@gimomo445 thanks a lot! 🙌 No, for this one I didn't use any stabs. Now, I started testing the Blackmagic app, and it doesn't have any stab, so, apparently, I have to use one in the future 😅
This hits different on my S24ultra. My only complaint is poor stabilization. Sure..no raw or 422 10 bit, but the simplicity of previewing and recording with a LUT...that's enough for me. I have MCpro but the color science on this just hits different. Better than the native app for sure. Great combo S24ultra/BM app.
@Thewritersforum I agree, the signature color science in BM is great! Also, even tho it's not 4.2.2 10 bit, still the footage is quite flexible on post. I love the amount of sharpness - image is crisp yet not oversharpenned. But yeah, stab is really terrible. Doesn't matter which stab mode you choose, it's just not there 🥲
MotionCam pro. You can't shoot 8K and it doesn't support all the lenses (only main and U-wide) on my S23 ultra. 👉Atleast for now. Might be different for S24 ultra.
That`s why I prefer Blackmagic now - it supports 8k, moreover you may use all the lenses in it, unlike in the native app, which really surprised me! However, stab is doesn`t work there 😕
Thanks for making this video, you get great quality recording with Blackmagic camera app. I hope in the future you can do it testing with mcpro24fps and motioncam pro apps (I understand that their Directlog function converts RAW to LOG). Great job, greetings.
@EFM_Max_Production it's mostly reasonable for PROs with small productions, when you really understand, why you need it 📷 Otherwise, there's plenty of cheaper options that offer similar possibilities for people who need the cam for simpler tasks
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with Blackmagic Camera application - 4k cinematic video (8k downscale) Finally I got a chance to test Blackmagic app on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Mostly, I enjoyed the process and results - the image looks quite natural without oversharpening and extensive noise reduction. 10 bit color depth really helps during postprocessing and dynamic range feel wider than in Pro Mode of the native app. The complete absence of stabilization is very annoying tho. Get ready to purchase a gimbal if you want to get descent results with Blackmagic app.
It was shot in a standard color profile, no any log profiles was used since it was shot in standard camera app, Pro Video mode, mostly in 8k. But yes, it was color corrected and graded after.
@@333Ayron333 Sir I am facing an issue, that is when I recording video in HEVC mode with High Bitrate Video option on. The recorded video is not playing smoothly in my PC having VLC media player or Media player classic. Do you record in HEVC mode or H.264 mode.
@CLAP-ONE thank you! I softened it a bit, but still, you may notice extra sharpness in some shots. I used Pro Mode in native app for this one. Yesterday I tried blackmagick cam and so far, I have mixed feelings about it (especially stabilization). Will test it more for better results. Also, I'm waiting for a special phone cage from small rig, I'm curious how much it will help to control the movement better.
I'm confused 🤔 what should I buy for making video high quality and heavy gaming like PUBG, cod I'm really confused some people say iphone in good in Video quality but Samsung only for photography not video 😮
