SAME! I got the full 800$ for my S10 when I traded it in for my S21 Ultra cause it was in perfect condition thanks to my Otterbox Commuter case. Got the Commuter on my S21 Ultra rn and there isn't so much as a scratch on my phone. Very good premium build and desighn. Won't use any other brand 💯
I have a few of defender, it save my note 8 from dropping about 20-30 times - 2 1/2 years. However, the last drop happened last week ,my note 8 could not survive this time. The screen crack at the right corner. But overall i quite impress its durability, i drop it almost every month but it still survive ,most of drop happen in my work place such as falling from table to hard floor, falling in the bathroom. 6 Now , i change my new phone to note 20 ,i hope defender case will surely protect my new note as always. I recommend you guy to change new case every 6-8 months because the material start to degrade after 6 months. Especially during covid ,i always use alcohol spray over the case, it accelerate the degradation of case.
So literally the ONLY difference is the antimicrobial and a slight difference in outer texturing and THIS is what justifies the price difference and the "pro"? Seems like a cash grab for people afraid of sneezing on their phones. Smh.
So what's exactly the difference between the 2 why would I buy the pro over just a regular defender , how do the audio sound with the top speaker with the case on.
I have the defender, and never break the phone, and I drop it very often, walking, holding it, of a table when I get out of my car, it won't break. The lines are the only difference, it supposed to be to add grip, but they already are grippy. It's more of a gimmick in the lines. Low key makes it harder to clean than the rubber plain one.

Hello. What about the sound of the speakers once the case is put on? The bottom speaker looks pretty open but what about the top speaker? How does that audio get out?
I have the defender case for galaxy note 20 ultra and it is a great case.. I work in a aggressive environment and the case does its job perfectly.. Very impressed
So in essence, the difference is that the Pro has a anti-microbial build or coating and ridges as a visual landmark ? ( apparently they both have the same pricetag )
Pro- Horizontal lines on back of case, with anti- Microbial treatment( same smell? or anti microbe product added to the case in molding process?) Regular- No lines. just still heavy-duty .
How is the grip difference? Which is easier to remove from your pocket or do the grooves on defender pro not make a difference? I'm slightly concerned about dirt accumulating in them but I can't exactly tell how deep they are either.

You good man. But I got the ZAGG temp glass. You put it on before you start with the otter box process. But if you get it from bestbuy or your mobile provider sometimes they out the temp on for you.
I have the regular Defender on my note 20 ultra along with glass screen protector and the case is nice but the glass protector cracked withing a week and I can no longer down swipe to open the status bar. There's no fix from Samsung to enlarge the status bar so this case is no good...is there a better case for the note 20 ultra?

I bought the defender for my note 20 ultra, the phone is loose in the case, it falls of the case by itself? Seems like the case too big? Anyone with the same issue?
