Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus Real-World Test (Camera Comparison, Battery Test, & Vlog)

I just got this for someone close to me and am rocking the S24Ultra myself. The 24+ is effectively the Ultra without the pen if having the best camera that Samsung has ever made is not specifically a requirement for you and if you don't need an S pen. It is nicer in the hand to hold if you are used to a normal sized and shaped phone. In truth I really have a hard time faulting it. They made a solid phone. To your video ... I always look forward to your videos because while you never skimp on the tech - you always give us more than that. You seem to be giving us lots and lots more in this video and I am here for it. The information about the spit 8's bar/cafe was amazing as was the rest of the info. I don't know how you get the balance so right with not giving too much but giving enough that when in NY I might even look for that establishment. I hope you get some compensation for what you do as I really do believe you deserve it. It never feels like you are selling anything - it feels like you are sharing something with us. If you were compensated - I would think that was more than fair. The key for me is the way you do it is magic. I actually don't think that a comparison between iPhones and Android phone at the high end is a buying decision help because at the higher end where people are really investing in a phone - they are already in a ecosystem so the probably are not choosing between Samsung and apple. However, I would love to see hoe this phone stacks up in day to day use compares to an iPhone plus and the google 8pro. I don't think, Google actually have a real competitor to the s24Ultra but the person who might but the 8pro is absolutely the same person who might buy the S24plus. A comparison of two days or even two individual fortnights with your thoughts on your use world be very interesting. Just my thoughts. Once again you are one of the best at this and the unique way you deliver what you give us shines though. Much appreciated ....AGAIN! Looking forward to the next one!.

The hertz rate does not drop to 1 hertz. This is incorrect. Do the refresh rate in developer options on the Galaxy and you will notice that the real rate is from 24 hertz to 120 hertz only. Am I surprised by this shading from you as technicians?

Hands down the best tech video I've ever watched. I didn't know your channel before but instantly subscribed, because it's an amazing idea to combine a tech review with introducing interesting sites in your city. The countless camera comparisons are very useful, as is the detailed battery usage breakdown at the end. I found that quite a few tech videos are too close to downright advertising; one doesn't get that feeling from your video at all. I'm still unsure whether to shell out the extra cash for the Ultra - I'm currently using the S10 Plus, so any of the new models will be a massive upgrade - and your video made an overall strong case for sticking with the Plus model. Thanks a lot. I'll share your video right away with my gadget-loving buddy, and I already recommended the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and Splits Eight to a friend in New York. Really a great job.

Unfortunately in Europe we got Exynos 2400 s24 plus, nobody will buy it and it looks like a great phone!

Watching this on my iPad, while my new S24+ charges. Great real word use. Loving the battery and being back on a Samsung device. One thing about your videos I enjoy are the travels and city life videos and clips. I’m originally from Detroit, but lived in Chicago and Miami for years, so I’m used to big city life. Now the Texas coast at the start of Padre Island is home. I love seeing the city activities, because that doesn’t exist here.

Tomorrow I switch from the s23u to this phone. While the s23u is still probably better the hand feel is better with the 24+ and my 23u is burning hot for the last month.

I sold my S24 Ultra and went with the S24+. I am very happy with my decision. The form factor of the Ultra is too big for me and not comfortable in the hand. I also don't find myself using the S-Pen much at all. Everything is super snappy and the battery life has been amazing.

It's an interesting device for the AI but wonder when the other devices will get these and other features

HONESTLY, THE 10× OPTICAL OF THE S23 ULTRA IS FAAAASRRRRRR SUPERIOR AND ALSO THE 10X-15X IS WAYYYYY BETTER THAN THE S24 ULTRA'S WEAK SENSOR CROP (IT MAKES SENSE IN DSLR BECAUSE THEY HAVE HUGE SENSORS IN RESPECT TO THE SENSORS OF THE PHONE CAMERAS)

My sister just upgraded to this phone after using the S8+ for what seems like eons now. I had to set it up for her and it's a great phone.. if I upgrade, I'll be getting the S24 Ultra as I'm currently using a Note 20 Ultra. Great review as always.

I'm not happy with Samsung locking down their phones, so even though I enjoy your videos Samsung has lost me. No, I don't want the Ipown videos as there is something wrong about opting into a walled garden for hipsters.

So Samsung's "Amazing" AI stuff is just repackaged version of something Google will do better in their phones at some point. We are at a stage where 1 clown sells you one thing that another clown created and calls it their own. This is the fundamental problem with Android - it all comes down to one player - but that player is very sly and lurks in the background ready to own your data....
