Im still looking for any android phones that can take selfies as good as the iPhone because honestly that is what i actually really care about... Androids are now definitely better than iphones in other aspects but the selfie camera is just always dissapointing :')
My son in law has the S20 and I have the IPhone 11. I was surprised last weekend when his camera performed much better than mine. In particular, photos with overhead lights or background lighting from a small garage door window had streaks across them in my iPhone pics, but the S20 pics were unaffected. The S20 portrait mode outshined my iPhone there too.
I like that Samsung gives you options. I just switched from the iPhone 7 plus to the galaxy s20 a month ago and love finding lots of new things with the phone. I am a simple phone user but love to mess around and find new things. Samsung gives you that.
I just went from iPhone 11 to Galaxy S20. I think I liked the pictures on the iPhone better, but its absolutely insane how many more things the galaxy can do. Overall I didn't enjoy the iphone because it restricts you on so many things.
Hella facts. I also had an iphone once and switch back to Samsung because of the tech freedom. Free music, free movies, etc. The Apple Store and iTunes suck balls.
I agree, camera is what makes me miss iphpne but back when i went iphone, was always searching for android phones 😂, bought a cheap one while i had apple and ended using the android, in the end i ditched iphone and got samsung. Thinking about s20 though as they have pink color too 😊
idk if you use snapchat, but i am wanting to change from an iphone xr for the s10+, s20+ or s21+, is the snapchat camera really bad?? or is it really over-exaggerated
Really wondering how Google Cam would work with that Samsung sensor, maybe not a bad idea to do a video comparison on it too. Good video, personally it will end up on what people prefer. White balance, contrasty or more realistic representations, darker shadows or lighten up images. But you definitely can't go wrong picking either of this devices, average user is definitely gonna be satisfied with the results
@@uday9918 they did actually my front camera doesn't look like that and I have the S20 I think he may have the beauty filter or face smoothening on without knowing.
s t a n b l a c k v e l v e t really? I wanna make the move from iPhone to Samsung s20 but I’m really put off by the front camera on the Samsung. Does it look better with the filter off?
Excellent comparison, both are amazing 📷 's. They are pretty equal in many ways. I like the s20 alittle bit better and offers a few more things. But I would be happy with either or? You did a fantasic job!
S20 has super steady video stabilization at 1080p 60fps. And nothing beats that. I know iSheep would say why not in 4k 60fps. The maximum resolution iPhone users get to watch contents is 1080p anyway. Lol
@@najajajwwurhdb8483 but ios users always brag over thier 5 year software update while samsung has 2 and they dont even use the 5 year softwares and just keep on upgrading 1 to 2 years
The difference in philosophy is really shown. My wife has the 11 and I have the 20 FE 5g., so I think I can speak to this. I am also a bit of a camera buff, owning a Sony A6100 with 3 lenses, and the tiny but impressive outdoor-handy Sony HX90 30x pocket cam. The iPhone does night and video better...almost no question. In day and in night shots, the Samsung brightens more in almost every scene, and that is sometimes good, but several times can lose desired detail. There are times when bright beats detail, and times when detail is really crucial. Where I think a huge vote toward the Samsung swings is its extended telephoto range. As this video shows, the 11 already loses even up to 5-10 power on the Samsung. The kicker is the available 10/20/30x which on the screen "live" as you shoot look like they are going to range from poor to useless, but then in the actual result, you see Samsung does a pretty decent job processing , considering that this is digital zoom, not optical. My camera days are waning rapidly. I believe if the two phones are already this good, the future is that for people even as photo oriented as me, mainly travelers who now carry "real cameras" for a few special conditions too good to miss, the extra weight and possible theft is going to make us go with the phone only. I already leave the A6100 and its 3 lenses at home on most trips. EDIT: This is actually Jan 2022 as I write, and already the S22 is rumored to be bringing a "generational leap" to smartphone photography.
Hard to say which is better. The iphone 11 has better contrast on the main camera while the s20 is often too flat or muted. However this makes the s20 do better with really bright spots, having less overexposed highlights. The best would be to take the iphone image and photoshop the s20 over the bright spots.
The S20 with its 120ghz screen refresh rate, and the camera, just takes the term "Buttery smooth" seriously. Where as, the iPhone with its outdated 60ghz screen refresh rate makes the term "Buttery smooth" loose it meaning. Either way, both are definatley winners in any game versus mode.
lol, samsung just realeased the s20, its not like the 120hz has been on the market for a long time to 60hz be outdated, the new iPhones will have it, i think.
@@misaelsouza7356 I've no idea about 120Hz. But I've used an iPhone 11 and oneplus 7T pro with 90Hz side by side and I barely noticed difference. Despite of all those numbers gotta admit iPhone's screen are super smooth.
Awesome video! Obviously they both look great but iPhone still does better with people skin tones and detail. I personally like the zoom feature of the s20 which is more my style that's why I went with the s20 ultra. But iPhone video and pics of people is second to none
Night time shorts and videos slightly better in iPhone 11 rest is best in S20.. Also you have more versatility in S20 like Super slow mo, pro photo and video mode, 30x zoom, recoding from front and back camera in single shoot etc..
It would be nice if it was in the stock camera app, but you can also record multiple lenses on the iPhone with a 3rd party app designed for manual video recording.
