its shit after 2years or maybe 1and haf years i had this phone it still a good phone until today but i switched to s20 FE 5g and i could never go back

me too! I've had this phone since 2018 and I've dropped my phones soo many times already. Now when it falls people are worried for my phone and I'm just like 'nah it's fine' without looking at the screen but obviously a phone case is required (I still have a cheap one lol ). Also, the battery life is still as good as in 2018 and so far I've had zero problem with it but I too is not a big fan of the camera but that's the only thing that I kind of dislike about it . I'm planning on changing to an S21 this year but will definitely still use the A8 for quite some time

Adriel Isaacs While some of the things you said are true but in the other hand the OnePlus 5T however is future proof, the 5T has better specs a flagship chipset, more ram, OnePlus patented quick charge technology, Android Oreo, 4k video recording and an AMOLED display, ALL OF THAT FOR THE SAME PRICE. Needless to say the A8 is just a watered down version of the S8 with underpowered hardware and OS with a flagship price seriously Samsung didn't even try to develop Android Oreo for this new device.

nah man the real budget dream is SAMSUNG GALAXY S7 Edge in 2018 is like $450 and beats the hell out of this overpriced A8 2018

I have A5 2016. It's not a bad phone but I made a mistake. At the time S6 was much better choice for the price. Next time the S series will be my only choice!

My a8 after 2 years and several months still works well. May need to change battery though since its aging.

get a memory card and a new battery. the new samsungs kinda suck. unless its S series. The new phones are to big to use one hand, only the S series is good to use one hand.. All their budget phones are size of the ultra now..

How was it at the end of two years? Some people reported it getting quite slow after 2 years

Tristan Zipp maybe that is why Samsung make this phone.. It is to convince people to buy S8.. and at the same time want to captivate customers who want S8 but hate those edge.. (some people do hate those edge because it hard to search screen protection)

S7 Edge is less than a year older than A5 2017. Plus it did cost double more on release.
