Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Whitestone Dome Glass INSTALL & REVIEW! 

My phone already had scratches on it because I was too lazy to get a screen protector. The adhesive in this kit becomes like a gel after running it under UV light. All of the micro scratches got filled in an I can't see them anymore with this screen protector. Recommended.

Appreciate the video tutorial. Installed the Supcase UB after 60 second curing process and it ended up lifting the corners as most people experienced. Second attempt, I followed the process but left it overnight before installing the Supcase UB phone case and was able to do so without issues.

Thanks for the video! First time the adhesive lifted on the side after removing the phone from the bracket, but second try worked great! With all these pieces it looks intimadiating at first, but is actually a very straightforward process.

Thank you, Josh, for the video tutorial. Your instructions made the task a little less daunting. I installed the glass before going to bed then the next morning, I tried to put on the UB Supcase but the top right corner of the glass started to peel off. I figured that maybe the glue needs more curing so I hit the top/middle/bottom of the phone with the UV light for 60 secs. each one more time just for good measure. Then I waited for a few more hours and voilá the damn thing worked! I was able to finally use the Supcase with no problems. So, make sure you wait at least 12 hours for the glue to set before you put on the Supcase. That's what worked for me, at least.

Had big problems with the fingerprint sensor after installing , practically drilling a hole through the screen to unlock my phone. Worked 1 out 10 tries.But saw another video that said you should use the UV again. So after 1 week of torture of re-registering fingerprints and pressing hard on the screen turned the phone off and used the uv again for 60 seconds about 3 times with 5 minutes breaks between them. now it works as good as without any screen protector. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the tip regarding putting extra pressure over the part with the fingerprint scanner. Wasn't impressed when I first installed this protector. Had a broken corner and watched your video before installing the second one. Now the fingerprint sensor is just as accurate as with no screen protector.

I just watched your video. It was very informative & way better then any instruction sheet would be. I was able to do a successful job the very 1st time (ever) all thanks to you! (The adhesive kept falling to the side, so I had to tilt the phone to put it back where it was initially. But it worked even though the adhesive spread a little and didn't go exactly by the circle.)

i used these cases on my s21 ultra and used that screen protector for the first time. great combo. i was told i might not be able to get the case off again but had no issues. been waiting for this video. picked up my s22 ultra yesterday. i like the new clear case.

Informative video. I was going to go with just a case like I normally do. After I installed this on my son's Ultra after watching this, I love the way it looks and feels. Your video made me realize how easy these are to install. I still must wait a week for mine to come in because I went for the sky blue. Maybe I'll get through the 4 years of updates before I decide to upgrade again! Probably not.

Very good tutorial, I got 1 bit of dust under the first one, so did it again, second time went well, and it seems to be OK with the UAG monarch kevlar case.

Whitestone and their competing loca brands are definitely products that reward research and patience. Didn't found your video before my install but I did similarly pressed my finger while turning on the 60s light around the sensor. Perfect install, no issues on my S22 base anyway. Blessed.

Nice video, I did it this morning and the phone wasn't all the way down, and when I poured the adhesive the glue ran to the left, I had to wipe the phone an start over again, but the 2nd time was fine. No bubbles and fingerprints work flawless ..

Great video. I just installed and was able to do everything correct on first try thanks to your vid. I still had to re-register my fingerprints twice but now they are working everytime without issue. I also am using the see through sup case you used in this video. I've had it for 2 weeks and it's already started yellowing smh lol but still great protection I may order some casetify cases though .

I also had issues with fingerprint my 1st install. This time I pressed down on the print sensor like he shows. It works great now! I did have to redo the prints, but it worked. Now I can go back to forgetting actual passwords! Lol. Thank you!

Brilliant tutorial. I have never installed one of these screen protectors before and I was somewhat nervous of poring liquid adhesive over my new £1000 phone. However after watching your video I installed the screen saver on my S22 Ultra without any problems whatsoever.

