If you have the budget go for Samsung, if not One plus is the right choice. If you compare both in hand...at least I did with One plus 9 Pro with s21 ultra. What I immediately felt that there is no comparison: S21 ultra is way superior to One plus 9 pro in every way. 1 is premium and 1 is a mid-budget (one plus is a good phone but s ultra are just better) android phone that's it. It's like comparing Titan watch with Seiko watch, Titan is really good but Seiko is better.

speaking from experience, no . I've used an s9 and am currently using op 3t for 5 + years. Oneplus by far has lasted longer. however with the s22 ultra they claim they've fixed the problem. The hint is software updates, the more updates you'd get means the better longer lasting the phone is. Oneplus 3t jumped from Android 6 all the way up to 9, 4 major os updates.
Why the heck are you using s22 after 5 years? After 5 years then your lithium battery is no longer good anymore. S27 is out so you should go for that or just be cheap and buy oneplus 15 pro for futute. I would pick oneplus 10 pro. Samsung is horrible for charging battery. I mean oneplus 10 will come with 80w charger. Samsung is using 45w. Xiaomi uses 120w charger which basically charges your phone 90 % in18 minutes. Oneplus will be somewhere 28 minutes for full charge. Samsung will take you close to 1 hour charging time
These manufacturers wont allow you to use any phone for 5 years, they will degrade the phones performance willfully by giving updates which willl decrease the performance, dont sprnd too much money on phones its simply not worth it.

After Oxygen Os 11 i started hating my Oneplus 8, so many bugs, lags, heating but was still satisfied because it was close to stock experience. Not anymore! I'm waiting for the s22 launch event which is going happen after 8hrs. Then i'll decide whether should i go for S22 or Iphone 12.
Hey that Goku lock screen is cool, what is it? I have a OnePlus 7 Pro and since it's still on Android 11, decided to go back to the main Android maker this time around, also the camera is just incredible, not the best at video but probably for stills it is with the Pro app
