes unpredictable, my charging port is sometimes broken and I had to knock the phone to get it working, which I broke the screen glass. I love the A series but I'll be changing to a smaller phone, waiting for my pre-ordered z flip 4.

I have the A53. I think specs in this day and age don't matter anymore. I kinda see why apple doesn't tell you. Because when I play COD: Mobile or any car games or even Genshin Impact. It does really well. The bigger screen really isn't worth it. Another thing is this. Why get the A73 when you can just get the S21 FE instead and actually get good specs.
Back then, A70 is better than A50 back then with, 25 watt fast charging, snapdragon chip, 4k video, 4500mah battery and 6.7 inch screen (still rare for phones) Now difference of a73 and a53 isnt drastic unlike A70s time. I have A70 :)
I have to buy every single one 😅 that’s also why I’m a little slow sometimes to cover certain ones - the A73 for example isn’t sold in the US, so I have to import it or buy it from an international seller
A73 5G is more optimized because of the Snapdragon 778 so gaming and navigating will be much muchbetter. A53 has an Exynos processor which is not optimized as greatly as the Snapdragon so there will be more choppyness when navigating daily and sometimes gaming. But overall the Exynos 1280 will still yield day to day use and even gaming.

I’ve been using the A53 for 2 months now and came from using an A52s, I really can’t recommend this phone enough. Don’t listen to the comments saying that A52s is better. All A52 series phones have awful build quality, you can go check them out in a store. They squeak, have massive issues with back cover not being glued properly, sim tray issues etc. A53 has a build quality two leagues above than A52s, better cameras, better battery life but a weaker SoC. No headphone jack is not a problem for me as I already had Type-C and BT earphones. Also no one would want to use the 15W charger that came with A52s, I bought the 25W one for my A52s anyways. A53 gets 2 more years of software support, photo remastering and object eraser features, sturdier, prettier design and exynos chip runs cooler. So unless you are someone who is looking for a phone to game with (there are phones much better for gaming than A52s at this price point btw) buy the A53. A73 really failed this year by dropping the telephoto camera, so it is hard to recommend. You pay 100$ for slightly worse battery life, better SoC and a camera that is marginally better than A53’s. So really you just pay for SoC.
My A53 works fast too. I change the Motion Smoothness to Natural. And disabled all animation. It's very fast now and the battery life is longer. I have no complain.
I don't understand why Americans are reviewing a73. This phone was not made for or supported by any Amercian carriers. If its going to be reviewed, people need to understand it may or may not work with their carrier and bands will be an issue since they aren't made for us.
Get the a73 5g I made the the mistake of getting a53 5g which in my opinion lags more than it should. I think the better processor and more ram of a73 would be a benefit.

You ar gone by happy after the August update in runs nice then wen in launched i have the A53 coming from huawie it's i nice change price good. And the adaptive battery fuction is awesome geve it a week or 2 normal use and the battery gets better and better
A52s is better as it's cheaper and has the same 778g as a73 but a52s has headphone jack and a charger. The 778g chipset isn't new it's been around for over 6 months
In Australia the A73 5G is now being offered at AUD$599 or US$413. Where as the A53 5G is being offered at AUD$699 or US$480. It's a no brainer that the A73 is the best deal in Australia right now.
When comparing to my previous Huawei P20 pro and the recent Realme 7,the A53 5G is a quite better and faster mobile device. No issues what's so ever, it's runs smoothly and quickly, just see to clear the memory (and cache, just restart) now and then. 6gb / 128 Gb.
I am just got sad there's no headphone jack, i don't really enjoy the wireless because of sound quality and stuff... But i guess i can go around it with a painful dongle or a different cable
i have an a33 5g that runs on exynos 1280 while i dont have many problem with it the main thing is the exynos 1280 lags like 60% of the time the animation starts a second after i click,in camera i cant record with my ultra wide camera my a71 can do that but in other thing is great
Well we can't discount the fact that A73 5G is a major upgrade to last year's A72 which wasn't 5G even. And coming from a flagship Note phone myself I definitely am seeing myself taking the A73 5G anytime of the day rather than A53 5G which also has more bezels. And I am honestly considering the A73 5G to replace my Note10+ since nowadays going midrange is the only way to get some more specs that I need like microSD card slot which they totally ditched out of the S22 series. Right now I'm still contemplating if I should get an S22 Ultra which is all good except for the absence of MicroSD card slot or I could just settle for A73 with a lot of adjustments for me since it's a midrange phone. What I would totally miss is the 12GB RAM that I used to enjoy with my Note10+ which is gonna be a total downgrade on A73 5G in my use case scenario.
@@tsunamijune Unfortunately it doesn't. VIRTUAL RAM ≠ HARDWARE BUILT-RAM. Tried and tested it on my Note10+ and S22 Ultra (both 12GB RAM with options to add 8GB more) but really it can only do so much and it's never going to replace the actual physical RAM that came with the device. #YanAngKatotohanan. #VirtualRAMisnotequaltophysicalRAM

Cuz I dislike the sluggishness of the Optical Fingerprint Sensor on A series phones which is basically one of the main reasons I would prefer a flagship Samsung over a midrange one. I was forced to use a thumb drive/card reader OTG if I want to access files from my old microSD Card.My friend bought himself an A73 5G and when I tested the Fingerprint Sensor on it I really disliked it compare to a tried and tested Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor I had with Note10+/Note20 Ultra. I just wish it's a little more larger on the upcoming S23 Ultra and I probably might reconsider getting S23 Ultra too. So far I only skipped S21 Ultra since I did not like its form factor of a rounded phone with an optional S-Pen not included yet for its price. #AyokoLangNgS21Ultra
I think an S10/S10+ has certain advantages even still (maybe camera, display, build…), buuuut you won’t get another major software update so you have to consider that
@@Big_Black_Dick Unless they want something brand new with good software for the Cheap the A53 or other A series is a good option. If you want Superior Hardware but don't mind having less in terms of Software the S10 and S10+ and even the S20 and S20+ are good buys.

I was big on flagship but I had the a52 then a53 now have the a73 but all my a series phoned has only had 2-6 gigs of ram through ram plus I bumped it to the highest ram I'm in Australia which lacks in most areas compared to dame phones in other countries which is dumb although I'm more then happy with a series phones defiantly not worth buying flagships in my opinion Total waste of money but a73 cost me $700 bit pricey to me to be honest
