The best choice for you then would be the 256GB option and an SD card. From what I see it looks like only the 512 version has no expandable storage.

*If you have the S20 Ultra you do not need to upgrade to the S21 Ultra as the differences are negligible. Plus, the S20 has the option to expand the memory via a card slot, and a charger.*

The lack of an SD card and that the S21 has only an E-SIM keeps me from ordering one today. Samsung is removing the items that make it stand out from other choices and makes it harder to choose it over other options.

Amazing video, all the specs are actually correct unlike a lot of videos I've seen so far. One thing I was surprised you didn't mention and a lot of people haven't (actually only seen one person talk about it), on the S21 Ultra, if you go into a picture and click edit, then click the menu button in top corner, click labs, there is a object eraser feature that allows you to erase anything in the picture instantly. You don't have to worry about someone or something getting into shots anymore. Going to use this feature a lot! Keep up the good content! 👍

Definitely great improvements but ... not having an SD card slot becauseI use it a lot and it's easier to remove etc and than to transfer a drive etc... that makes me think twice. I'm quite happy with my S20 Ultra and was thinking if to upgrade...I wonder if they'll follow by removing chargers, etc

Pre ordered the S21 Ultra on day one, once I learned it didn't come with the micro SD card, I canceled. 8k with no expandable storage is stupid. Getting the 512gb version bumps you right back to $1400

The rumores had me thinking that the S21 Ultra would have everything I want on a phone (apart from the camera cutout's display obstruction) and that I would actually get one. However the lack of expandable storage and the lack of an option over 512GB on internal storage are a total deal breaker for me. Also, from what I've seen so far, the S Pen is kind laggy when compared to the latest Note. So close...

People shat all over the S20 Ultra so much, they neglected one of the best phones of 2020. Sure, it's not perfect and it was expensive, but with a decent deal, it was a steal. Especially with all the subsequent software update improvements. I got it on a deal for £800 in July 2020 and aside from a few issues here and there, it's been a great phone. Also, the camera is incredible, especially in RAW.

Interesting I just got the s 20 ultra a few days ago it's definitely a upgrade from my note 20 ultra love the display, and the battery on this phone. This phone takes amazing pictures. Only thing I don't like finger print scanner everything else is good it has a lot of new updates so can't complain other than that.

Yeap.. That's why I never buy a phone until I have watched videos and read comments. S20U was a failure. I still use my S7 Edge and I will think it twice before spend so much money. S21U is a monster and beautiful phone with optimisations to all the bad parts of S20U.

@@jimking81 I own the s20u preordered, it’s the greatest phone I’ve ever used and I’ve upgraded every year since the note 4. “Failure” is a rumor. The s21 is a downgrade for me personally. Lack of external storage, smaller screen, heavier body no 100x zoom feature, 25 watt charging (I LOOOOVE my 45 watt it’s crucial) I’ll wait for the Fold 3.

But you compare the S20U with the S21(normal model)!?. No comparison here man! I don't speak about "rumors" but facts. I saw numerous bids and I don't think all RU-vidrs are wrong! S20U is a great phone but with hardware issues that you can't deny. Bad Exynos performance, ugly back design, bad focus, 100x zoom gimmick, limited 120Hz screen. The S21U is a major improvement to all aspects except for the SD card. I don't think 0.1 less inches is so important, even because it's more comfort to the hand. S21U wins under all aspects, period.

@@MobileAura well my note 20 ultra's "25 watts" charging still charge my phone in 1 hour + a few minutes. Samsung has been optimized their 25w to perform comparably to their old 45w charge. And S21 have a far better 100x zoom what are you on about

Something I would like to see on a Samsung phone: An ability to stop the charge at a certain percentage but keep your phone plugged in for things like android auto because I really hate how charging it over and over to 100% causes a lot of battery wear.

One thing worth mentioning that I have seen not one single reviewer mention is that if you have a note 20 or s20 ultra and are trading in your current phone. You do not have to turn in the 25 watt charger it brought. So you really Don't have a charger if you're coming from ios or broke your charger or something like that.

Please do a video comparison between the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra to the Samsung Galaxy S6. I know that might sound crazy but I was watching some old videos that I took on the Galaxy S6 and they were really good! I've not been happy with the S21 Ultra video quality and it would be so intriguing to see the difference. The comparison you have made in this video is the S20 Ultra the retail version and S21 Ultra the pre retail version? Best to save comparison when both phones are the retail versions

If Samsung would only update their OS and Android versions thru carriers in a timely manner, I would still be using my S10 for the storage, headphone jack, better camera layout on the back, and experience, as it remained a great phone. Instead, I went Pixel 5 for now. Will reapproach Samsung maybe next year in the S series.

One thing no reviewers mention is the fact that the S21 series do not support MST. (magnetic secure transmission) that means Samsung Pay will only work with NFC, and not with the older traditional payment card systems. It doesnt bother me cos I never use these type of payment systems, but it could be a real issue for some people.

The S20 Ultra is still a good phone for sure, but I did end up trading it for the Note 20 Ultra because I couldn't get attached to the design. The Note 20 Ultra is the most beautiful Samsung phone ever made in my opinion, even more than the S21 Ultra.

I hope Samsung brings some of these camera features down to the Note 20 Ultra all the way to the S10 series at least via software especially the video recording denomination on the view finder as it should have done long time and one of the things I have critised.

@SuperSaf, I am currently still on the S10 acquired back in 2019. My number 1 concern is battery life improvement, to my understanding the S21 base and S21+ models just don't cut it. The S21 Ultra is the true upgrade. I can eat the price if that's true. Do you feel the Ultra is the true upgrade of 2021? Thanks.

I'm upgrading from s20 ultra. The s21 fixed everything I hated in the s20. The upgrade to qhd at 120hz,the focus issues fixed, the low light improvements, zoom is better,video zoom smoothness improvements,and way better design.i went into best buy to play with the s21 and I took pics side by side and the zoom is improved at every level and that extra 3x optical zoom is perfect when you don't need 10x in certain situations.. it was annoying when the 5x zoom on the s20 was a digital crop and the 10x zoom looked better.. wasn't using the telephoto lens for 5x as it should. I'm excited for the upgrade.. the s20 ultra was rushed out and this s21 deserves the ultra name after the refinements.

I am wondering who on S20 and S20+ complained about having quad HD resolution? Samsung removed it from S21 and S21+. Did anyone complained about having SD card support? They removed it too.
