I have the S20 and I can say that it is definitely a great device all around. All day battery life for me and is perfect in the hand

Who ever plans to go for Exynos version beware Battery life and performance is too bad when compared to snapdragon.😑

Long story short, avoid the Exynos variants. There's definitely overheating issues in it.

Iam watching this on a regular S20 and I can only say great phone. Display is amazing, camera makes great photos and the phone is really quick. Battery life is normal but for such a screen probably great.

Finally an official review for the S20! Thanks! By the way I know that the price is too much but I think it is somewhat okay. Iphones here in my country are very expensive too. The IPhone 11 was introduced with a $700 price-tag, but here it costs $900 (64GB). The Iphone 11 Pro and Pro Max are more expensive, like $1,200+ and $1400+. The S20 costs $1000 here. S20+ is $1100 and the Ultra costs $1,400. In my opinion, the S20 is a great phone but you just have to pay that price. I was a bit disappointed about the battery life but when you think about it, having the BEST display on a phone is really cool and nice. Just buy it if you really want or need it. Phones nowadays are not just for communication anymore. They have evolved to be your mini computer that you can use to entertain yourself mostly in a day and a great camera. Therefore it is an investment and not a waste of money unless you don't know how to utilize everything that it has to offer.

All the new S series look underwhelming so far, unfortunately. S10 looks better value at the reduced prices. Incremental upgrades and still going global with Exynos doesn't sound worth the price still.

Note that Samsung phones are really picky when it comes to headphone jack adapters. You pretty much are required to buy only the Official Samsung one because any other brand USB-C to Headphone adapter won't work.

This phone reminds me of Galaxy S6, which I owned. It was quality hardware throughoutly and nice looking, but that darn battery life! I wonder why battery life hasn't been top priority for the basic S-models.

Please do a comparison to the S20 SD865 version, especially performance and battery life!

I have the S20+ and 120hz is amazing. It feels more responsive than S10.

Samsung needs to stop giving us that awful Exynos on their flagship, it's not fair for us costumers paying 1000+ bucks only to get the worse chipset in existence. especially for battery life, it's trash. all their flagship should be using Snapdragon. The nararator never mentioned if the S20 has a 3.5 mm audio jack. One source on Ebay under specifications says no 3.5mm jack. What are your thoughts on this?

Why you are not using 60fps in 2020? If your main camera doesn't support 4K@60fps, then use the phone, which you just reviewed. It can record 4K@60fps.

Its not really worth jumping from S10 to S20, the S10 is even better imo overall better battery life and plus with 3.0 head jack

I don't understand the complaints against the battery, the s20 lasts me all day and more with average use. Unless your face is glued to your phone for 12 hours straight then yeah its a problem

It doesn't make sense that the S20 is sometimes better in benchmarks than the Ultra because this has absolutely NOTHING to do with screen size.

Dont buy the Exynos Version. I have it and it overheats quite often while i dont even use it intensively (no games etc). Sadly battery life seems to be worse too

If you don't care about 120hz and more about battery and a 3,5mm jack, the s10 for just €600,- is in my opinion a far better choise. Especcially for your wallet. What is the purpose of this phone anyway, if it is more a downgrade from the s10 in terms of productivity? So many great mid-range smartphones these days..

Funny how NO RU-vid reviewer mentions how terrible the akg earphones sound when listening to music. This man said the "S20 has just 3 cameras on the back". Geez man, how many do you need? And, how many phones have 4 cameras on the back?

How do I know if got the exynos version or the snapdragon one?

Today I charged the phone at 9.30 and at 18:00 it is empty but with heavy apps like Binance exchange running at least 5 hours outside on the sun with max brightness and 120 hz. Not that bad. After 12 days the phone has addapted and battery life is better than in the beginning.

For all the people who say exynoss sucks. Shut upp that is bullshit. I have exynos 990 s20+ for over 3 weeks and it performce amazing. It is fast and very quick in launching apps. The only time you probebally will notice any difference to 865 is if you are a really heavy gamer. I am not and most of the people are not. Also battery life is indeed not so great, especially on 120hz and yes 865 will do that better. But that is not a reason to not go with s20 exynos because it is still the fastes phone chip i ever touched (all the phones will also feel slow after using 120hz).

The headphone Jack is not on it u gotta use the same port as the charger pssssss what a horrible idea i guess they copying the iPhone 👎

You should clarify which version you are using before you talk about thermal throttling. The exynos is kinda bad (tad bit), the Snapdragon not so.

Though the gorilla glass back part is nice, the only thing I hate about it is you can't put any protective tempered glass on it they it curved out. I'm not the type of person who put case on my phones.

Note that the S20 exynos 990 version heats up a lot more than the snapdragon 865 model (see mrwhosethebosses video for that) the snapdragon 865 model is almost better in every way.