Just installed the Whitestone Glass on my S22 Ultra. Registering the fingerprints in my case was tricky to the point I thought I messed up, but after pushing hard and got them registered, they work flawlessly. Thanks for the clear instructions!

Had this system for 3 phones just installed mine for my Ultra 22 and no problems. First time users may be intimidated at first but just watch the videos and it's a piece of cake. Touch screen and S-pen work flawlessly! Never had a problem! I just got a 2 screen pack from Amazon it was on sale can't beat that or the system! Highly recommend it!

This glass is brittle. I know that because of the curved display, the integrity of the glass structure is vulnerable on the sides. However, I was trying to put on my case after installation and my nail pressed on the side with little to no pressure. It caused a chip that later turned into a triangle of the top layer glass breaking off. I have another glass, but I'm not so confident in this product anymore.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Switched from Otterbox TPU film to this AND IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT !!! I've always had issues with screen protectors on curved displays... but this works perfectly !! I followed the installation process, it can get messy with all the stuff you have to do, so organize your things, and follow the exact thing done in the video. My fingerprint now works better with this glass than the Otterbox tpu I had before. What I did extra is after finishing everything I re healed the glass with the UV light several times just to make sure everything sticks perfectly, left it for overnight without a cover & the next morning I used my cover (Spigen Neo Hybrid) & it's working perfectly with it.

Great step by step video. I just installed a Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector on my S22 Ultra with your guidance.

My keys scratched the surface of the screen while in my pocket. Looked ugly and deep that my finger nail would get caught in it. Decided to protect it with this Whitestone dome glass so it wouldn't get worse. After installation to my unexpected surprise the scratch completely vanished!! Looks like the liquid glue filled up the scratch, no matter how hard I look I can't find the scratch. Your video made it so easy to install! Thanks so much

I am destined to fail miserably at things like this. Second try following this method I ended up with a bunch of adhesive on my table, a little chip out of the glass after applying and a fingerprint sensor thats still a disaster. Really jealous to see it working for you so well @Josh. I have another 2 pack laying around but I get more nervous with every attempt lol.

whitedome and amfilm has its prons and cons, What i like about the whitedome is that there is stickers that protects from the glue to not go in. I have never tired a tepered glass before so im a bit afraid to mess it up lol

Installed mine. Reflection looks a bit wavy when off, but not noticeable when on. I got a mowie, cus the glass covers the camera. The instigation for Whitestone looks allot easier though.

My protector just got a ding on the side close to the edge, but not quite. My phone was also in a very thick ROKFORM case as well and I think it banged somehow on my bike. I was happy with my install too. I've done this before with Whitestone Dome Glass and they will send you replacement with only you paying shipping. The first time I dropped my last phone(Note 8), it was sitting in my lap as I got out of my car. Phones are always in case, but low and behold I got a crack right in the gap where the case and glass don't meet. I was so pissed! Insurance replaced the screen and I stopped using any protector for a long while. I get towards the end of my Note 8's cycle and I see scratches on the glass. This was all shared to tell you all that you need a screen protector on these expensive phones! You can hassle with replacing the protectors, but it's worth it and cheaper than replacing the phone. Especially if you do frequent trade in upgrades or just care immensely about cosmetics.

Perfect video. I did the first one trying to read the instructions. A used piece of toliet paper in the box would been more informative. Totally useless. It had no "context" no "this is why this big handles thing is in the box". I had big issues with the fingerprint scanner and also had issues with some dust. Finally used the second one using the tips from the video. No dust bubbles, fp scanner works perfect (did the "press down hard for a min after the first curing" trick)

Wish I had seen this video before I used my entire 2-pack just to have inconsistent sensor use for unlocking, I could hardly get prints to register! Great vid and better instructions than Whitestone. They should make your additional step to setup the fingerprint reader part of their recommended method!

