I just purchased S23 yesterday, and i love it. I was using bigger phones before like 6.7. Now i know how comfy this phone is, and i don’t regret FHD panel instead of QHD panels. Its nearly perfect
I absolutely love my S23. Sleek, compact and powerful. Top grade flagship. Only thing I wish was that it supported 45W charging instead of 25W, yet it charges pretty fast. A great upgrade from my OnePlus Nord 2. Also I bought it in Germany. I got a student discount of 15% and Galaxy Buds2 pro for free which made an amazing deal at 850 bucks for 256GB variant.
@@user-ng4le4gy8u OnePlus experience was great too. Not everyone needs a 1 lakh rupee flagship. Nord is actually good for what it is. I wish they push OS upgrades bit faster and don't reduce the camera quality over updates lol.
I bought the Samsung s23 in February from India. The prebooking offer was pretty great monetary wise. Got the 256gv variant for the price of 128gb. Performance wise I'm extremely happy. I'm not a gamer but I do watch a lot of videos on it. The fact that it can be handled with one hand is a huge pro for me. And the battery life is amazing. I'm quite happy with 25 w charging as well. Charges in less than an hour and that's more than I can ask for. Your review was pretty spot on ershad. Great job.
Wholly disagree with MKBHD. Using this since March. Love this phone. Yes it's pricey but Samsung flagship software is just something else. Added to that the compactness, top notch photo quality and insane battery life. Sadly, people will still buy the IPhone 14 for the damn logo signalling but this is hands down, better than the IPhone 13/14.❤
Bro you remember during festive sales previous year iphone 13 pro was available around 90k You should have looked for it Except notch everything is better in that and pro motion displays looks smoother than Android's 120 hz
@@akshatsahu4329i have compared 13 pro 120 hz refresh rate with my older s20fe 5g 120 hz and i was suprised to see that 13 pro was looking like 90 hz android display and now that i own s23, i can confirm you that Apple 120 hz is nowhere near to the Samsung flagship 120hz. My ipad mini 5th gen feels laggy now due to s23, lol.
Pre-ordered my Samsung Galaxy 23 because of its compact form factor and close to no compromises. Using the phone has been a treat so far. Very prompt and regular software updates, good battery life for a compact phone, excellent photos by it's camera. Having flagship specs with the 4 years of major android updates mean this phone will stay relevant and useful for a long time.
I picked up the plus variant with 512 gigs of storage got a 45w charger and 4 thousand ruppes as cashback as I agreed to get the phantom black variant over the phantom green one. Happy with with the phone overall
@@swapnilsalve1971 it's pretty good tbh I came from the S10 which had a qhd plus display but i don't feel like a downgrade, it's a solid display which looks good on the eyes and also it's sharp enough so nothing to worry about
I have been a Samsung user since 2016. First S7, now my current S9 is holding up since 5 and a half years. Ordered S23 today . Always been a fan of compact phones.
s23 has been an awesome phone this year. Can you guys make a comparison video of S23 vs Pixel 7 Pro? These both phones come around same price range, but seems like very different. There is no proper comparison video of these 2 on YT. Would be very happy to see 1 from you guys. :)
I am using an S23 in green. The best thing about this for me is that I no longer have the urge to look at other phones. My experience with it is great and I am looking at 3 to 5 years of use with it.
I preordered the S23 back in Feb only & only because of its compact size & yes, design. absolutely love the simplicity of the design, no thrills, no frills, just plain stupid good design. Boring is beautiful. Period. I had been using the Pixel 3xl since 2019 & got my dad a Pixel 3 a couple years ago, & since then I was so facinated by the ultra compact feel of the 3 that I just HAD TO go for S23. I ordered & cancelled the 6a I think 12 to 14 times in the second half of 2022 & I am so glad I took that decision. Credit where it's due, there's nothing that comes even close to the Pixels when it comes to Point & Shoot in the Android world. Even that age old IMX363 single camera used to give better shots than the S23, no doubt about that. I have been an avid mobile photographer but since getting the S23, I don't even feel like taking it out to click a pic. No lies. Miss that to the core but have made peace with it. What the S23 offers, the Pixels won't. Peace of mind with everything else, be it stable mobile networks, excellent call quality & good (decent) battery life. Samsung moving to Qualcomm is the biggest reason the S23 lineup is so bloody brilliant. I know it won't happen but for each & every customer's benefit, I really hope they never go back to Exynos chips. Really.
