Me too. This is why I started watching the channel much more.. always eager to see the new after the buzz videos.. they are so fresh, compared to all the other reviews.. I mean.. who cares that a phone is a tenth of a millisecond faster than another phone.. what really matters is how the phone holds up. That’s why I have loved iPhones.. -my iPhone XR feels like new after 1.5 years of use. My iPhone 7 before that was feeling like new after 2 years of use. 🤷♂️😏 is switch phones when I want to, not because I have to or because the phone started lagging or something.
Samsung will never have a phone this beautiful and well rounded again. Looks better than all the phones last year and this year. Probably next year too
I got mine 10 months ago and it's the first phone which I haven't dumped within half a year. It is so beautiful. I actually never owned a phone this long and don't even have plans to upgrade. I have never been so satisfied with a phone.
@@muntashirrahman2529 I think it means that since we are mostly indoors due to coronavirus, so we dont need to worry too much about the battery exhausting because we can charge it whenever we want to. :) but maybe I am wrong, as English is not my first language.
So far I'm loving my note 10+ had it for almost 3 1/2 months now and I don't think I will look to upgrade till another yr or so. Still one of my favs ❤️ through out the samsung Galaxy line up.

I had this phone for about 10 months and just now I started using the screen gestures for navigation instead of the traditional 3 buttons, and man this phone is like new
@@tuhafenigeorgedasilvahishi2958 yes... 5G, though I noticed that 5G drains more battery. I wish they put a 4,500 mah battery, but this phone is this enough to have a battery case, or wireless charges on deck at all times. (though if you have a case, then mostly likely wireless portable charging may not happen). Overall, the phone behaves the same, but if you have 5G in your area, then I encourage you to use it. But if it's not in your area, then you might be batter off getting the LTE model. Especially now, this phone should be getting updates for about another 1.5 to perhaps 2 years. If you get the 5g version, then you will be okay for a while. However, if you're not thinking of keeping this phone for long, so you can buy the newest phone, then grab the 4g model. Battery life varies. You know how Samsung has so many different modes. With the optimized battery mode on, and the phone being new (for the first few days it learn your patterns, then you should get about 6hrs). As time goes on you should get 7 hrs 30 mins on average.
Allow me to tell you a real life story, I got my samsung note 10 plus 5g for really cheap, I traded my samsung s8+ for my note10 plus and all I had to do was add 130 dollars to it.
I'm a right handed and I hold my phone with the left hand and write with the right hand. So the buttons on the left side is much better for me to easily click then with my left hand thumb.
@@itsjustajokechill3158 I'm a leftie as well, but maybe I'm ambidextrous? I write and use cutlery (forks and spoons) with my left hand, but I throw things and use scissors with my right hand, for example. I hold my phone with either hand with no problem, I constantly switch between them
@@mirumask i use both hands sometimes i hold phone with left and sometimes with right .... Same but i have a problem...I used the XS Max for a year or so..just switched to the Note 10Plus Aura Glow because of the screen size and no notch..But having a problem with PUBG mobile..in the iPhone, there were never frame drops and lag but here its irritating that even with 12 GB RAM there is lag..any solutions...??
@@ramamoh5652 see the thing is it lags in pubg thats it,because the variant we get in india has the exenos processor..other than pubg, all games work fine..If your priority is to play pubg then buy an iPhone anyday,my XR had no problems..But overall if u want a phone and u dont like pubg so much, mihht as well go for it because of the huge screen and storage.
I've owned every note also since the the Note 2 also.. Love my Note 10+. I actually LOVE the power switch on the left (I know the only one). The battery life could be better. Love the cameras especially the wide angle The new Note 20 has a high bar to meet IMHO
@@angelabby2379 Oh , I'm sorry for you 😞 I know the feeling , I've cracked all my phones. My Note10+ is still good , but I know , 100% , I will crack it one day 😔
@@angelabby2379 I dropped mine too yesterday, the tempered glass popped off and had a crack on it and I was using the standard case that came in the box. The phone is 100% fine though 😱
I've been waiting for this for so long. I love my note 10 +. See myself keeping this for years. All the power here is still on par with what 2020 if not better and like he said if you got it 5g you're pretty much set. Solid battery, display, and camera, and just overall performance with a fully loaded phone with almost 500 apps many of them just widgets or for customization. It still just keeps going. Plus the Aura glow blows every other phone away imo.
