Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra vs Galaxy Note 10 Plus - Full Comparison 

Correction to video: When comparing cameras I put the specs for S20 Ultra over Note 10 Plus and vice versa. Just be aware.

I'll stick to my note 10+ for a long time. It deserves some years of use

I love my note 10 plus it takes more than a camera and good 2 years before 5G is usable maybe the note 21. The note 10 plus still a beast

I ended up getting the note 10 plus as I was coming from a note 8. The s20 ultra does not really merit its price for what you getting.

I went with the Note 10 Plus, was able to pick up the 512GB version for less than the S20 Plus. Same reasons as you pointed out. Thanks for your videos!!

I have ordered the Note 10 plus today and yes S20 Ultra had been in the competition. Why I decided against the S20 Ultra also explains why I do not wait for the Note 20 plus. My Note and Galaxy S experience so far. I had my first Note encounter with the original Note followed by the Note 4 (best I ever had). Did I used the pen? No, not in a countable way. So why Note? The Size ☺️ and as I use big phones for such a long time, I hold them different to most people, that's also why I found some positioning of buttons and fingerprint sensors more logical than 'stand users' or even professional 'reviewers'. As the Note 7 burned itself out of the game and the Note 8 impressed me not so much, I decided to go with the 'ordinary' counterpart the S9 plus. It had the size, that I were looking for and as I weren't using the S-Pen, I believed that it would be the logical way. Now, as the color plating of the phone is beginning to rip off, I were looking for a successor. Why not S20? I must admit that I do not like the rounded edges on my S9+. First point, some find it more comfortable, as I won't hurt the palm as much while holding it, but I do not hold my phones in that way, as I already mentioned above, and for me I miss the extra millimeters on the side. Second point, I like the "more" of the screen and the "sharper" edges for full screen pictures and movies. I am born 71, so I still remember tv screens with round edges, I wouldn't buy a flatscreen today that uses these round edges as a design element. I am neither a pro gamer nor a scroll junkie, so 120 hz is of no interest for me. RU-vid is limited to 60 hz at the moment and movies on all streaming platforms use the movie standards 24 or 30 hz (except maybe for some of those 60 hz no real success tries), but for the useless to me it restricts the display resolution and reduces significantly the screen on time. And if I do not going to use it, it is not a pro argument. Leaving the camera setup. First I have to say, that I do not like the design of the big and real "outstanding" design of the S20 Ultra camera module and after some comparison reviews I do not see the clear and ground shifting benefit of the newer module. 100x zoom does not produce better images from what I can tell, as is doing the 8k video with worse stabilisation than 4k. So both of these are more marketing gimmicks as real world functions, leaving the camera setup of the Note 10 plus quite comparable. So the con of a bulky camera with no usable pro functionality on both, the S20 Ultra and expectedly the Note 20 plus as well. The Note 10 plus stylus can be used as a remote trigger for the camera, that is all I ever wanted. It has the sharp edges I like and a decent screen on time (I have to use the exynos thanks to Samsung). So I am finally back to my Notes and why wait for something I don't believe to fulfill my requirements more than the Note 10 plus already does.

I have Note 10 plus aura Glow 512 GB,so I'm satisfied because I bought it 1000 euro. But I think it's not necessarily to upgrade to S20 ultra. Maybe Note 11plus But every smartphone have 2 years good performance and capabilities to do every process and order. So it's up to you guys! If you have extra money you can do it ,if you wanna be logical choose the Note 10

I Have note 9, several advantages over those: More than half the price of each of those, back finger print sensor, real button under the screen on the inferior border of the screen and headphone jack. I can't see real use for those high resolution cameras of N10 or S20 ultra that justify the upgrade, by now... i will wait for at least note 11 (if no major upgrades there, i will stick with N9 for more time)

After watching so many video's on the better choice between these two phones, I am glad I watched your video. I thought I wanted the s20, but have always liked the Note better. Thank you for an awesome video !

Very good review!!! As a loyal Note owner I 💯 need that Spen. That's the only thing that makes it unique above all other smartphones. That's why when I saw the S20 Ultra in person I wasn't blown away because I don't really need that zoom and my Note 10 plus is speedy enough for me. I also compared the camera quality of the S20 Ultra and the Note side-by-side and I noticed very minimal difference. Especially I recently got the new Software update it got even faster. So, no I stay loyal to the Note and am very excited for the Note 20 series I know it will be the *Ultimate Beast!!!*

Look at the images carefully at 8:14, the Note 10 takes definitely the best picture.

S20 lineup is awesome, but I love my Note 10 Plus, personally I like the boxy feel and I know is not a big change from one to another!

Ultra: better screen, power, sleekness, performance, sound quality, response and camera. Battery life has been fantastic for me. Switch from note 10+ and the difference is significant.

I just bought both, the S20+ and Note 10+. My daughter likes the Note with S-Pen. Both are excellent phones. The advantages of the S20+ aren't a big deal to me. I don't need 8k video or use the 120 hz display (to save battery) and we don't have 5G around here. I was kind of jealous of the Note 10+, it just feels better to hold and has the stylus, but the feel would depend on the case you get. The settings and operation are nearly identical. So the deciding factor might be the S-Pen. I came from a Galaxy S6 so I'm blown away by my phone. She is also totally thrilled with the Note 10+, which she uses professionally at her job. Both have beautiful displays. I will say that both of our plus models are almost getting too large to use one-handed or put in a pocket. Be careful about going to the S20 Ultra, some people, including me, think it is too large. The S20+ with a slim Speck case barely fits in a pants cargo pocket. I went to Best Buy, not to buy, but to see the sizes before I bought. I'm happy with the 20+.

