You forgot about Samsung DeX. This feature combined with the S-pen is assuring a productive way to do some job without missing a bigger screen! Very underrated feature in my opinion! And what about the 7 years of updates?
Got the iPhone 15 pro max delivered Thursday, customized it for daily driving Friday and returned it on Saturday. I felt ripped off. Ordered Samsung S24 Ultra today, Sunday with S22 ultra trade in.Samsung Knights rejoice! Love the videos Saki! ❤

Come on now dude, calling the IPhone OS for mediocre is just ridiculous. I have never used an IPhone and I will never use it because, we can agree on this, it's limiting. But that aside, it's one of the best phones ever made.

24 ultra is customizable like most android phones, but OS on iPhone is tops, apps are on another level. Even with 8g of ram it leaves the 24 behind, both are giants. Each have their own features.

Great content. The s series blows away the iPhones in making your phone yours. Especially the home screen. I can have snow falling down my home screen. I can also have all wallpaper except for a small widget that's holds 12 apps in it, and I can put it anywhere on my home screen. This is what I call making my phone my own. Not what apple limits me to have. I'm not hating on iPhone. They are great phones. But I am hating on apple for not letting their customers experience the full potential of what their phones can do.
Owning both the S23 Ultra ( S24 Ultra on pre-order ) and the 15 Pro Max, i can say that both are fantastic phones in their own rights. Yes Samsung has way more features but i think the iPhone's features are probably used more often from the average consumer. Apps do seem more refined on the Iphones than on Android in general and as far as cameras, i get more consistency from the Pro Max. I can't speak for the S24 Ultra as i didn't receive it yet but im sure it will be even better than my S23 Ultra. All comes down to personal preference. If i had to keep just one, i would still choose Samsung S23/S24 Ultra without question.
This was a very good analysis. As a user of both I would actually argue that the Samsung is smother, and I prefer the android layout. But then again some people prefer the colour blue to the colour red. It's preferences.
Finally Samsung is faster. Other channels did like 5 different benchmarks and Samsung won four out of five. Gpu and ai power they come out on top, and that is way more important than single core cpu. Samsung has finally done it, kicked apples ass in performance
The camera test is not really fair yet , samsung s24 still has pre-release software. It should be getting a software update later this week. I like that color a lot but it's not worth me upgrading from the s23 ultra.
The Samsung S24 Ultra definitely beats the iPhone 15 Pro Max due to the introduction of AI Features. If the iPhone 16 Series don't come up with AI Features, it's a huge loss for Tim Cook

So is the camera ok? Apparently some units may be having issues and a big update is due on the 23rd to resolve the problem....X (formerly Twitter) was all abuzz today with Ice Universe in the centre of it. Usually I take X with a pinch of salt but one guy Max Jambor was telling reviewers not to test the camera for now till the update rolls out to all the 3 models.
Loved this comparison video! Many big tech "reviewers" are just influencers now, worried about upsetting their subscribers if they pick the 'wrong' phone (or the company not sending them pre-release devices to review next cycle.) This review seemed detailed, fair and well-balanced.
for iPhone I feel more protected with iOS against viruses and malware , I like AirTag is working better than samsung tag 2, , I like lidar 3d scan to save 3d objects files, I like the option for satellite connection in urgences situations and the fact can call automatically if accident happened. I have all my passwords saved in iOS ecosystem, but I feel the s24 ultra look better and I like translation options. so I will buy both phones, maybe after one month I will sell one of them
That reverse wireless charging is really a life safer. Many times have I just forgot to charge my Buds Pro and I could charge them on reverse charging just to get the last bit of music experience👌. Shame for Apple.

Both phones were on display at the local store. Although being fond of iOS, the S24 Ultra sold me right away. I always wanted to own a Note-phone, and in the case of the S24 Ultra, the screen now being flat + square design destroys the iPhone for me. Great comparison, Saki!
Camera wise the iphone has better results to my opinion , app wise and multitaskwise and alot of other things are more compelling thanks to android . I kind of wished the face unlock would also come to samsung as its easier when you’re using gloves or like me as a painter my fingerprints arent always as consistent because of sanding and such

Samung in my opinion is the better phone, but in my opinion its too much phone for the average consumer. Most people wont utilize all these features to the fullest extent. these are for tech savy people. The iphone is minimal while still having decent features as well as reliability with its ecosystem. Im on a pixel 7 , so when i upgrade my phone , i have to say i think i will be galaxy. I dont consider myself an average consumer when it comes smartphones. But i want to try iPhone. Last iphone was iphone 5. I'll see .
Think you're mistaken, there have been various comparison tests done already. The S24 Ultra and even the S23 Ultra have faster graphics performance than the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Samsung isn't "catching up" in the graphics department, they're comfortably leading.
I am a fan of Samsung and I've never owned an iPhone but clearly your opinion is skewed to favour the s24 ultra. iPhone 15pro max from this review wins in every department except the pinhole on the display.
Totally agree, the iPhone Pro Max 15 wins the camera hands-down. Disappointing for Samsung releasing a premium phone when there’s camera issues. Samsung should have WAITED a few more months to FIX these problems before for its release. This is a win for the iPhone 15 Pro Max here.
Switched from s23 ultra to 15 pro max. To be honest personally hardly ever used those gimmicky features on s23 ultra.. may have used s-pen like 3-4 times in a year .lol.. also the dex feature never used if i have a great laptop.. and how much ever i customized my daily usable apps were like on 3-4. Samsung gives things assuming that people need them..like who has recorded a 8k video and mess up the storage.! Been 2 months since using 15 pro max and honestly never missed s23 ultra as i can do almost everythiny on iphone except for those sPen showoff to my friends while using it as a remote to take pictures..😂.. iphone just feels more premium..like even Marques said its like a Porche in which not much improvement is needed..same shape year after year with minor upgrades.. So far happy with 15 pro max.!