I upgraded my phone last month to my first Samsung since the SII (still have it, still works!) ... and I went back and forth between the S20+ and the Note 10+. A lot. For weeks. I went with the Note 10+ because I REALLY don't care about the high refresh rate ... at all. I REALLY don't care about 5G one iota. And in blind camera shootouts, the Note 10+ was still trading blows very evenly with the S20+. And then there's the extra RAM, double the storage, (my carrier variant is 8/128GB on RAM/storage for the S20+) and the almighty S-Pen. Yes, I know the Note 20 series is a month away, so it may just seem silly to buy last year's ... but with the 10+ being discounted by almost half, how do you say no? There are only two things I wish it had, that I still miss from my OnePlus 3 (and technically, every OnePlus phone since then) - the alert slider and screen-off gestures. How has NOBODY ELSE stolen those two features yet?? Especially the alert slider? I mean, come on!! The power button (even if they don't call it that) on the left really doesn't bother me. And as much as I love the feel of the phone without a case, I just can't bring myself to not put one on it. Too beautiful to break, in aura glow. I expect this phone to live up to the longevity standards set for me in the past by the Nexus 4, which I used for over 3 years before selling it to a friend, and the OnePlus 3, which is going strong after 4 years as my daughter's daily driver. It's been through many screen protectors, but never cracked a screen. Still runs fast and smooth, considering how old it is. I'd still take it over a 2 year old LG flagship. LOL
I'm in love with mine. Got this two days ago and boy, I'm impressed. It pretty much is quite capable and perfect to handle my daily activities, drawing, reading, photography, research, etc.
In my point of view, I used an overwhelming and amazing First Note. I used Samsung since then. Then suddenly I tried Iphone, but that experience with IOS made me missed the android system. Then I came back with Note 10 plus. What a relief 😌, I will stay with Note 10 plus for sure, gonna be a longtime. OneUI made it more exceptional. It's a Wow experience...
After the buzz already? Dios Mío! It such an amazing smartphone I'm in love with this line up since the note 2 back in the day. Thanks for sharing this video Jaime, you're the best. 🤗
Love my Note and I have had every one since the beginning. Looking forward to the Note 20. My only issue with Samsung is give us everything. We will pay. Lol. The biggest and best screen tech, best speakers, best overclocked processor, best storage (make 256GB the standard starting size) best RAM, dual sim with expandable memory, headphone jack with quad DAC, IR blaster, FM radio, best internals (wifi and BT tech), best camera, biggest battery with an S-pen, we honestly don't care how big or heavy the phone is, just make it the do it all phone. No compromises. You can go slim and experiment with the other phones. Make the NOTE stand apart from the rest. Just my thoughts, I'm just some guy on RU-vid. Lol.
Exactly bro! If they just didn't skimp on the processor in my region. True story, I bought the note 8 just as it was launched, went for a trip to Goa( great beaches, chill life) and everyone of my friends was awed by the camera and the design and the display. 6 months later, 3 of my friends since then had got the, iphone X. Yet, all they could do was tease me that they have a better camera(somewhat true), but when I pulled out the SPen, they still couldn't say shit, Haha. I sincerely hope, they could improve the processor in my region, otherwise its another year of what could have been
@@prakhar26 lol. I'm saying bruh. That's what we want. We want the best. The S-pen is already a phone seller, back it up every year with the most options, the best internals and we will be happy. Lol
I recommended the Note 10+ to all my friends. When asked why I don't have one; lack of headphone jack was the deal breaker for me. Haven't been able to make my piece with it. Find myself using a jack more than the wireless headphones. Why; the jack don't need battery to run. Note 9 was the last Note for me.
I just watched this video, and I must say I agree 100%. I have been a fan of Nokias, Motorolas and lately of Pixels. About a month ago I decided to upgrade my 2yr old Pixel 3XL because of unsatisfactory RAM and battery life, and saw a Note 10 (not Plus) for usd600 at a Hot Sale. Never have been a Samsung fan, so I watched a couple of videos (not this one) about the phone and thought "why not!". Its been a month now and I think maybe its the best phone Ive had ever. Hardware and software synchronize to provide the best mobile experience ever. And above all there is this addictive little device called the S-Pen. So yes! After 1 month I am already loving it! By the way, great video!
i just ordered again one , i have a iphone pro max , but can not say bye to a note 10 plus , i ordered a nearly new one of 12gig and 500 storage , can't wait till it comes home , great video man
I can't be more satisfied in any phone in the last 5 years more than Note10+ It has everything anyone could want, camera, battery, and style. Great overall phone even into 2020. Especially when i whip out my pen to all my IPhone users!
It has everything except a headphone jack, Iris sensor, heart rate monitor and a 90hz refresh rate and better battery standby time. But it is a excellent device
I am still enjoying my Note 10 +! I am planning to use this phone until the Note 21 arrives in 2021. That might also be a good time for my 1st phone with 5G. Thanks for the video!
Was choosing between the Note 10+ and the S20 Ultra in March. Happy I went with the former. Don't regret it at all. I like squared off phones a lot more.