I have a s20+ personally i like the software better because it's more user friendly in my opinion. However i for sure have nothing against Apple and i respect Iphones they are powerful phones made for the office life for sure.
should i buy samsung s20 plus exynos 990 or iphone 11. I am very confused since samsung offers such great specifications besides apple which is a name of its own for its performance and camera!🙄i am not a hard core gamer just an average user! just want my phone to be great deal for myself for a longer period of time! please reply with your honest opinion on this what to buy since they both are coming for almost same price for now.
I compared my wife's s20+ vs my s10+ at low light situations, my wife's s20+ nailed it each time. Better noise and color, both in auto and night mode. I can only meet the s20+ quality in pro mode on my s10+.
I’ll always take a more accurate camera over one that “looks good”. I’m on a Xs Max right now, and I think it does a good job (for the most part) at making things look accurate to real life. If it fails to capture what I’m seeing, I usually just edit it in Lightroom/Darkroom (I find it funny that the two editing apps I use have really similar names) to look the way that my eyes see it
Unbiased opinion here. Disclaimer I am an Android user but not a fanboy of any brand. Based on the video alone, both phones are great with pictures and videos. You really can't go wrong with either for BASIC camera pictures and video. Very little differences when it comes to sharpness and color. Most is a matter of personal preferences and can be adjusted with post editing. However, as a total package, I will give it to the S20 because of the zoom features and a better wide angle lens.
I definitely agree - I think everyone would be happy with the results of the individual phones. But the S20 of course offers more overall with hardware & software
First: always try to explain in which mode you are recording (for example, 1080p 30 fps), at night if you are using night mode or not. Second: the videos on s20 were all out of focus and you said nothing about it, I think you should have given your analysis. I would say there was something wrong with you device or configurations. Lastly, i would really apreciate if you wold show de shutter speed in the photos, especially at night time. Samsung has been really bad at taking photos of moving subjects because of the long exposure time, I would like to know if they correct it. Anyway, good job e continue with the work!
*TOo much sharpening* The Samsung s20 I can see so much over sharpening around things, most certainly in low light video. It looks horrid. I believe, although the s20 has a tad more detail, I believe this is mostly due to the aggresive sharpening. And if you just sharpen your photo from the iphone slightly You'll have the same look. But I believe the photos and DEFF the video look best on the iphone. I can see how the touch of clearness may seem nice to people on the s20. But in not ideal situations that sharpening can look very contrasty, and nasty.
Indeed samsung has most features but they are not working properly yet. The live video is still not good. Iphone has 3-4features but those ones work perfect!
i think it would be interesting to compare both phones taking photos “professionally”, like taking cinematic photographies. since they would be compared at their 100%. anyway, great video :)) s20 performed better at some locations, but the iphone 11 seems to give more accurate scenarios, while samsung seems to be kinda off
Jessie Birax I get a lot of people say that S20 has more details but the iPhone 11 has a lighter camera.Look it’s just my opinion which you can’t change.
It's unfortunatelly bad. If you can get it with Snapdragon then take it, otherwise not. Iphone 11 is also bad, very outdated screen and design with notch and thick bezels. I would wait to see what other phones come out next.
Just got upgraded from iPhone X to iPhone 11 Pro not much difference.. front camera has weird mask filter it’s blurry, grainy indoors, and looks like iPhone 6 to me..in daytime it shows pores and ages you compared unnaked eye.. unflattering.. I think gonna return get s20
Based on the main camera s20 won over iphone 11 because it gives more details, clear, and brighter pictures. When it comes to a selfie camera iphone wins because it gives more realistic and natural color of your face.
iPhone tends to clip highlights at certain scenes. More realistic result, more refined tuning of hardware available. Video is better. Samsung tends to clips blacks in this s20 series. More eye pleasing result in many scenes, may not always be what you like. Larger sensors are helping here. Video still not quite as good as the iPhone, detail is definitely lacking if super steady mode is used. They are very close in daylight stills
Everyone who has an iPhone will say iPhone. Everyone who has a Samsung will say Samsung lol. In actuality, I thought the iPhone was better and had a True Tone while Samsung looks more edited and exaggerated! iPhone all the way!!!
I got galaxy s20 5G and Mi Note 10. I like the Mi Note 10 better so my da is using the Samsung. S20 has way better chipset but I'm not a hardcore gaming so I can still pretty much do anything I like with my Xiaomi. Way better camera in my opinion and longer battery life.
Bought s20 couple days ago and i dont like it after iphone 6s. Video is sucks, luggs when you zoom it 🤮 But fair to say phone is really fast and photos are realy good 👍
Baby Yoda if you are bullshiter dont judge me same way. I like the design and photos, but not focus and video at all. I dont hate the Samsung, i hate bla bla bla people like you
Grrr the S20 has superior optics but iPhone has superior image processing. It shows in every image that they each have their own advantages. And it’s hard to choose. But of course, I personally choose iPhone because of its App Store and processing power
s20 video is so much blurry-er? so much more detail in the iphone. but in pics i think the s2. Except seflies. what is up with that skin smoothing and pinkness.
Went from the 11 to the s20 and I will admit the videos off that iphone are pretty dang good but the s20 makes me realize how far ahead android is in today's world
I got it and returned it. If you are now spoiled with an Amoled screen the transition to the cheap low ppi LCD of iphone will hurt your eyes. The model is outdated, huuuge bezels and ugly notch. The camera is good, battery also excellent.
Dude, you are biased towards Samsung for sure!! In the pics you have in this video, the iPhone looked better to me in EVERY pic, plus, I have and iPhone 11 and a Note, so the iPhone is better, period!!!
