Omg, this actually worked for me. I kept the S pen on my hand, switched on gas stove and kept it at a distance such that it my hand and hence s pen shouldn't get much hot. I did it for 3-4min and yes it does work to my extreme surprise 😀. Initially I thought it's a kind of prank but no it really works. Thank you so much for sharing 😊👍
It definitely works. At first I didn't think it would work, but when I tried it I was very surprised. After heating it for 1, 2 minutes with a hair dryer, the problem was solved when I put on the S pen to its place. I was thinking of buying a new S pen, no longer needed. Thank you so much.

My note 10 s pen before updater software working awesome on site gesture but now pen not charging p p key properly. When I Remove s pen it's charge lost withing 20 secnds . M planning new one so any idea price of new pen

Just tried it myself before using the heat gun and it worked 😂. I have been trying all the other methods and none of them worked until now. Thank you both, guys! Now let's see how long it takes until the pen stops connecting again.

I used hair dryer. It was heated well. But still negative. I went to samsumg centre and they said my pen is broken. I already purchased new one so its ok. Thank you for your video👍
It actually worked! After searching for a solution I saw your video. Decided to try warming the pen with my hands. It worked! This was a replacement pen because the old one wasn't working. Probably didn't even need the replacement.
I didn't have a hair dryer either.. i used a lighter.. and it works!!! Thanks a lot man. Do not bring the fire to touch the spen else the coating will begin to melt. Mine had a little bruise.. but works very fine. Thanks a lot man..
(Trying to explain without getting technical and it's not working :P ) Probably reflowing solder there I'm guessing. Inside the pen should be a circuit, and the conductivity between the parts is locked in by solder. If you heat a circuit high enough but not too high (and this is always a risk!) it can become a tiny bit liquid-y for a few moments, but stick to its connections because it doesn't stick to anything on the board that isn't made of the connection material. So the solder connections pretty much re-do themselves. Or it messes up. Or other parts of the circuit burn up / overheat and become unusable. Again, it's a risk.

Thank u very much.i had same issue.my s pen of galaxy note 10 plus did not connect.when i watched this video i already had blower heater besides me as here the temp is in minus,i xposed the s pen to the blower heat for few seconds and this really worked for me.the s pen gets connected and now i can enjoy air gestures.earlier i thought he is gonna to prank us😃
It works!... i can now use it to draw and open apps BUT still not detected and still can not use as remote. It became just a normal stylus without the smart functions. Thanks anyway
First time ever since my S-Pen decided to disconnect with my Note 10+, it showed some signs of life by connected again. However the joy did not last long, as soon as I pull the S-Pen out of the phone, it disconnected again. However, thank you for your video as it was like an indication on how the S-Pen could be fixed. I'll try again on fixing it focusing on the heating methods.

I tried with a high powered heat gun, but I was scared to get it too close. I'll try again with a hair dryer as well as a precision heat gun like yours to focus the heat properly. The SMD station will be cheaper than the S Pen. I'll update after trying one or both. Thank you... One word of advice for you, PLEASE CLEAN YOUR SCREEN!

Unfortunately, it didn't work. I tried to heat the pen and the slot as much as possible without destroying it, but unfortunately, no dice. It's kind of weird, though. Once in a while, it does manage to connect for a few seconds. The battery level of the s pen starts jumping up and down between 40 and 100 per cent, changing every second, then suddenly it just disconnected and never connected again. I think I will have to bite the bullet and get a new S Pen, ridiculously expensive as it is, about 70 USD. I didn't use the feature much, but I can't bear to think my beautiful phone is crippled. Hopefully, the new one will work and keep working. Thank you, though. Nice of you to put up this video and reply to my comment. Stay safe, man!
Yes it's working but i know how, Actually it's battery problem with s pen When we hote it battery will boost and it's start working, . . . U can chak battery status in air action when u connect your s pen after hitting it
i don't had heat gun so i have try it on flam . because my spen had same problem. but unfortunately my spen have burn out due to high temperature. i have losted my original new spen🥺😢😥😥😥😭😭😭😭😭😭😢

Estou tendo o mesmo problema depois da atualização. Li em outros lugares que a atualização queimou o capacitor da S Pen. Se for isso, não tem atualização que corrija e o jeito é comprar outra. Na verdade, eu não estou disposto a isso e prefiro mobilizar a comunidade toda pra forçar a Samsung a reparar esse dano que ela mesma causou depois da atualização. Se eles não se pronunciarem vamos fazer um mutirão no reclame aqui e consumidor(ponto)gov pra que eles nos reparem pelos danos.
This is crazy! My air command is working, but the screen is not responding to the touch of the spen tip. Using airdryer to blow the spen. And it works, but not too sensitive. What logic is this? Thanks anyway
I try every solutiin provided on youtube... your solution is gud but not worked for me... then i go to service center.. and they told me to replace spen... which cost of 3200 indian rs...
I have same problem on my note 9. So i tried this and bluetooth is working again. But phone doesnt react to button on s pen and hovering pen above screen is registred as a touch. So there is definitely something wrong with my s pen. I need to buy new one anyway.

Попробовал прогреть - подключился cg'y/ Через 20 сек потерял соединение. Несколько повторений - тот же результат. Поставил на 4 минуты в морозилку. Подключается и разрыв соединения. Пойду попробую его перегреть. Либо работает - либо нет телефонный с пен... Результат напишу!
Try to clean it with isopropyl alcohol.Pour some isopropyl alcohol and press/release the button for a few times.Blow it for a couple of seconds and let it try.That might work