I bought the S23 right after it was launched. I shifted from my 6 month old Iphone 13. There's a MASSIVE difference between these phones and at this point I'm questioning every iPhone buyer/user abt their choice to buy an iPhone. Samsung is offering SO MUCH at this orice point. Just one I faced was: Stability of Android Auto when compared to Apple Car Play is extremely poor and instable. One UI should definitely look into enhancing this aspect.
I moved from apple to samsung few years back the time samsung edge was introduced and had kept samsung note , ultra 20 and loved everything about samsung phones except the resale value is not so great so I changed my mind and moved and bought apple iphone14 pro max instead but within days I realized I made a mistake so I moved back to samsung old phone which is s20 ultra still works as perfect but seems nearing 128gb storage an issue so just came to learn the features of samsung s23 ultra as I am yet to buy that and iphone 14 pro max will sit in my drawer or will give it to anyone in family , what I like about samsung is as such: 1. USB-c connection ...I sometime use it as laptop ..plug usb-c to samsung phone and see the magic on extended monitor ..I use keyboard and mouse with it 2. fast charging 3. extended battery life 4. one click let me close all apps in 1 sec which is badly missing in apple 5. multiple apps in one screen 6. its camera now 7. tons of tuning features , ample of apps 8 . Multiple types of sounds can be controlled which I couldn't found on apple . its just a hype of apple ..I love samsung ..though I have multiple apple laptop, ipads, iphones for family . hopefully I would love samsung s23 ultra..
I'm a S23 user, the cream one, 256 GB variant and I like it and find it as good as iPhone 14 Pro, because of the telephoto camera, the compact form factor, and all the features that a flagship phone needs.
I bought the S23 in Feb via pre-book offers. I got 8 + 256 version for 65k. I am absolutely happy with the phone. Software, Cameras, Display, Performance, Battery life everything is flagship level. Comfortable size and Form factor are the icing on the cake. Negative points: No Charger. Charging Speed of just 25W. Other than this the phone is just phenomenal. Can easily use it for 3 years.
@@ash_ley Battery is a non issue for this Mobile. If you don't play too many games, then this mobile will last more than a day for sure. I do moderate gaming, but still mostly I get through the day. Lack of charger and slow charging (25W) are the only concerns with S23. If these 2 won't bother then it is the best all-rounder.
THIS was a GREAT review...it was soured only by bringing in MKBHD's "assessment" of the "best and worst" list at the end. MKBHD is NOT, contrary to millennial opinions across the internet, the arbiter of all that is good and acceptable in the tech realm. MKBHD is just one more voice in the crowd, and I get damn tired of everybody bowing down at the altar of his technical reviews. I would much rather follow and subscribe to THIS reviewer's YT channel...keep up the great work, man.
PLEASE CLARIFY: I’m planning to switch my mobile from oneplus nord 2 to samsung S23. But I’m in a dilemma to choose between samsung S23 and Oneplus 12r. Please suggest me which is a better phone overall. Also clarify whether samsung ui 6 will slow down over years as it is happening in low buget samsung phones ? Priority : Mild user - performance based - long term usgae.
Just turn off the scene optimizer and the colors and skin tones will get more natural and looks like it gets more detail (to my eye) in every shot with that feature turned off.
Mine did look terrible and orangish even with the optimiser off .. Indoor pictures need a lot of improvement with Samsung... They look like taken from some cheap Chinese phone... iPhone and pixel have races way ahead in that department...
I am using oneplus 9r for last 2 years and recently saw huge issue with battery life and hence ordered Samsung s23 as on flipkart they were offering 24k exchange and overall i got the device for 40k…. But i am confused as there are no major issues with phone except battery… should i go for S23….
Not sure if it is a problem with my unit or others as well, the low light shots are coming out blurry and pathetic despite of ensuring the best steady shot. Rest all looks fine with this phone.
@@tirthaujla4418 Bro wait don't make mistake. I had compared iphone 14 and my S23 for the past two days and I could confidently say S23 is much better in terms of camera and Display. The only advantage I could say about iphone 14 is smoother bgmi gaming
Thats a tragedy in the technology industry. They just cant design a compact flagship anymore. S23 is one of the rare ones in this scheme of design exclusions. I went for S23, mostly for its size and the feel in hand, apart from ofcourse the flagship hardware and the camera. I hope other phone makers up their ante and down the size a little bit . there are a many takers to this size, may be even 5.9 "
Ershad you should mention the S23's shortcomings like no Macro camera options which is shameful & refresh rate can vary only between 24/48hz-120hz unlike LTPO3 in the competition that can do a neat 1-120hz!..
