The one sliced was iphone and it survived. Also the hinges in the fold was not completely sealed so the foam went within the hinges and hardened. Inside. Causing all the crackling when he tries to bend it back and thus breaking it

Really like, "Don't buy folding phones because you can have issues with them" like getting on them on that liquid right? Of course when you buy a phone that you know it's fragile you would supposed to being especially careful with it, I'm not hating but also say that, like when first iPhone came it wasn't water resistant but some older phones were, like Nokia's phones and that's how now we have smartphones like we need to support innovation and understand that, I'm not hating I liked your video also I understand your point
Idk about this, I know a bit of physics, and according to my calculations, there was no pressure on the phones, at least no significantly high pressure. Since there was nothing blocking the foam from expanding up, it just kept expanding up and thus no pressure was applied to the phones. A fair test would be to fill the entire box with foam and close it from the top to prevent it from expanding freely. Then it would start applying pressure to the phones.
Thank god for this test. I work in an environment where I have to dive deep into expanding liquid foam everyday. Now I know I can safely carry my iPhone 11 into the foam with me. Thanks Tech Rex !

This just goes to show how good virtually every reasonably-priced phone today has good thermal management and can resist overheating and exploding, I can only suspect in the light of the Note 7 issue a few years ago and how nobody wants to go there again. Good for everybody!