Not in my country. In most countries Iphones are the most expensive still to this day because of the storage. The base model of 256 gb ultra costs: 1479 euros and the Samsung costs: 1449 euros which is still cheaper then the iPhone. With that being said I get the Watch 6 LTE for free included which has the price here of: 289 euros so then I am technically spending 1160 on the Samsung s24 ultra and you can trade in your phone or sell it so you don't spend that much. iPhone here does not give any free stuff or sale prices. @@ER0CK5_
Every iPhone sold puts more money in Samsung's bank. I use Samsung products not Apple. My GF uses iPhone and she wanted a ringtone like mine and so she had to pay for them. She was looking at my walls and wanted the 3D thing I use, no can do. We have a 4K Samsung TV and it's nice that my camera can do 4K w/ ease given the write speed. The s24u will need updates and they do this every year. Samsung phones should be made of carbon fiber, graphene, and Ti. TiO2 (titanium dioxide) is used to make white paint, WTF, why didn't Samsung make a white s24u??? Thanks for your link Saki, used it and got the fullest discount.
Concerning speed, real-world tests are the ONLY tests that matter. The synthetic tests you use are useful to a degree, but they do not accurately reflect the actual speed of each phone in real-world situations. In actual speed tests on RU-vid, the S24 Ultra is actually faster (slightly) with most apps and games. However, in video editing, the iPhone beats the S24 Ultra by a small margin. So overall, the S24 Ultra is slightly faster than the iPhone Pro Max. Also, in most battery drain tests, the S24 Ultra lasts 20% longer than the iPhone Pro Max. It lasts approximately 40 minutes longer on a charge than the iPhone Pro Max 15, which is a dominating performance metric. With updates, I am betting that the low-light performance of the S24 Ultra will excel the iPhone Pro Max in both photos and videos. It ALWAYS takes Samsung time to dial in its video and photo quality on its new Galaxy phones, and I have owned five of them. It is a little irritating, but to be fair, Samsung does not have the iPhone's advantage of using IOS designed for the iPhone's camera and SoC. So it makes sense that it takes Samsung time to optimize new camera/video/photography performance in its Galaxy flagship phones.
The S24U is arguably giving better day to day battery life irl usage (testing in the traditional way is not accurate, day in the life is) and the difference is kinda big from what I've seen and heard

Actually 💥Battery life on S24 Ultra longer with bigger brighter sharper screen on 1 of few test that's out. 💥 And real world speed test S24 and iPhone about tied up they both fast. Pics and vids are about tied also although the S23U has 200 mp cam and 8K which Iphone don't have at all, Plus zoom better. But iPhone has its strengths also with pics. Other than that the S24 U does alot more but iPhone has nice ecosystem. Overall S24 probably end up phone of the year again 🤷🏽♂️
I had a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and during one of their software updates(I believe it was update 23), I could not use the phone as a phone for almost 2 months. I would hear only half of the conversations and on the other end they could only hear part of what I was saying. This made me sooo mad that I traded it in for an iPhone. I have never had any issue with the iPhone, but would like another Galaxy.....just very hesitant to go through that garbage again!
Well I can tell you that s23 and most likely also the s24 will be better option then the iPhone. I really did not like the experience that I had with the iPhone but I love my s23 ultra so far. The bets phone I ever had. Now you will have 7 years updates.
Even though it's very hard to believe your story but why didn't you downgrade your software? All you had to do is take your phone to customer care or download and flash it yourself.
@@eru01 First, this Did happen to me, secondly, the software was an automatic upgrade. Third, even Verizon couldn't fix it and there is no local Samsung place to take it to. I was so pissed, I got rid of it.
I think you were unlucky. I have the S20FE 5G and the S23 Ultra, and both have been great phones. Every so often I do backups to Samsung T7 SSD drives. I once had a problem with WiFi relating to a bug in my Samsung profile as far back as my S3/S5. I could not connect to most WiFi other than my own. The solution was to reset the connection profiles of every Samsung phone and tablet and that fixed the problem. I also replaced backup profiles with new fresh working profiles.
@@konradc12 Many people that I know had the same issue with their S21 Ultras at that time. Quite a few of them just lived with the issue until it was resolved months later. I couldn't wait that long and traded it in for the Apple 14 Pro Max.
As a fan and owner of macbook laptops for 17 years, I totally HATE iPhones. I have owned a Samsung Note 3, Note 10+, and now a S22 Ultra . At the same time I have had to carry iPhones as work cell phone and BOY they suck suck and double suck.... that said, love my M1 PRO Max macbook.
Why doesn’t anybody who does these reviews go talk about the OS security and call quality, Bluetooth, Cell signal quality. I switched to iPhone simply because the cell quality was so much better on a iPhone compared to Samsung. For example. We are on AT&T and we’re at the beach right next to each other. My wife’s iPhone had signal and my Galaxy didn’t. iPhone has better privacy and security controls.
