Which one reboots quicker Samsung Galaxy S22 or Samsung Galaxy S8. Boot up test Android 14 vs. Android 9 #s22 #s8 #android14 #boot #galaxys22 #galaxys8 #samsunggalaxys22 #boot #reboot #speedtest
Maybe the reason is they're tryna make both A and S series as identical as possible (with the design, software [one UI for A series and S is different but looks identical]) so people would consider buying the A series for it's look as well.
@@androidflashtech I meant if you use them today they are still surprisingly good and work better than you think Newer Samsungs are the best phones ofc
I had one of them before, but it now has this red highlight covering 3 fourths of the screen. And in a pink highlight, covering the last fourth. So now I have a new phone.
Yeah but that only lasted untill the s10 series after that we lost alot of features and card expansion headphone jack charger got removed from the box etc
@@Jab0LP yo tuve el s8 por un tiempo y debo decirte que la calidad de las cámaras esta por encima de varios gama media actuales. Hoy actualmente tengo un S20fe 😊
My s8 is far beyond its battery cycle, I have a S23U now, the 3 yr old handed down S8 that I owned for another 3 has seen better days (and now I have to discard the S8, (so a'long))
Galaxy S8 was the first great Android phone. First Samsung with One Ui after the terrible Touch Wiz interface, Galaxy S8 brought several new features and beautiful design with that curved screen.
@@stargamer7576 Don't think so, Samsung was using TouchWiz and that UI was awful. The freeze famous of Android comes from that Touch Wiz. With the Galaxy S8 Samsung introduced the One UI and it was a game changer.
@@ivandomaia I mean its up to opinion, my personal experience was difference but that is probably cause I used to use Nova Lancher and even used it on my galaxy s8, stopped using it on the s22FE cause the new Android is dope.
The S8 and also the s9 series was the absolute best phone I think Samsung ever made cuz it literally had everything you could ever want out of a phone. Headphone jack and all
I have a base model S10, and it runs perfectly after like 5 years. Only issues i have are screen burn-ins and compatibility with some apps, still holds up pretty well even tho its a bit outdated. Plus it has a headphone jack.
This is also related to userdata/storage speed than just CPU itself. The more storage there is, the bigger the userdata partition is. CPU needs to initiate the partition on the splash screen(the non-animated boot logo part) before booting up, which will be faster if the storage is faster. This kinda doesn't matter on Android versions, again its more dependant on the specs
Thw notification light from the s8 has to make a comeback i love the rainbow notis on the edges of my s23 ultra now but man that lil noti light was so good back then you knew by color if u got a msg what type of msg and notis could be configured to show a specific color for a specific app it was way ahead of its time then agin anything samsung is ahead of its time
Still using my S8 which I love but a lot of my apps are mysteriously no longer compatible with my phone now and won't work since the S24 has been introduced.
I wish there was a phone that had the form factor of the S8 but the specifications of the S24. The closest I can think of is the ROG Phone 7, Sony Xperia 1 V, and REDMAGIC 8 Pro.
😮 the 8 was great I know a taxi driver that has never cut his off music or unplugged charger since it was new All day every day still works perfectly unbelievable
The Galaxy S8 wins, because everything is already good. The Galaxy S22 is not done processing, coz after you unlock it, it will say "Phone is starting" even after everything would not have loaded up, will be processes after a Minute
You are right about that, although the galaxy s22 won in power-on, but it will continue to load processes due to the amount of things it has. The s8 no longer receives any updates and has more basic things to load.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 back then had a huge hype for its Quick Start feature. I own a J7 Prime 2. One I had a timer on it and this phone from like 2017/2018 boots up in 30 seconds.😮
UI and OS update intentionally slow down the phone. I tried to downgrade my S7 and it was back to life again. It was almost unusable on android 8 although I debloated and did several factory resets. Lightning fast on android 6
@@androidflashtech therefore, I would never update OS on all my devices except on ios that older app versions no longer work (banking, must-have apps...) my android devices are smooth as butter with the preinstalled OS-es
Time was so fast, i still remember the day i see s8 in the store and think 1 day i will get that phone, now i own its grand grand grandchildren, the S22
Android 9 was my favorite android cause my tablet as a kid used it. I use a kind of old LG v40 with android 10 but its nostolgic not being able to install multiple apps but now I can lmao
I have a s6 edge, s8+ and a s10+ laying around as back ups. S6 then the s8 are the 2 most beautiful looking phones Samsung made. I need to dig my s8+ out and start using it again. I have a s21 ultra currently. But i loved my s8+ and s6.
