It's weird to see his phone break on the first front-drop. I can throw mine over my shoulder and let it drop on the floor, I droped it tons of times anyway and the screen is absolutely perfect for me. Not a single scratch or fissure and I've owned it almost since launch.
Hey TechRax I had an idea for a new kind of durability test. Put on a pair of gym shorts with big pockets, place the phone within the pocket and start running, the phone will come flying out and skid across the concrete, this has happened to be on several occasions and I feel it would be a great way to test a phones durability since so many people run with their phones.
I remember that when I bought my s3 when i dropped it On the face the glass was perfect not a scratch but the pixels under the glass were fucked up :)))) ...Now I have a Note 4 and I am proud of it.

The phone is remarkably durable. I have dropped it, face down, from about 5 feet on several occasions and have had no problem. I also habitually use in while,or directly after, showering and have had no issues with water damage or any type of technological issues due to it.
Well there are a lot of people who are Samsung fans and barely any Apple fans. I can probably figure out why a lot of people hate apple even though they have a old Apple device. They just look at it and say it's crap cause it just is and Samsung is better for no apparent reason or the other reason why is because they just read some thing about some one hating on Apple.

Well there is another way to why people hate Apple it's because most people see something and they like it but then when they see something else that almost the same thing everyone just hates on it and too many people always reads the websites to why Apple sucks
Why does everyone like iPhone? Android s so much better at everything and their phones are amazing. I'm talking about Samsung, HTC, Nexus, and Motorola phones.
I don't see how someone could criticize him for these videos. The drop tests are actually actual demonstrations of a phone's durability. I don't know why people take the other videos more seriously.

techrax i have a suggestion for your drop tests. you should drop devises on hardwood floors and tiles because people dont only drop their phones on concrete

about the statement of "maybe Sapphire glass will be more resistant"... the problem is that a scratch resistant material doesn't necessarily protect from cracking. In most cases, the harder a material is, the easier it shatters. so it might be worse than gorilla glass, but we will see.

Imho the older Samsung models like the S3 were more durable. They had not such a hard glass, but they did not use the harder glass to make the phones more durable, only to make them a few tenths of mm (=unnoticably) thinner and a few g lighter (=also unnoticable), but this is juts how the phone market works: the manufacturers concentrate on specs which can be marketed easily...
TechRax Your microphone (on 1:10 in the video) is clearly better than the other ones. The other cameras have a "poor" microphone, that some kind of hurts my ears. They have a flat and noisy sound. Try using only the good one to speach at us ;)
Still the Gorilla Glass 4 still did well since it can already resist drops for only about 1m and I'm hoping it will be increased to 2 or 3m on its successor.
Your phone is like your dog, you don't want to drop your dog or else he/she might get a injury, if your dogs screen get cracked, you take it to a screen replacement, If you want to sell your dog, it's pretty self explanatory.

Even with an Otterbox case on the phone, my phone fell out of my pocket and screen first onto the ground and shattered the entire screen. Still can use it and that's a plus, but huge bummer.
Funny how all iPhone users say "Oh you don't have an aifone becuz u can't aford eet" At least we buy phones with our money, not with our parent's money. kek
