Hey there, amazing video. I saw that you shoot in manual mode, so I was just curious if you've ever had issues with grain in the footage when filming at night?

Hey, thanks! Unfortunately, the phone can't handle well ISO higher than 800, grain becomes overwhelming. So I tried to keep ISO lower than that as much as I could

Olá! Sim, faço fotografia e videografia profissional em Dubai. S23 é realmente ótimo para algumas fotos rápidas, mas brilha mais no modo Vídeo Profissional. A automação não funciona tão bem com frequência.

Was this on manual mode on the native camera app and did you use any filter (eg: nd filter)?

Yes, everything was shot in manual mode, native app, and no any additional gear (filters, gimbal etc.)

Thank you 🙌 Mostly, it was not much of grading. Normally, I just blur the image for 2-4% to soften it up a bit, adjusting tones and contrast and throwing some suitable lut for the atmosphere with 20-40% transparency 🎨 Of course, for some scenes, it is more complicated than for others.

@treatl yep, in some cases, slight blur really makes a tone of difference. Sometimes, I even add some grain to make image look more natural.

Thank you 🙌 Yep, only handheld. 4k 60 fps was slowed even by 50% 😁 some shots in 8k 30fps

The s24 Ultra video looks a lot better on your other video, can you do a comparison with the latest software update ? s23 vs s24 ultras..

On which one specifically does it look better? I guess I was still learning to squeeze full potential out of it here 😅 Well, I don't feel it's necessary to make a separate comparison for these two phones since the difference is quite minimal. I look forward to S25, hoping for a bigger leap

@@333Ayron333 i dunno, but "Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra - Trip to Paris" colour seem to be more pleasing to the eye, the s23 ultra seems to be a little dull, you made about 5 videos taken from the s24 ultra, you should do justice with the s23 ultra, its important because right now, samsung is still selling both, the s23 ultra and the s24 ultra, and buyers can make well informed decision with quality video you make :)

@ghoshhirak definitely 16:9, since I prefer to capture as much information as possible. You can crop to 21:9 any time on the postproduction

@@333Ayron333 Sir I am facing an issue, that is when I recording video in HEVC mode with High Bitrate Video option on. The recorded video is not playing smoothly in my PC having VLC media player or Media player classic. Do you record in HEVC mode or H.264 mode.

you could make better use of the camera. These colors are not highlighting the image and the white tones are blown out. Even if you know what you're doing or are an expert at it, it wasn't the best idea. These smartphone sensors are very small and limited, you would have to be careful when shooting in raw, using a professional mode like moment camera or filmic pro, as well as anatomical lenses. The movements are good, but the lens distortion and squares in mm per pixel are not correct. Then I will do some filming on a s23 and post it on my channel.
