When they say God works in mysterious ways i believe it now. Since the start of this year ive been having network issues on my s22 ultra. I googled every where and read many posts about the issue all blaming an update. I had finanly given up. Until 2 weeks when i wanted to remove my sim on my phone and i didnt have the sim tool,i used some clippers only to break the sim holder in half and with my sim stuck in my phone i pried them out which damaged those pins that hold a sim card in the phone. When i put the sim back my phone couldnt recognise the sim. Since im a DIY guy, i googled the part i need to buy and went to Sunsky to buy it,after i came to this video and read comments that replacing that part fixes network issue, 1 hour ago i received the charging port part,replaced it and now im happy my network issues are gone. 😊😊😊😊😊😊i had to ask people with cheap phones to hotspot for too long. Now im hapoy again with my S22 ultra
Thanks for you help I was able to do it. Battery was hard and sticking the power button strip back on I needed some glue. I would love if you could do some super zoom ins for some parts like attaching the antenna and also how to orient everything since the sim chip fell out and that silver piece up top too when I took it apart I spent a lot of time looking up the correct orientations. Ultimately I could not do it without this video so thank you!

So a sharp object fell into the bottom right of the screen and needed to get a whole new phone assembly, the technician transferred the components like you did in the video but after a day or two my screen ghost touches, he replaced it with another phone chassis just to get a same outcome, he replaced it three times and my phone still ghost touches. what might seem to be the problem? My phone model is the same model in the video thanks

Bro - remember to add that when taking the screen off, to sellotape It (or something equivalent) - to stop shards/splinters of glas flying up in the face. Good video. I'm just waiting for a replacement screen so I can attempt this myself. (I did get one from eBay, but they sent a black one instead of gold... so I have to wait longer again). But I am getting better. I hope this is my first project that's successful on a smartphone. I have done a couple of others, but not a smartphone in the recent models, speaking. I hope your video will spur me on to victory !
@@colchesterphonerepair3835 YES !!!! DID IT ! Although I didn't remove the sticky film on the rear of the glass, at first. It was showing a charging icon, but wouldn't switch on. As soon as the film.was removed, it kicked on. (And unfortunately I have a small crack on the top corner, through trying to do what you said NOT to do. But it's cool. It's my first. It's a project. I already have another spare, as well. Gotta give YOU the kudos, for making it easy to understand. Thank you man.
Heat gun needed. Micro Torx screws. Thread lock on all of them...Care and the right tools, but it is a pain to DIY if you ask me. I got mine apart. Had to drill out a couple Torx screws.
Decent repair just a note why did you use glue T7000 and why not strips surely strips have less to none dry time and no clamping required or am I wrong . Great job either way
You’re right, adhesive strips would have been a quicker choice with no curing time, but at the time I made this video I only had 5mm wide tape. 2mm works best with this model. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I've done the operation and everything seemed to go well... But after reconnecting the screen it stays black 😨 we see the backlighting working and it also react when touching it, but no display... So I replaced the screen connector with no success... Any idea ? (BTW the usb port is working 🤪)
Hey, where can I buy the replacement part? I bought two on amazon and both of the, had issues. I originally changed because the fast charging would not work and it only charged with the USB-C only in one orientation of the cord. The first one I bought the fast charging worked but still had issues with only one orientation and the sim card was not able to read. The second one I bought port did not work at all. So I am currently using the original one.
While removing the screen, I accidently ripped the ribbon cable for the screen on the bottom, it doesn't matter if the screen is broken anyways but i would recommend everyone to be extra careful at the bottom if you want to reuse the screen.
Mine ghost touches at a specific point. The problem goes away whenever it's plugged. I've noticed that it also occurs(when plugged and usable) when i touch the screen simultaneously using two or more fingers.
Good tutorial but you should have definitely stress a little more how important the alcohol is I was praying on my battery punctured it and it started a fire 😢
I did the dame steps as in the video but the screen did not switch on. I solved the problem connecting the charger and pressing power and - during 10 seconds.
Good video but one major miss in my experience. On reassembly the touchscreen was dead. No swipe. I reseated the connectors multiple times to no avail. Facial recognition worked and screen was visible but nothing could be accessed. Panic ensued. On a first open of the phone, it is MUCH more difficult than shown and takes minutes not seconds to open. The speaker assembly is jammed in the phone and is very difficult to actually pop out and bends when doing so, no damage. I actually bent the blade tool getting it out. It needs force to get in and actually pops audibly when rammed back in on the left side. I had to use the screws to force it back into place. I heated up the print bed on my 3D printer to 85 C and put the phone on it for 5 minutes and the glue was not a problem. The no touchscreen can be fixed with a hard reboot. Hold ON switch and Vol Down simultaneously for over 10 seconds and the phone will reboot. After reboot the touchscreen worked. Board, B-7000 glue and pro tools bought as a kit from NuFix, $25 CDN. Arrived fast and all worked perfectly, no affiliation or kickbacks here. No instructions either though.
Thank you I watched your video and I replaced my USB socket. Only you had the right tutorial and the other videos opened the top part unnecessarily and I tried it and I almost was about to make my phone broken
Complete disappointment. Two displays from China were purchased inexpensively from Amazon and did not work. Now in search of the original. I wonder who produces the original? Korea?
Original displays can be hard to find, depending on where you are in the world. If you’re in North America, Injured Gadgets or ESourceParts are decent sites for end users (that is do it yourselfers, and not repair shops)

I've just dropped mine onto a concrete floor and the screen is cracked 😢 but I'd need to take it in to a repair place for this . I wouldn't feel confident doing it myself .
I can confirm the display is exactly the same, the original display I destroyed had P615/610 written behind, while my model is P613, and this aside they look the same The store where I purchased said it were the same parts Samsung support points use
Great video!! Is the original screen needed to support the s pen, or it's the digitizer board that enables the screen to be used with the S Pen? I found screens priced 60+ euro and others priced 130 euro, it's the digitizer board to make the difference in price? Thank you and sorry for the long question :D
The price range is probably due to some screens being aftermarket and some being OEM. And you’re right, some probably have the digitizer board and others don’t. I’d buy one without the board and just move yours over. Hope this helps, and good luck with your repair!
Not really. Heat and a little bit of 99% isopropyl alcohol will help soften the adhesive, but depending on how it’s bonded to that plastic frame, you risk damaging it while removing it. If it’s the right screen just on the housing, you can move the boards/battery over to the new frame.

Fantastic BUT, be prepare to fignt the removal of the back casing and the screen itself. It is glued to death. The removal of the battery as a nightmare, it was glued on all sides. Again, annoying but you will fight to remove, just do it. Also, make sure to order the kit with the screen (normally is part of the order). Have fun, it took about 45 minutes. thanks
