We get the S24 Exynos here. People complaining about battery drain, heating issues, on/off lags and jitters. Kind of like a downgrade from the S23 SD8GEN2. This is why Xiaomi 14 is a win for me.
I can't believe why anyone living outside the US would choose an s24 over a Xiaomi 14. The video on the 14 was sharper and it absolutely embarrases the Samsung in low light and telephoto shots. Throw in the fast charging and ir blaster and it truly is a no brainer. If dex is a priority and you absolutely have to have updates for all eternity then whatever
I'll will buy Xiaomi 14 and Samsung S23. Not S24. BTW! Xiaomi 14 is superior to both S24 and S23. But you need to learn how to use Xiaomi 14 properly. Xiaomi users will know.
Please confirm whether Xiaomi Hyperos have the 'Multiple Users' feature? It can be found under: Settings: Additional Settings: Developer Options: Reset to Default Values: Turn on System Optimisations (Must be turned off). It will be available in the Setting's main page then!
Xiaomi 14 bezels is much more thinner, its just that the black frame is adding on top of it making it look bigger, I recommend to select white or the jade green option but you wont have the matte texture
Other than the fog issue on xiaomi phone, i would say that xiaomi have the best performance than any smartphone at that price range, good camera, good processor, compact. For me the software update doesnt really matter cause id probably buying new phone after using it for 4 or 5 years
How does the matte glass back feel? See so many painting out how slippery the glossy glass back versions are.. Is the matte black better in that regard?
Only gsm carriers like t mobile and at@t. Verizon network is CDMA which is not supported by the majority of import companies. OnePlus and Motorola do offer us network specific phones and I would stick with them.
Good morning! I need your help, I have a Redmi Note 10S and I'm looking for a phone with good performance but with a camera that takes great photos and videos. Which one would you recommend between Xiaomi 14, samsung S24 and pixel 9 Real? or would you have some other model to suggest to me? Thank you very much in advance
Hey man, pretty good vídeo, i`m getting interested in Xiaomi 14 but i`d like to know how the camera performs inside apps like Instagram or tiktok, is It bad or ok for a flagship ?
Does it means it outputs same quality when taking pictures via those apps as original camera app? Some phones do not use advanced camera processing in this scenario and images lacks a lot.
Hello there! Could you tell me if xiaomi 14 has an option to make photos in Raw mode please? How many Megapixels can you make with the camera in raw mode? For example: I know in iphone 15 pro, if you choose the option high efficence and in raw mode option, you can access to the maximum of the camera 50MP. Thank you.
@@Spike626721 So.. are you telling me that xiaomi 14 has an option called (pro mode) that makes photos in raw at 50MP? If that is true maybe i´ll buy this phone.
Dude, you know you can set a more colorful display on Xiaomi. There is also a saturation slider. I don't see why everyone has to stick with the default settings
Does the xiaomi 14 support some kind of desktop mode like dex? They seem to be fitted with usb 3.2 so they should support video HDMI over usb. Can you test this?
about display saturation, Xiaomi has by default Natural Pro mode enabled. i think it has two steps of vivid presets above that. so thats why you se s24 as more colorful
Can I buy your xiaomi 14 off you after you're done with reviews? I never ask this but I really want one to supplement my S24 and do my own conparisons😅
Istg, every phone reviewer says Samsung has the best displays, do they even use the phone? I have the S23 and it has the worst colorbanding issues of any recent flagship I've seen. I had the Xiaomi 13 for a short while which I sold because of software reasons and that didn't have those color banding issues at all due to the 10bit display. It also supported Dolby Vision which the S24 does not.
I had the xiaomi 14 for a month, i liked it a lot, the color pro mode in the screen is just perfect, the authentic mode for me was literally the goat, i didn't experienced the haze issue luckily, but knew it could happen. Also the battery was ok for a phone of the price, but honestly, I still dont like the new HyperOs, i still think the one UI 6.1 is still better. Currently my daily driver is a S23 ultra and won't change it to the mew s24 ultra just for the "better" 5x Edit: almost forgot but i honestly don't recommend s24 if you live outside US. Its literally dogshit. Its not comparable to the s24 snapdragon not even the s23.
It's not that Samsung has better screen to body ratio but the sides of it are not in black therefore it gives the impression like screen to body ratio is much more aggressive
Compared to the Xiaomi 14, the S24 has a more premium look with its thinner bezels. It is also more compact, lightweight and easy to use. However, the Xiaomi has a slight edge in picture quality, though it may not be noticeable unless you compare them carefully side by side. I also find the green color on the Xiaomi very attractive and definitely much better than dull and boring colors of S24. Unfortunately, Samsung's situation in Europe is not very good. They offer only their "famous" Exynos processor, which makes S24 inferior compared with their competitors on Snapdragon Gen 3. Probably, S23 is the best choice now both in terms of price as well as from technical standpoint.
