instructions that come with the privacy screen protector first reads, 1. open the "settings" 2. go to "Display" 3. pull down the bottom to find "Touch Sensitivity" and open it. I have no problems with mine. I am very happy with it.
The fingerprint does not work reliably with this screen protector. However, with some effort it can be used by turning on the extra sensitivity in display settings. That's the reason for the circle by the way.
I just put the screen on my s24 ultra and then set the fingerprints just now in different angles, have tried using the fingerprints many times and it has all worked so far, maybe just once it missed, I will keep trying it out, but so far so good considering that I just put the screen protector and set up fingerprints now, so I guess I need to give it some time, my last phone even with no screenprotector the fingerprints at some point started giving me proble.s 😅🤔
It actually misses a few depending on how you put your finger on, but still faster than typing in the code every time, even if it misses the first time it will get right the second time 🙏
Thanks so much, I followed the instructions to the tee and I didn't have to reset the fingerprint. It is like new and now I feel stupid for paying $39.99 for these things from AT & T. This will literally save thousands of dollars (I have teenagers who break phones often) in my life.
Note 1: "Because the fingerprint glue may stick to the screen, you need to scrape the fingerprint glue from left to right or right to left slowly. After scratching, the fingerprint glue will completely glued to the screen." The fuck does that mean? You didn't address this note In your instructions.
I bought the Panzer Glass for s22ultra and the fingerprint area on the glass is actually a sticker under the glass. Looks like the same is done on this one.You can peel it off but i dont advise you do so. The glue that`s left is hard to remove and you will get fingerprints,dust grease etc. underneath the glass. It also didnt work with the fingerprint scanner even after enhancing sensitivity. The sticker when left on made terrible marks on the screen. Why put a sticker under the glass???? Really stupid!
I have also purchased this brand of product for my S22 Ultra, and, too, found that there are now issues with the fingerprint reader no longer working with this product installed on my phone's screen.
Actually not bad, but I don't give 2 shits about the screen protector, but it comes with 2 one for emergency and 1st for primary, but it holds up pretty well
Bought this in 2024. The thumb doesn't work. Facial recognition and the pattern sort of seem like something I need to start getting used to doing, because the screen looks great and I don't want to keep buying these cheap ass protectors to find one that works with the thumb. The circle isn't that noticeable unless you're on your home screen... of course the circle is useless as it still doesn't read your thumbprint even after changing the sensitivity. I actually had the thumb work a few times when I initially installed it and thought maybe they improved it since all of the previous comments but yeah, now it doesn't work at all. You get 2 in a pack so maybe you can actually cut out a circle in the protector itself? it says it's explosion-proof so maybe that's not possible. Anyway, I don't care, Im keeping it. I'm just glad my S22 has lasted me at least 2 years. Like most people, you're probably replacing a screen protector that is jacked up so you can really skip the cleaning steps. I suppose the thumb thing will be an issue for password quick fills and the like.
I got the fingerprint to work by rescanning it on my phone but even though I increased the settings to sensitive, i am still having to press down hard on buttons. Not good, sending it back
Fingerprint works for me, on installation you need to press hard, but using the phone you need to press lightly, anyway I do not recommend this product, have low quality but it works.
Dont buy this its horrible Edit: I bought the original Samsung screen protector. Much better, you don't even see that there is glass on top and fingerprint works. I recommend it much more than this one.
Yes everything works except the fingerprint and it keeps telling me to press harder so I just gave up and I put a pattern lock let's pray I remember it
Fingerprint scanner didn't work at all and now it's visible all the time. The wet wipes were none dry. And the thing picks up grease ten times faster than the bare glass ever did. Awful product. 1 star.
Total junk, the circle does indeed remain and who wants a permanent circle on their screen ?? Installed mine just like this and it popped off about 2 weeks later for no discernable reason...buyer beware
that circle spot is just bad design. I am returning this piece of garbage. I can't not have a smooth screen. That is crazy! Thanks for the video though.