First Yeah macro is not there but telephoto takes better shots than macro from others I like macro photography but tge macro is bad so i use telephoto+zoom And second The variable refresh rate won't give you noticable battery difference
How does variable refresh rate make any sense brother? It's not a feature that you enjoy. It's just there. Also you're the first one I saw complaining about macro camera. It's good to know that there are really people out there who wish to have a macro lens on their phone. And expecting a macro lens after paying close to 1 lakh makes absolute sense.
Please review Pixel 7 because it has received a lot of camera updates that has significantly improved it's photo and video abilities. Also, compare it with S23 and iPhone 14.
I'm a current S23 user. The phone is phenomenal and best in class if you are looking for beast but not for gaming though. Might feel hot at times but trust me. This is the best Android experience you can buy in the market right now. And I have no regrets for not going for iPhone 14 so I'm happy. :)
Hi Ashutosh, does it get hot even with normal usage..my phone got heated while using youtube and also installing something..I was just wondering if it's problem with only my phone or with model in general
No they should have changed the design of A series, because a person is buying a premium model it should look different from mid range phones. That’s why he’s paying more.
S23 front camera making the face large. Anyone faced such kind of issue. Hope any one noticed it. Because its minute level, butakes big difference. Check it out. If you face such issue, raise query to samsung and complaints
Samsung no doubt comes with great features, but Iphone just gives you a more fluid and responsive user experience and almost no animation drops while usage.
I have a question we know trakin tech english is one of best tech channel in India but in term of views why people don't watch this channel video instead of bullshit tech burner, the production quality , information, unbiased opinion every thing top-notch but why only 400 view in 15 min . This is very demotivation for new channel
I did lot of search and reviews . Pretty good phone,I bought it for 6ghz band for Hotspot but this frequency band is disabled in india. Disappointed a lot. Hope samsung should give update for this band . Got it in offer with a decent price. Your review is astonishing. Yesterday I bought it.
Why everyone says iPhone has far better video look at 9:29 look at the white buildings and sedan , it’s overexposed in iPhone, so don’t be a fanboy judge for yourself
i was thinking of buying an iphone but suddenly i bought s23 and my ohh my what a great decision i made, absolutely a great phone which is not talked about, the cameras on these are any day better than iphone 14. ofcourse if you want showbazi then you can go for apple ka logo, but if you want a really flagship experience then this is the one and not average indian desired 60hz shit (apple)
Probably the only guy ever on tech RU-vid who gives Bixby the credit it deserves. I get it, Google Assistant is awesome but Bixby has it own perks. I always use it while on my motorcycle to literally do things on my phone by my voice.
I got a s23 recently and below are the pros and cons Pros: 1. Compact 2. Display 3. 120 hz with oneui6.1 is better than 60 hz on iphone 14 4. Almost no lags with one ui Cons: 1. Camera exposure during background with lights isnt good 2. Phone gets warm during normal usage which makes it uncomfortable sometimes 3. Battery won't be enough for a person who is a hardcore user. 5.30 hrs sot for moderate usage. 4. AI isn't that great 5. Not suitable for gaming
Pre ordered this at 56k with 256 GB ROM from the samsung shop was the best decision, good photos and videos and android ecosystem is what I want daily.
I have notice a problem, I fully charged 100% before sleep. When i woke up at morning i see my phn have only 85% charge. I really don't know the rest of 15% charge where gone😢
Can you compare camera for Samsung s23 with that of iPhone 14 pro? I know it don't falls in same category but would be good for people who are unable to buy 1.3Lk+ mobile just for good camera.
Using s23plus, Badass battery life, Little bit large, but watching videos is delight. Allover great device. One thing it supports 45wt charge over normal s23 25wt
No doubt the S23 is a fantastic compact phone and I would like to use it only if I could afford it. Having said that, don’t forget that with increasing user base of Apple products in India, the superior Apple ecosystem has also started impacting the buying decision in a limited way. And it is a big factor for many for buying an iPhone over great Android offerings like S23.
Unlike in the US, in India very small percentage of people use Mac, so the ecosystem would matter only to enthusiasts. And the Apple ecosystem, although great, it more like a trap to keep on using their own services. I shifted from iPhone 11 to the Galaxy S22 Ultra, best decision.
