I always try for an OEM first, and if they're not available, an aftermarket. They're all just as clear so the photos will look great again, but the aftermarket ones will often not be as strong as the OEM and will break pretty easily.
Instructions were perfect! I just replaced one on a coworker's phone following this video. I did use a heat gun on low temp. Very easy. (Even for an "older" lady. lol) Although the guys in the office were skeptical.