Just got mine today. I've had the galaxy S8+, the J7 Crown a number of times, A10e, and then the A50. The A50 was actually comparable in a way for me to my old S8+ that I loved so much, just not as good. Now having the Note10 in my hands I'm in love and wish I had a note sooner.
I've had my note 10+ since launch and I love it. One UI was great for a time but I did return to my Nova launcher prime. For the note 20 series, I am most excited to see the possibility of a flat screen. If that returns to the note series with the normal updates to the line, it will be near flawless.
Watching it on Note 10+. Still love it. Wife still rocking my old Note 9. She loves it. I will probably switch to whatever comes next year (didn't have a desire for the Note 20).
Me: Used the 3XL, went back to the Note 10+ Used the 7T, went back to the Note 10+ Used the Pixel 4, went back to the Note 10+ Home quarantine made me love this device even more. My Summary: Got things I needed done. Made media and games enjoyable. For a longer lasting time. And boxy design all the way.
Samsung repair technician here; who also happens to be left handed and I personally dislike the placement of the buttons on the Note 10 and the Note 10 Plus and how what I assume is almost the forceful use of the Bixby button instead of a dedicated lock/power button
I have had all but 2 model year Samsung Galaxy Note Phones, My first Note was the Notell. I fell in-love with the Note as soon as my Notell got delivered. Every year since then, I did pre-order the next model year except for the Galaxy Note9. I Kept my Galaxy Note8 for 2 years and then purchased the Aura Glow Note10+. I think the Note10+ is so totally freaking awsome! 12 GB of Ram and what seems to be the bottomless pit for memory. Man, this thing has so much memory, I do a lot of video recording and take a lot of pictures.
It's always weird when a new android update makes the battery last less.. it seems that companies spend less time optimising the performance to deliver a software update than they do for a phone launch..
Absolutely on point when saying the note should be differentiated from the S series. I feel like the note release just isnt that exciting because we already have 90% of the same phone, that is alreadyy availablee for six monthss before this thing goess live. Sammy needs to do something special for the note soon.
You are right, i feel the same, i love my Note every year and i feel so bad in a such a short time when the new galaxy S comes with all that goodies. But i am still a note fan. Next time i will wait for Snapdragon here in Romania if the difference will be so big Snapdragon/Exynos. I will try to get bronze one this year. We love Samsung. :)
Same here... been a Note mania since Galaxy note 2. It's almost to impossible to appreciate another phone after a few months with phones in this series. Whenever you try to, you will find yourself utterly disappointed when a PEN moment happens and you find yourself looking for it all around the corners.
I bought, my Note 10+ 3 months after launch for $699 new with 250GB. I will say, this phone is definitely worth it for this price. I have used many Samsung phones and the S-pen is my favorite for editing photos and video on the go. Thank you for the video. Great after the buzz. People definitely missed out on the note 10+, but now we are looking forward the next best thing ( 120Hz screen).
Definitely a beast! Pre-booked the phone and using it since the day 1 of launch and totally love every bit of it! The performance, the screen, the battery, the S pen and the amazing camera prove to be worth the amount paid! Yes the only thing missing is the high refresh rate but overall it has to be the best Note ever or probably the best samsung flagship I'd say!
there's nothing like the 10 series I've owned the S10, s10e, and the note10, I love the regular note10 it's the perfect size. this may be the pound-for-pound greatest phone Samsung has ever produced.
I luv my Note 10+ better now, 2yrs later than when it was released! I'm still learning things this beast of a Phone will do.. I still get All Day Battery Life & if my "outer" screen gets scratches? I can have the "Outer Glass" replaced for $120. Many people have no idea there's a layer of glass over the Display, which cost $250- $300 installed. Ad another $60 for a new battery while they are changing your display & your still way cheaper than buying a new phone.. My Note 10+ got better battery life after 1Ui 3.1 Android 11 update. It's like a new phone now! Yes! Rock that Note 10+
I agree, I tried pixel 4xl, p40 pro, p30 pro, oneplus8, x2 pro, and other not so expensive phones, and always went back to my Note 10. Just ca not get the better "feeling" phone.
I've owned every Note since its third iteration. I currenlty own 2018's Note 9 (512/8 Gig variant) and a Note 10 Plus. I was excited for this episode of After the Buzz. Note 10 Plus is a fantastic device. I bought mine unlocked and straight from Samsung on launch day. So far, pleased with my photos, battery stamina and over all experience. A few key points; 1) I returned my red leather Samsung case as it began to have awful wear/tear after 2 weeks. My leather began to crack and discolor. 2) I began to get ads in the stock weather widget and music player. Huge no go. The only factors holding the Note line back is Samsung itself. How long will Samsung continue to support its flagships with security and OS updates? What else will Samsung do to draw a line between the S flagships and the Notes? When will Samsung stop pushing ads on their stock aps? I'm not overly excited about any further Samsung product until I see how devices like the Fold, Z Flip, Tab S6, S20 Ultra and my Note 10 Plus get treated by Samsung.