@@karanc360definitely ecosystem of apple is just amazing but tbh most iphone users just get airpods and use a windows laptop. I mean why not just go for samsung at that point. but yes if you have mac +ipad+airpods+apple watch+iphone together it's just wonderful.
First I purchased S24 but later on when check exchange price of S24 it was 16500/- and S23 exchange is 31k+ not sure how Amazon did pricing. I am a iPhone user and shifting to S23. Please make a session for first things after opening S23 from box. BTW got s23 in less than 44k on Flipkart
Hi, Please give some solutions in the distortions in group photos. It has been a sore point in my s23. Those standing in the corners are greatly distorted.
At the same price I can get Pixel 7 Pro so which one is better Pixel 7 pro, S23 or iPhone 14. Obviously Pixel 7 pro but it has no mention in this video
7 pro... I did that.. sold the s23 and got the 7 pro and let me tell you, the camera is class apart .. Samsung pictures look like they're taken with some cheap Chinese phone... Skin tones are weird and smoothened, there's a terrible shutter lag .. I have had all 3 phones, iPhone 14 which I sold to get s23 coz I was getting storage upgrade to 256gb at not extra cost but seriously bad choice.. iPhone 14 was muchhhh better in terms of camera and stability... Then decided I wanted an Android phone and did not want to get the 14 again so I got the pixel 7 pro.. And it's the most perfect Android phone you can buy... And it's much more than just a phone with that amazing AI ..
Hi, i planned to buy a mobile with below 50k budget. In this budget, vivo v30 pro , samsung s23 also available. Which will be the best choice? Please anyone give me a suggestion
Got it.. sold it in a couple of months... The camera was weird... Not consistent at all.. indoor pictures were horrible with an orangish cast even after putting the scene optimiser off... The shutter lag was like I've seen on no other phone.. Most pictures would turn out blurr coz by the time you snap a pic, the subject has already moved... Also the smoothening and yellowish skin tones.. I couldn't get a single good image of human subjects... Not worth 60k... Plus the eye strain with that extra bright and artificial calibration was so bad, my eye would be red all the time.. And the battery deteriorated over time, initially it was very good but over next few weeks it went from bad to worse with apps using the juice... Got the pixel 7 pro and let me tell you the camera is miles ahead of the s23... And I definitely think Samsung need to work on their pictures indoors..
same for me, im planning to sell s23 just bc of the camera..everybody is saying that s23 camera is awesome and blabla and i believe samsung payed them to comment that everywhere bc my camera experience is terrible..and also low light video recorded in 60fps feels like 24fps and its laggy which didnt happen on my old iphone
I am currently using apple 12 of 64gb I need to ubgrade its my urgency so plz suggest me to go for 14 coz im using ios or go for Samsung s23 .! But I don't have more experience on androids
Doesn't matter how much anyone tries to appreciate the smaller form factor, the smaller screen doesn't simply do justice to those flagship specs. A little bit bigger screen size should've been perfect. That's why s23+ could've been more practical if Samsung didn't push the price up unreasonably high for just a larger screen size.
love android or ios if android Which is ur favorite android phone brand means apple of android Which anroid phone is best In anroid I don't need Chinese brand Samsung vs pixel Which is best and durable
I am Using S23 right now and I am planning to Buy Iphone 14 in Next BBD coz I am not that satisfied with This OS also I was using a Iphone for 3 yrs So should I get 14 or Not ?
Only thing that bothers me abt my S23 is that the bezels are slightly thicker than on my old S22, idk why they decided to do this it's like taking a step back.
Love my S23 for it's size very compact and Amazinggggg battery 🔋 life. Woah I was surprised by the optimization Samsung has done here. And of course Samsung's Display and Camera what I love 😍 about S23🤩 it gives some Luxurious Feel even the iphone can't give, I mean the the iphone 14. S23 is directly compared to iphone 14 pro. It's that Good 👍 TRUST ME 😌 go for it blindly without any 2nd thoughts.
@@rajansmart121 Definitely it lasts for a Day even for a heavy usage without games. For moderate it can extend to next day as well. It was quiet surprise for me that this entry level compact Phone gives 👌 Amazing battery back up for it's size. And feels very light weight 🤩 damnn it's my dream Phone. It gets every possible flagship features that Samsung could offer at it's best. And Cameras are much better than iphone 14 series. Overall it's dream Phone for every guy like me. Go for it without any second thoughts. 👍