Hi Saki. Jose here from Puerto Rico. First time commenting here. I'm a little confused since I own the Note 10+ and you said that it has no 5G. If that's the case, why do I see a 5G signal on the top right-hand side of my phone? My carrier here in Puerto Rico is AT&T and they are playing with the 5G signal.

Hi saki i love your videos alot very nice job keep it up,i want to upgrade my s9+ and i ended between note 10 + and s9+ , i love the stylus as i need sometimes to write some notes but at the same time the 120 hz and the new camera is attractive, money is no problem here for me its the same price with subscription here , as a daily user is the camera of note + enough and is the difference much ?

Should I upgrade from S10 plus? It's just 6 months old and I'm happy with it. Just portrait mode pics looks a bit soft (samsung softens human skin). I mainly shoot portraits of me and my friends. Also I like higher refresh rate display on my mom's OnePlus 7 pro. It's actually very smooth. On the other hand, this phone costs 1 Lakh here in India, it's insane. If I buy it, I will have to sell both my S10 plus and iPhone X to get the ultra. Plz suggest!!

Upgraded from Note 3 to Note 10 plus - sometimes i think i could have bought note 20 ultra but the thing is i don't need that camera and i don't want to carry such big camera in my daily life and i love my note 10 + as the results of cameras are too similar to each other Its just the samsung update issue i have that samsung haven't added a good night mode on note 10 + yet

I upgraded to the s20 ultra 128 from the note10+ for one major reason, the 700.00 trade in and the 225.00 extras. I will be upgrading to the note20 cause I love the S-Pen. Great review thanks oh ya forgot to mention 5G iam on t-mobile and have 5G at my house and also have t-mobile home internet on the 600mh signal which is also great!

Statistically speaking the S-20 Ultra is the better phone, but the Note10 + is still banging, I currently own a Note10 +, and the Note has two advantages, the S-pen and 256gb of base storage!!👍🏾👏🏾😀

Best conclusion and real questions that we should ask ourselves. Personally, recently switched from the iPhone 11 Pro Max to the Z Flip but that phone felt so fragile, I've pre ordered an S20 Ultra and, in the meantime got an excellent deal on a Note 10+... After using the Note for one week now, I think I will return the S20 Ultra once it arrives early next week as I don't feel it's worth the upgrade. And, as you said so well, I don't remember last time I zoomed 30x and I couldn't care less about the 8K video capabilities...

I had the s20 ultra for 2 months but I missed my SPen that I've been using since the Note 2. I'm back with my Note 10 Plus 5g and I'm happy. I only used the 100x zoom just to show people but I did use the 30x zoom quite often but I prefer the SPen over the 120hz screen and the zoom options but both phones are great.

Have used both. Note 10 Plus is better... design wise and due to the S pen feature. It looks different from the other 1000+ models. Plus.. if you compare the sound... the stereo speakers on Note 10+ are better.. better separation of sound and overall sounds richer.

I have the s20 ultra. I upgraded from the s9 plus. For me I have not found a reason to have the "s pen" personally. I had an upgrade and I took it as far up as possible. I enjoy the flatter screen of the s20 ultra as well.

I got note 10 plus from xs max love my note maybe upgrade in a few years maybe I love the pen but I am interested in what the note 20 will bring to the table

The ATE6 update for S20 Ultra is amazing. It has hhuge improvements and it's fully perfect. Search it up.

So basically like every year: if you like the s pen stick to the note if you like(whatever whistle they added for the following year) on the S phone get the S phone..... could of been a 30 second video.

I rather keeping my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ , there's no big difference between the two. Personally, I like 60Hz display & weight of the cellphone. I love mine S-pen.

The S20 Ultra is taller than the Note 10+, but the Note 10+ is that much wider.

I am confused on the specs of the camera lens. what is said is not what is displayed on this video. you say note 10 has 12mp and s20 has 108 and then you say that the note 10 has 10 x zoom and s20 has 100x zoom The image in this video shows the opposite of what you are saying.

Chose not to upgrade from the Note 10+. It does everything I need. The few improvements on the S20 don't warrant the upgrade. Thanks for the comparison.!

Not gonna lie the S20 ultra screen looks a little better. I can notice it when looking at the green on the trees. S20 has slightly better colour I think. Hardly noticeable tho both great devices. Sadly I live in the UK so I need to wait till the 13 to get mine 😫 the pain

You got the ppi wrong it's 511, and you didn't mention the faster ram, and you didn't mention the twice as fast touch response time. Nor that that the ultra storage reads and writes way faster, and also you forgot to mention the way stronger aluminum. And that's the only things I noticed while not really paying attention.

@7:14 Looks like you have the specs/phones reversed here. For a brief moment, the camera specs which I thought were for the Note 10 plus were going to convince me to choose the Note and not the Ultra before I figured out it had to be accidental. There IS a Note 10 pluse 5G available which I believe is relatively new, since I was just looking at its specs via Samsung ad site for it. For me it's all about the S Pen, and apparently this is just a regular Note 10 plus and not the 5G version which is a better version in every way a well.

note 10+ here. I do not buy s20 as you only need 120 + hz for games. and it is not a solution to play fps on a phone or similar. maybe it looks a little cleaner on the screen when you swipe down fast or in fast games. my opinion is that if you want to play you have to have a tablet +10 "and +120 hz
