I'm glad they kept the USB A port. Many times I still need that port for flashdrives, wired mice, and plugging in my desk fan.

This would be excellent but for two inexplicable self-inflicted weaknesses: no 32gb option, and the use of soldered UFS 4.0 storage rather than replaceable M.2 NVME drives.

I just preorder this laptop and I'm excited for it. However, I find it ironic that this laptop has an SD card slot for storage, Samsung makes SD cards with great storage capabilities, but they aren't putting it back in the phones. I really hope they utilize the SD cards again.

Samsung laptops have to be the most underrated laptops on the market. With their recent lineup they've been killing it with the specs, and now even more after this specific model. I just wish they go international with these laptops so you can buy them in other countries as well. Also, like everytime the unboxing and review is absolutely amazing!

it is amazing specs however if the screen can not be folded back to use stylus to be able to draw on them it is essentially uselsess to have a touch screen. thanks for the review if they could have just made it folded with how then it is , it would be magical.

battery definitely would be around 12-15 hours given that snapdragon team in their presentation said upto 22 hours. And given that its ARM, 15+ is easily achieveable. Moreover performance should be same with or without power cord plugged-in, unless its very GPU demanding task like games/ renders.

How about gaming? Video edit? MS365? Docker? VMs?

In the UK. I was going to push the button on one of these from Samsung UK website...then I see that their warranty is ONLY 12 MONTHS. Yes, a 12-month warranty for a £1,500 laptop - HALF the warranty of a mobile phone. Can anybody make any sense of this? How can such a premium product category have a warranty that abandons the customer after a few months? There isn't even a (paid) extended warranty option. No, you plunk down a grand and a half, and if the screen expires in month 13....you'll have to fork out half the cost of the machine on a repair. DISGUSTING.

Checking out the galaxy book after getting the Lenovo Yoga with snapdragon elite. In my opinion, these AI features are gimmicky, and theres also not much available at this time. Both Copilot+ is locked behind a monthly paywall, and Samsung will paywall their AI in 2025. The NPU processor can handle older games well, but even well performing modern games require many sacrifices in graphics to run well. First game I tried was Risk of Rain 2. That of course isnt the focus of these laptops. Overall, if you have any other modern day computing device with AI features, these new snapdragon computers dont feel like they really offer much more OTHER than the phenomenal battery life. That is true :). I watched RU-vid and Netflix at work for a good 10 hours, no power saving, around 50% brightness. The battery ended at 48% on my Yoga

okay i was thinking 16 gb ram was not enough but when i see NPU is using half the ram it became more trashiee. means you are offering 8 gb of ram while marketing it as 16 gb. even without any background apps it is taking half the ram . how could this thing game, video edit in that kind of trash.

what kept me from buying this is the big fat black bar under the screen... make this a screen too and keep the vezels down there as slim as on the sides and the tops + give it real SSD storage and I'm in! Also... "silver only" is quite a boring color variety. Everything else looks absoluty great!

I would have bought Samsung book edge boot they made it a ripoff price. Going to go for the lenovo laptop with 32gb ram 1tb and 90hz 3k 1000nit peak hdr brightness and dolby vision at a great £1350