I had my air filter on for 4hrs in my room to make sure it was dust free haha. It was my first time using a Whitestone dome screen protector and I aced it my first try as well. Also the UAG phone cases fit even with the W.S.D scree protector. I got the Kevlar for my 22 ultra makes it look badass

Great content. I wish you could have shown us you taking off the supcase because when I do it, the screen comes up. I got tired of using glass screen protectors, so I switched to Amfilm elastic skin screen protector, works perfect. And this is for my note20 ultra.

It's my 2nd. The first one was broken after months of using, in a crash (so the glass really do well, the screen have no a single screch). This time, I have no airbubbles (there was 1 little before) and fingerprint sensor works perfect! I strongly recommend this product.

fab video... as there was NO instructions, and ive used other UV protectors before but this one has more steps.. and LESS MESSY ... the ones before on my s20 had only 1 sticker for the speaker/earpiece and thats it.. no alignment brackets.. so this was easier then i thought

Watched your video for my install. Thank you for the detailed instructions. I’d also like to note at 10:08, you stopped curing after 60 secs on the top, middle, and bottom. Whitestone Dome recommends you cure a second time on the top, middle, and bottom. (again 60 seconds each) Just a heads up. Aside from that, great video and content.

Just got a few new things for my S22 Ultra....I got a Zagg hybrid 3do screen protector, Poetic case and a Samsung case. I like the Zagg and the Samsung but the poetic got returned. It's alot like the UB one you have

I got the Green Unicorn Beetle Pro Supcase, the Cyber Edition Latercase & the Spigen Thin Fit Case for my S22 Ultra that should be delivered any minute now.. 🤞 lol *I did call Samsung & they told me that Whitestone or any Glue type screen protectors do Void Samsung's Warranty.. (guess that's why Whitestone turns off Commenting on their videos 🤷‍♂️) Not sure why because they are IP Rated but he did mention something about the glue seeping down into the on/off buttons but I don't care. I just bought a $7 3pk of EGV TPU Screen Protectors & some Rear Camera Lense Protectors. I live around a bunch of rocks & they'll destroy a phone fast! I've had a Black Unicorn Beetle Pro on my Note 10 Plus since it's release & they both still look brand-new! Nice vid 🤟

Best screen protection for S22 Ultra. I use it with a Spigen Liquid Air Armour and an Otterbox Commuter case.

Hi! I already mounted Dome Glass on Note10+ 2 years ago and now on S22 Ultra, and every time I have a very annoying problem: light leaks at the edge of the glass. This glowing frame, right after putting the glass on, is usually broken in some places, slightly chipped or thickened. What am I doing wrong - washing off excess glue too much before curing or what? I am asking for advice.

The only question is that the cases that you are showing, how good is there durability/impact resistance compared to stuff like otter boxes. I work for UPS and need a very protective case

Does the case allow for a glass lense protector? Leavi.g the lenses exposed is a NO for me. Doesnt matter if the case is raised above the lenses. Alls it takes is a key in the pocket to hit those lenses and they will scratch or crack.

I installed mine today but forgot to put on side pads hahaha got glue everywhere but got there in the end very impressive glass great experience I thought I couldn't do it hahah

One thing i dont understand, and i have seen it with every step by step youtube video out there installing this protector on S22 ultra is why they decide to put the black adhesive strip protector on the left side of the phone when clearly on that side is nothing to protect? Correct me if im wrong but i think that two of black strip protectors should go on the right side of the phone, where the volume buttons are and below, where the 5G mm wave antena is. Just wondering...

What is the advantage of this uv over a regular adhesive screen protector and can it be removed easily if cracked interested there must be a reason to go through the extra steps vs just sticking one on?

Hope no one is in love with your fingerprint scanner with this. It won't probably work consistently after. Ive put on 3 1. Messed up, had dust and the FP scanner would not work. 2. Used the 2nd one in the pack and did the "press hard on the FP scanner after the first curing" trick. Worked much better but would suddenly stop working after a few days and need a rescan. 3. Bought another 2 pack after the 2nd got chipped from keys in my pocket. Really pushed down on the FP scanner, worked great for 2 weeks, then went back to working for a bit and then stopping. I just don't know the trick.
