I really wish these guys wouldn't destroy phones for no particular reason with stuff like metal mallets. Theses screens WILL CRACK. This isn't a test its just a waste of money. These phones are not made to be abused like this and I find this as an unscientific and pointless video. It proves nothing that everyone didn't already know. That is if you beat a phone it will break.
***** it doesn't exist. They do not make phones out of tungsten carbide or hardened steel. A knife will scratch the hell out of the side of any phone. The only thing that can be done is getting one that hides it better
guys to follow up, i just installed LineAge OS that is Nougat. Here is a link -forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/galaxy-note-3-exynos-android-development/7-1-xsm-n900-unofficial-cyanogenmod-14-t3526992 . Please note this is only for the international exynos version that is SM-N900
***** I know what you're saying, but still, I mean c'mmon. Just the mere thought of someone saying no purchasing a cell phone because it failed to pass a knife test or a sledge hammer test is baffling. Yes cell phones should be durable, long lasting, and so on, but I mean c'mmon folks it's a cell phone for godness sake. Things break and get scratched, it's nature. Accept it, brush your teeth with Crest Whitening and move on. :)
Can't see an other reason why someone wanna have a samsung other then for destruction. And NO im not a apple fan boy and NO i have no iphone. I have an HTC One best android phone you can buy!
I do not understand the point of these videos. Honestly if someone came at me with a knife I doubt I would be defending myself with my phone. So how often does a knife really come in contact with a phone? I guess next time you should shoot it with a gun and see if it survives...
Me. I got my Note 3 in 2013 and I'm still in love with it XDDD Besides it still works perfectly, I dropped my phone so many times and it doesn't have any scratch yet xD
This happened to me the other day I accidently fell on a hammer with my phone in my pocket then managed to get up, the phone must have fell out my pocket before I stood up. then I leant on the kitchen bench and didn't realise the new block of knifes I bought of ebay were still there, and as I leaned a bit just to see If all my limbs were attached from the horrific fall I knocked the knife set and it fell straight on my phone, but if I'd seen this video before the incident I might have been able to save it.
Technically I understand the knife test... But a hammer test? Well at least the African children who died acquiring the minerals to make the phone you just destroyed were entertained.... Oh wait, they don't have RU-vid. Well at least Koney and Samsung are all smiles right now.
Fall on , not in , and floor not flour , and stairs not stirs , you don't even know how to spell words !! anyway , let it be as you assumed , what kind of point did you get? AND WAS IT NECESSARILY TO BREAK THAT PHONE ????
There is no point to this whatsoever. It doesn't matter what the phone is made of, if you hit it with a hammer, it will break. This shouldn't need to shown in a demo. A simple drop test is plenty.
ANTIBIOTIC He is making profit destroying these products (RU-vid Money) All his videos go viral (well not really but 1m+ views) because people want to see expensive things being destroyed. And 1 million people watch an Ad when they come watch this video minus about 250,000 adblock users = So he possibly got his "wasted" money back. maybe even doubled
What good does cutting a phone with a knife and hitting it with a hammer do for anyone. Its not like the everyday person cuts their phone of hits it with a hammer. I mean I guess it could help show its durability or quality, but thats it.
Well this test is funny. I managed to scratch my note 3 the FIRST DAY i had it in my pocket!! its screen is awfull! i had a flip cover on it, and yet after 1 hour walk with a doggie i came back and the screen had 3 tiny dots on the screen... DEEP ones, which i could feel with my fingernails... duh.
Yamin Yussof NAH ofcourse not. i had it ONCE in my pocket for 1hour exactly. i used a FLIP COVER with it. thats all.. no keys.. no coins... NOTHING inside my pocket... :(( i have no idea how that could have happened! i never scratched my previous devices THAT fast... (htc hd2, sgs2, sgs3)... i have sent my note 3 back to the shop for warranty. cause its not normal in my opinion. i was very carefull with it... maybe i scratched it with the sPen? ... T_T... really... no idea... i never even put my device on a screen while on the table.. just on something firm... like a book or leather plate..
Making videos like this, this guy is pulling at least $50 grand per year if not more. That is his reason. As for making money, you'll have to do research or if you ask, he might tell you his secret.
they get a phone by company.. and said by company to show that there mobile are quiet strong.. and samsung company would not be poor by loosing 1 phone
Knife: to see how many scratches it can stand (in this case gorilla glass 3) hammer:to show how strong the glass is (in this case note 3 gorilla glass 3)
Cavan Goh por que lo hiso esta loco nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo porecito el telefono
Dude you are so fortunate to get all of these devices. I have to work for them, and I treasure them. Not destroy it. Still at least we know if the device is durable before buying it :P
PiBZ314 not really, the guy actually pays for the phones. Bought fresh from the stores. then he does the tests. he does this stuff with his own free will. sad to see the phone getting crushed tho =o="
for me im thinking one thousand times to buy or not to buy this phone if im buy i lost the money for buy food for this month if im not buy the discount 10% will end this month and you just destroy this phone without feeling regret...
Some people would pray to have that type of technology and you're on RU-vid ruining those things! I can not believe this! If you have enough money to keep buying yourself new and EXPENSIVE phones why don't you donate money to charity! or at least give the new phone you're about the ruin to somebody who cant afford one!