As much as I’m ok with my Note 10 plus, I think I’ll never buy Samsung phone in near future. And I used them in last 6 years. Here is why : - I upgraded from my Note9. I have to be honest - there really isn’t much improvement that I notice in my day to day usage. What I expected the most that cameras will be better - in my country there is no Snapdragon version, so if you ask for same price - deliver the same phone. - only 2 years of updates make hardware useless, don’t tell me that this processor and 12 gigs of ram can’t handle operating systems in at least next three years. Their own midrange phones get same 2 years updates, so there is some logic in flagships being supported longer period of time - Samsung depriciates their own phones, 2 flagship presentations a year (with at least 3 models) just don’t make sense. They should merge Note and S lineup and/or concentrate on delivering one great device, like Apple does, instead of releasing half baked products, like S20 ultra having autofocus problems. Note really became S model with a pen - resell price of Samsung phones became poor, unless you upgrade before every release, their phones just make bad investment - maybe I can uderstand 60Hz display on Note 10, but I feel like Samsung got lazy when it comes to cameras. Yeah, pictures are good, but they are good even on 200 bucks devices nowdays. It’s still Samsungs software, my wife has Iphone X and it’s whole another experience when it comes to cameras. On Samsung, you can still take 5 photos in same contitions and get 5 different results, but with Iphone you pretty much know what to expect - and last, but not least important - prices have gone up just too far. If I pay near 1500 bucks for device, I expect to get at least half after two years, but with this tempo of releasing phones, you can’t get half of the money even after a year... All in all, I feel that, after the S8 and Note8 we get pretty much the same stuff, just packed in different body.
Only problem is the lack of a 3.5mm jack. Dongles can’t replace the convenience of having a port on hand. For plugging into an friends car for example.
I love mine still. The only thing is I kinda wanna exchange the battery as it doesn't last as long as it did but I'm also scared the techs might break it and of course the compromised water resistance.
I got my note 10+ on Sept 6th 2019, I have had note series devices since the 2, only skipped the 5, I am pleased with my aura glow 10+ up to this very day, I will wait for the 2021 model, just because I hate the ugly back camera module
pablo alvarez agree the note 20 leaks just look ugly can’t stand that camera bump. They need to reboot the note line and stop copying the S line. Put all the new tech and please add back the headphone jack and you got the OG again no compromises.
I've had the Note 10+ as my daily driver for 9 months and it's my favorite cellular phone of all time. I have never been a fan of Samsung smartphones and would even say I low-key snickered at them, but this phone completely changed my mind. It's been completely bug-free, is easy to hold, has an amazing screen, great battery life, and is just a joy to use in general. A higher refresh rate would make it virtually perfect.
Differentiation is key, Jaime. You got it right. The note needs to actually compel people to buy it beyond the sPen, and I don't see that. The "just a galaxy with an sPen" statement still applies to this phone. Sad
Been using it for 3 years now (Exynos version) and stil perform really well. The only problem is the battery, which is common to every aging smartphones.
Glad to hear the phone is still going strong. I love all the new tech, but I find it hard to spend the money they are asking for most phones these days. I am still using a Note 4 actually. Bought it after the Note 5 was announced and the price on the 4 went down. Will be doing the same with the 10+. Once the 20 is out, I'm hoping they'll drop the price for the 10+. Even though I think it's over priced, I may opt for the 5G version since I tend to hold onto a phone for a while.
My all time favorite phone is still the Note 7, loved the design, the metallic color on the front. That was just the very best. I would have one today if they still received updates and security patches. It's just so damn odd they don't, I mean the "Fan Edition" came out, the S7 phones are still running but no updates. iPhones from 2 years earlier will still get IOS 14 later this year, just so damn odd that great Samsung devices that cost as much (now much more) only get 2 maybe 3 years updates. I honestly don't get it, not at all, not even a little. I love the Note phones, just can't have one for very long (no not going to root one).
As i right handed person I miss the note 10 button placement, screenshots were easier with 2 fingers vs just using my thumb on the s20, and the volume buttons are much easier for me to use while warching youtube
air gestures are very useful actually, you get previews of links before clicking, you can hover over things to get extra info about them. I don't understand someone who claims they "couldn't care less" about one of the greatest features of the phone. 🤯
Note is not just a phone but an emotion or else a feeling which just connects with us when we use it. It just great to use. U cannot compare a note with anything because it is playing in its own league with its s pen.
I watched this video on my Note+. Still in love with it, best phone I've ever had. I just wish, like you said, they would have gone with a high refresh rate display at the time, and maybe a better processor to handle performance and battery life, which is still great, I can't deny it. I expect great things for the Note20.
